I went here for lunch with the better half and was actually impressed with the surf and turf bowl I got. Sorry I didn't let the phone eat haha. We were rushing and wanted to grub. It was filled with asada and plenty of shrimp. Also had rice beans and topped with garnishes to make the flavor pop! I come here frequently for lunch. They're always nice and take your order. Pretty standard for me. The food has always been consistent. I get the fish tacos and battered shrimp tacos. They don't skimp out at all. They load it. It's generally pretty busy during lunch time but I always manage to find a seat either inside or outside. I have been to a couple of Rubio's throughout my life in which all were at separate locations. I never found a location to be loyal to, but this specific Rubio's might have changed that. I ordered the Mexican Street Corn Chicken Burrito and I found it to be tastier and more authentic than some local Mexican restaurants I have been to recently. The tortilla was warmed nicely and had a nice flavor while being light. The chicken tasted made to order and had nice flavor. The rice was cooked right and had a surprising lime flavor that brought the whole burrito together. In terms of the corn, I didn't get much of that "street corn" flavor nor vibe. I couldn't really taste the Cotija cheese which was unfortunate. Other than that, the burrito was great and held together as I ate it. The meal came with tortilla chips, they were close to being your typical restaurant tortilla chips but I would say with a level up. The chips had a nice crisp and crunch (yes those are different things), lightly salted, were a little too greasy for my liking, but they had me wanting more. The meal itself with a drink is on the pricy side for what you get, but with how the economy has been I'm not surprised. The overall restaurant itself has a great atmosphere while being very clean, organized, and modern. The employees all had a positive attitude, were very nice, patient, and quick to make my order without sacrificing quality. I did manage to forget my phone at my table and one employee came out of the restaurant in a hurry to give it to me before I could get to my car. I wish I got her name so I could shout her out. Overall, if you've been having a bad experience with Rubio's lately or if you've never been to one, I highly recommend this location. read more

Came to this Rubios during a lunch time. The staff here works very fast and efficiently to serve customers. They are very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered a couple of their gourmet salads like the chop salad. The lunch special has a chicken salad special with soda for under $10. Great deal fir awesome healthy food. The chop salad had a great flavored dressing especially when you add some salsa. The grilled fish tacos were also delicious as usual. The Argentina shrimp packs lots of great flavor. I never get tired of this food chain! It's delicious and fresh and there really isn't anything on the menu that I disagree with. Once arriving parking is pretty decent. It is shared with various other businesses so parking is vast. Once arriving to the business it is easy to locate since it's directly in the corner. Once arriving inside I was quickly greeted by the staff and was stated the specials of that day. The menu was directly up top and was easy to read. I ended up ordering the California Bowl and a shrimp taco. Once I was seated my food came quick and the presentation was great! The food was a great temperature and the taste was amazing as usual. The food was incredible as always. My wife and I split a steak especial burrito and a couple original fish tacos. The steak was well seasoned and the proportions of the other burrito elements were perfect as always. The fish tacos remained crispy even after the car ride home. To top it all off (literally) the salsas were perfect; our favorites are the salsa verde and the roasted chipotle . Even better than the food was the staff. Their service was impeccable. Despite it being close to closing they took their time making the food ensuring a peefect cool and accurate order delivery. Superb service. This is my go-to rubios location. Their food is always the freshest and most delicious. I'm a big fan of the California bowl with chicken and roasted salsa. It's healthy and super filling. The chicken is always perfectly cooked and the guacamole is fresh. Ask to add brown rice and quinoa so it's even more nutritious. The inside is always clean but there is no dine-in inside, but they do allow you to eat on their outdoor patio. Take-out is available as well. read more

I got the chipotle honey Argentinean shrimp burrito and was basically all rice and beans with three shrimp at the bottom, one pickled onion and about a teaspoon of guacamole. No exaggeration, I wish I took a picture. Online it is advertised much differently. Not worth the price! The restaurant must be skimping on ingredients and filling items with cheaper food. I've been here a few other times to get the California bowl and it was okay although noticeably less food provided than other locations. I order online and there is a shelf to pick up food.
