I've been here a ton of times since their reopening! The dining room is open and ready to feed you silly! Nice colors, comfortable seating. Pleasant and helpful staff. No liquor license. We've had their Chicken Sorrentino, such a delicious brown sauce, sauteed chicken layered nicely w/breaded eggplant and prosuito, w/just the right amount of diced red peppers . Zuppa d'Pesche, chock full of the sea's delights, and a rich red sauce to make Grandma proud!! The Tuscany, w/either chicken or sausage, or both! Flavors just grab onto your tastebuds and won't let go! Pasta Fazool, don't let my not knowing how to spell it fool you into thinking I haven't had it before! No matter how much food we order, my hubby always has to order it, no matter where we go! Joe's soup is thick, almost a buttery creamy-ness, with a beautiful hint of roasted garlic!! Salads come w/the dinners and they're always fresh, crunchy and delightful. Try their housemade vinaigrette w/it! I never get past their cannoli to try their other desserts, but my friends children let me have a taste of their chocolate, and cherry, Italian ices and they too were perfectly flavorful!! I look no place else for my pies, and now the two spots I go for Italian food have to take a backseat to the Rubino Boys! Not only is the pizza is delicious but the service is phenomenal. I went to the restaurant about a month ago with my family and we were treated with the royal status. The food is the best and I am pretty picky. Salads are the bomb....all fresh...like picked from the garden. House dressing awesome. All hot food dishes and soups are great. Pizza is ok. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is they really could spruce up the dining area a bit. I feel like I'm eating in a cafeteria. A little more ambience would be nice. And it's byob or wine which is not necessarily a bad thing but they don't have a liquor license. But the food is awesome! Had last night the fresh mozzarella and tomato over crostini. I read several great reviews on social media community pages. Let me just say the pizza is not very good at all but the garlic knots are absolutely disgusting. Inedible. Signs up offering specific desserts but they were out of 2/3 of them. TAKE DOWN THE TINY TAPED UP HANDWRITTEN SIGN. I wouldn't return for a water bottle. I usually love this pizzeria, my family has been getting pizza from Nick since his pizzeria in Sound Beach. The other night (Wednesday night) I called in an order for a pie at 9 p.m. The person on the phone answered and was noticeably pissed off that someone had called in an order (I'm assuming because it was 9 o clock however they close at 10) and abruptly hung up on me before I could finish placing my order. I had to call back to let him know that I wanted garlic knots and he once again abruptly hung up on me. I called back to speak to Nick regarding how I was treated on the phone and this person would not put the manager on until I told him why. I then got into a big argument with a guy who I have never seen before who claimed to be Nicks brother. I have worked in the service industry for the last 12 years of my life, waiting tables, barbacking, bussing you name it. I have never experienced such a poor display of customer service. If you close at 10 and someone walks in at 9:50 you serve them. You don't give them an attitude because you want to go home. That's the nature of the business. If you don't like it, change your hours to 9. Needless to say I'll never go back, and it's a shame because the pizza really is good. read more

I was very pleased to see a new pizzeria come into the Miller Place area. After trying the pizza a few times and being pleased I decided I wanted to give their food a try. I purchased from restaurant.com an offer that stated 25 off of a purchase of 50 or greater. However when calling I was told this was incorrect and you needed to spend at least 100 in order to get 25 off. I was told this would not be honored and asked to speak to the owner for an explanation. I was told he was "too busy" to get on the phone and explain. I never would have purchased the offer if that was the case. Any business that is only there for a few weeks should in no way shape or form be "too busy" to get on the phone and talk to a customer. Well , Rubino's I am now "too busy", to spend my money in your restaurant. Perhaps there is a reason why this place went out of business several years ago. Due to the lack of customer service I will not be returning and I hope that I can help spare someone else the trouble that I had experienced. F.Y.I. , there are several other pizza places in the surrounding area, that value their customers and bend over backwards to please their customers. I look forward to see if in 6 months if this place is still "too busy" to value customers. read more

Worst Italian food I have ever had. The sauce was a bowl of sugar and salt awful. The wine couldn't possibly be any cheaper tasted like soda pop and the chicken was some kind of mystery meat. The lights where so bright they hurt my eyes. Over all a not so nice experience. The waitress was very nice and efficient . Everyone was friendly to bad about the food. read more

Got my first pie tonight and it was the best everything pie!!!! My husband is very picky about pizza and after three slices later the verdict was in. He loved it!!! Definitely looking forward to trying other pies and dishes. Wonderful addition to our Miller Place community. read more

Based on several recommendations from people, we decided to try Rubino's....best move we have made. The pizza was fresh, delicious and served as huge slices. We were able to sit in their beautiful dining room. Neat, clean and good service. used to really love rubino's in sound beach. unfortunately haven't had the chance to try the new location's food. called in an order for delivery, the woman taking the order was really rude over the phone, hung up on us while we were mid-sentence, and never gave us a total. we had to call back to ask for the total and asked her to read the order back and it was wrong. said it would be an hour. two hours later, still no food. we wound up calling back to cancel and doing something else. I work in customer service so I have very little tolerance for rudeness off the bat; and if it were one thing or the other id let it slide. but to be rude on the phone and ALSO have your delivery an hour off is unacceptable. read more

After hearing all the good reviews we stopped there the other night and sat in the dining area. Appetizer took about 40 minutes to come out and it was very disappointing, calamari that was obviously frozen. We had somewhere to go so after 60 minutes of waiting and still no main course we just asked them to give us our dinners to go.
