While visiting family in Charlotte, I tried Ruby Sunshine while perusing some different breakfast items. I loveeeee the menu and concept of the restaurant. Food was delicious. However, I noticed that they may be quite overwhelmed handling the in-restaurant guests, from delivery. Most of my family here are elders, not much space for running to restaurants, that's why I order so much delivery orders. They forgot food items, and it's a bit annoying when dealing with trying to feed hungry elders. Food is great, but order accuracy is a must. I'm patient, because I work in food service myself. However: it's grind time in industry right now. It's a lot to handle, but we have to stay on our A-game, or make the moment right. Business has to keep flowing to keep guests happy, and for business to flow smoothly. Also the reason for 4 stars. Times are changing, accuracy on all levels is a must. I checked in as soon as I placed my name on the list. After waiting 1 hr and 45 min they finally text that our table was ready. We walk inside party of 2 there was a woman that walked in with me. She says to the hostess how long is the wait I put my name on yelp list the host asked how many was in her party she said 3 the hostess did her job and said ok I checked you in on yelp there is a....her coworker chimes in and says oh you can just come with me she immediately gives her a table after my tail waited here for 1 hr and 45 min I said ok let me look at the list there was 30 plus people waiting. Food: haha haha nothing like Louisiana I can tell you that I ordered eggs taste like powdered eggs, chicken sausage I'm going to assume they were frozen and warmed up in the microwave for 30 seconds because they were stale and cold, fruit not good at all I actually think someone bit one of the pieces of cantaloupe the water was tap not surprised. Husbands mimosa he said was not good I was over it and didn't even bother trying it Service: our waiter was nice however I was already disappointed with the food but he wants to make sure I have a great experience and leave with a smile. I wanted to visit this restaurant because I heard great reviews and unfortunately it was a disappointment. I walked in solo & grabbed a seat at the bar. There was a long wait for tables. I was not greeted by the one bartender she was very rude "Tiffany". The male bartender Denarius was phenomenal, and took care of me start to finish. I was at the last seat near the well & the server station. The things that were coming out of Tiffany's mouth about the servers and in general were mind blowing. Very unprofessional and she was extremely rude. If she doesn't want to be positive & have a good attitude she definitely shouldn't be working in the industry. I used to manage bars/nightclubs and to be honest if I heard that stuff I would have fired her on the spot. I get everyone is short staffed right now but that's not an excuse. The peacemaker dish is the bomb dot com! Our server ordered it for my husband who couldn't decide on what to get on their delicious menu.
