She provided meaningful options and we are happy with the design. We discussed with Aleksandra that we wanted the shades installed as close to our skylights as possible, and she confirmed with the installer that that was possible. Install (David): 2/5 We did a walkthrough with David and again explained that we wanted the shades as close to our skylights as possible. He asked, and we told him, that we also wanted the solar recharging panels to be on the side where the shade collected when opened (so the panels would be less visible). To be fair, David warned us that he would likely scratch the walls and may leave gaps because the coverage around our skylights was uneven. Both of those came to pass (which I am separately fixing), but that is not why we are unhappy with the install. Rather: - Despite the fact our ceiling is flat and our skylights are flat, David installed the shades at a slight angle. When I confronted him about it, he stated he was trying to follow the wall around the skylight. I disagree that his approach accomplished that. In any event, if there were options as to how the shades were going to be installed, we believe David should have conferred with us before unilaterally making a decision. - David also installed the solar panels on the opposite side of where we discussed. David stated he had no recollection of our prior conversation. We disagree that we never discussed this, but as above, if there were options, we believe David should have checked with us before installing. After confronting David about the shade with the most severe angle he begrudgingly reinstalled it (photos attached). Aleksandra did offer a partial refund and offered to have David come back out and reinstall the shade. However, we do not have the availability to monitor David the entire time he is here, which appears to be the only way to ensure things are done as we discussed. Additionally, the 3 of the 4 corner covers have fallen from the shade that David reinstalled and we do not relish the same thing happening to the other shades. The upshot is Aleksandra is easy to work with, but if you get David to do your install you may want to supervise his work.

We thankfully discovered High Tech Screens via online searches, and validated them through our Windows & Doors subcontractor/reseller. (we installed the highest end Marvin Ultimates and Marvin Moderns throughout our project) High Tech (Josh and Justin) arrived as scheduled, and always on time. They assessed and installed custom screens on four of our doors, including two outswinging french doors (2 screens on each), and two single outswinging doors. High Tech's attention to detail and quality work is notable. The finishes match our door trim as desired. The function of the screens are excellent, and the screens "hide-away" from view when not in use / retracted. Further, High Tech's screens and craftsmanship are so good that we unfortunately had a worker inadvertently walk through one of them after installation (the installation was so clean he didn't see the screen). Josh and Justin found time to return to the site within 48 hours and repair the screen so that it works like new. We cannot recommend highly enough High Tech Screens & Shades. If you are looking for a professional job/installation for screens for a high-end home, they are the truly the only firm you need to consider.

RST installed our 3Day blinds. Chan was fantastic and provided the ideal reliable service one could ask for. If I use RTS again, I intend to specifically ask for Chan to assist. Chan was warm, friendly and accommodating the entire time. He made it a point to make sure he kept things clean and tidy during install. Also, he took the time to answer questions I had on our set up and gave us advice on upkeep for longevity. Chan went above and beyond by helping me address strange air pockets behind the blinds. While he didn't have to help here, he made sure we got it installed right the first time. For jobs like this it's not uncommon for people to just be in and out and move on, but Chan made a positive lasting impression with his kindness and care. read more

We recently had blinds installed. The blinds in the living room hang beautifully. While the blinds in the dining room had separation and didn't lay nicely. I called to have RST Installations come back to assess the problem. Chan arrived to the home. He was very professional and polite. He assessed the situation thoroughly. Jolynn Rodriquez came to the house, and managed to climb up the 40 steps from the sidewalk carrying several books of samples. We picked a couple of fabrics. She took measurements and gave me a reasonable price, estimating delivery in about 6 weeks. In 7 weeks she called and we made an appointment for the installation. Spencer did the installing in just about one hour. The drapes did not meet at the bottom hems. I called Jolynn, and she came up that day. She climbed on my ladder, did some adjustments at the top, and fixed the problem. I am very impressed with the wide range of fabrics she had to pick from, her reasonable pricing, her delightful installer, and her ability to fix the problem. I recommend her highly!

I was pretty sure it was an issue with the motor, but I wasn't sure I could find someone who had experience fixing this type of issue on my brand of shade (Somfy). I contacted Oscar, and I immediately felt reassured that he knew what he was doing and had the right experience. He sent out a couple a great techs (Pat and Jay) that did an amazing job diagnosing and fixing the problem. They had to take the whole shade down, take out the old motors, install the new motors, reinstall the shade, and reprogram the remote. It was getting late, and I had to leave for a family dinner, but they stayed as the sun was setting to get the job done. They sent me the attached video to let me know that everything was completed successfully. WOW!!! Awesome service.

I called (txt) the company at 10:30am to inquire whether the individual was going to show up, and they mentioned that the technician would not be showing up due to car issues. I understand that issues arise, such as car issues, that might impede someone from making their appointment, but as a Company and professional they should have sent me a notification advising this. It took me reaching out to the Company to get an answer. I took time off work, to meet with this individual, hours from work and income loss that I won't get back. In my opinion, this was very unprofessional. The Company propose to re-schedule the appointment, but I declined as this would mean I would need to take more time of work, on another date, to meet for an appointment that they didn't make the first go around. My trust is broken at this point and I will pass on any future services.

Bart came in November 2023 at 5:30pm (he works hard!) and had all the latest laser gadgets to get exact measurements. He stayed for a few hours because I had a hard time deciding what type of window covering to get but was so patient with me and even ran five separate proposals with pricing for me. Once we decided, he warned us that it'll take months for the window coverings to be made and 3 months later we got a call to schedule installation. Oscar and another installer (I'm sorry I can't remember his name but he was awesome with the tech set up) came in March 2024 and made sure to call ahead before arriving, put shoe coverings on before entering, and were so friendly. They were quick with their work and offered to wait to ensure all the shades were connected to the gateway before they left. While they were there, we noticed one of the shade covers was slightly defective so Oscar ordered a replacement right away. It took another month to arrive and Fernando came to swap out the defective blind in less than 15 minutes. Every person I spoke to at Rebarts (estimator, salespeople, scheduler, installers) were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. It's obviously a family business that spends the time to train their employees and cares about their customers. Finally, I know it's almost ridiculous to have to point this out but stay with me...they didn't send me the final invoice until the job was completely done (i.e., after the defective shade was replaced). I'm working with a window company and they've been hassling me to make my final payment even though I've pointed out that the sliding patio door they installed was defective. While they agree that the door is defective, they said they've done their job of installing and the defective door is manufacturer's problem so they should get paid. Clearly they lack pride in their work but Rebarts does not. I would definitely recommend Rebarts to anyone.
