    Love beef noodles

Great for kids and moms! My kids love the dry dishes and boba, and I prefer soupy dishes. The staff were super friendly and recommended the beef noodle soup -- warm, comforting, and delicious Perfect spot where kids are happy and moms don't have to compromise. Highly recommend when you shopping in the mall

3 entree plate with noodles. The jalapeño chicken was great and the mushroom chicken the winner. The noodles were average, but still good.

Took a trip to the mall today to buy some more Legos for my grandson. Went to the food court for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. My grandson had a corn dog and fries at hot dog on a stick. It hit the mark. For me, I branched out and got the 3 entree plate at Ruby Thai Kitchen. I had some noodles, Jalapeño Chicken, Spicy Thai Chicken, and some mushroom chicken. Each of the dishes were well prepared and had good flavor. The service was excellent. In fact, the staff gave out little samples that actually made me stop at the location. There were a lot of food choices, so this strategy did work. As for ambience, it's a mall, so it is what it is....but the tables were clean and that is always appreciated. It was a good lunch, healthy portion, with good flavor. For mall food, it was a satisfying lunch stop.

Service was awful and the food portions were decreased. Food quality also decreased and it felt like I was eating feces. Never going back here again, and plus panda express is better than your Chinese establishment

I can only say that we like their bobas. Tried taro and mango. It is a hit for us. Service nice. Lots of chairs and tables as they are located at the heart of mall food court.

    Yummy meal to share!

My favorite place to go when we're at the Food Court at Roseville Galleria. Been here a few times with family members and we usually buy some food at an establishment and then put it in the middle for us to share. This has been my favorite. Can grab some vegetables, noodles and meats all in one place. They'll give you half chow mein and half pad thai too! Free samples too!

Horrible customer service from the lady in the orange. Who's most likely in charge.

I hate to write this review because I've loved coming here for a year with my boyfriend because we work at the movie theater next-door. We have been ordering the same thing for the last year. Me and my boyfriend always get the chicken fried rice and they give us a pretty big plate for a good amount. We've always split that between the two of us. Today as he got off of work, he knew I wasn't feeling good today and decided to surprise me by doing something nice by ordering our favorite from this place. He told me to wait in the car so he could surprise me, but then apparently when he first ordered we were given just plain fried rice. No protein or chicken like we usually get and it was in a small size. Which is fine he told me he would go back and get the correct thing for us. So the second time he ordered he was trying to explain to them what we've been ordering for the last year, and I guess the lady/manager was being very rude and disrespectful to him. Telling him that he need to say "fresh chicken fried rice" How he was in the wrong and ordered the wrong thing and didn't want to give him a refund/remake. So she decided to charge him 7.99 for a scoop of chicken on the side. My boyfriend told me that he was really stressed out because this lady was making a scene and basically saying that he was an idiot, and that he ordered the wrong thing. I then had to get out of my car and proceeded to talk to the lady/manager. Very nicely because I'm not the kind of person to be mean back, even when they're mean. I politely told her we are just trying to get the correct item our chicken fried rice, and how I don't understand why she's giving my boyfriend such a hard time and being completely disrespectful to him in front of all these people when he was just trying to do something nice for me because I didn't feel well. She then started to laugh at me and tell me that he was in the wrong again, and that I needed to say "fresh chicken fried rice" instead of chicken fried rice??... I politely told her I understand the confusion, but we've never had this problem up until now we've never had to say fresh chicken fried rice, so I just was trying to understand her part, and she then proceeded to swear at me in her language and would walk away very rudely and told me that she can just remake the order then. at that point. I didn't want to get my order remade because she charged my boyfriend $13 for a meal that she didn't even want to refund or a remake up until I was trying to politely have a conversation with her but she decided to handle it very disrespectfully and mock me in front of all of these people. I don't understand why she need to act like that. I told her that wasn't very professional or nice of her and my boyfriend certainly didn't need to get that attitude when he was just trying to do something nice so we ended up getting a remake, but I will definitely not be coming back or making my boyfriend come back here with how rude she was. It doesn't seem like she has a nice bone in her body and didn't even want to try to understand or listen to me as I was being nice to her... So be aware customers, nobody deserves to be treated like that especially when we're trying to understand what we want to order she shouldn't be having to make people feel like crap about it. I'm very sad/mad I won't be coming here anymore for the way she treated us. Please do better!!

Pad Thai - do not recommend
    Jennifer H.

Pad Thai was more of a chow mein and did not taste like Pad Thai at all. But what do you expect from mall food. I gave 2 stars because at least they gave quick service and big portions.

Mango chicken, bbq chicken, fried rice.

Their interior design and artwork is probably the best I've seen in Roseville. Bountiful crayons and coloring for kids - convenient for parents! Every item we ordered was absolutely muy fantastico! Love that you can specify spice levels 1-4 for many of their food selections. Personally, I feel level 2 spice is our sweet spot (we tried 3 and it was a bit too much). My take? 1 Mild spicy, 2 Moderate spicy, 3 Very spicy, 4 Killer hot spicy. Our mix this visit - MTK money bags, pad thai with shrimp (no spice), pineapple fried rice with shrimp (no spice), panang curry with chicken (spice level 3 - bit much for us), thai iced tea (1 dine in free refill! Not for takeout though), sticky rice, and beef salad (least favorite, not worth the price tag IMO). Excellent Thai food and absolutely worth a visit for foodie lovers locally! Probably not worth going far out of your way but great spot to satisfy your Thai cravings if you're in the area.

I ordered the Pad Mee Kow or Drunken Noodles with Beef just based off Yelp photos. I don't normally order this dish, but it's the best I've had. Noodles intact and not stuck together. Lots of beef. Not the most tender meat, so maybe pork would be better. On my next lunch visit, I ordered Pad Ka Prow with Ground Pork & Brown Rice and a small Crystal Noodles Soup. You can choose a spice level from 1 (mild) to 5 (most spicy). I chose level 3, but I probably would be happier with level 1 or 2. Choice of jasmine rice or brown rice. I enjoyed the chewy texture and appearance of the brown rice. Pad Ka Prow is tasty. I loved the Crystal Noodles Soup. It's seasoned well with lots of ingredients, like chicken, wood ear mushrooms, and Napa cabbage. There are 5 different soups that you can order as a Small portion, including Tom Yum, Tom Kha, and Wonton Soup. I look forward to trying more soups. I liked the ambiance, pretty Thai decor, muted green dining room, and easy listening music, often love songs. Thai Basil would be a good restaurant for a date. On Sundays, she's in the kitchen cooking and turning out amazing dishes as well! Last Sunday I brought vegetarian family over for lunch and we ordered my goto safe and tasty silver noodles. It is made of mung bean which gives this clear noodle look and quite chewy. The flavor is a good balance of sweet and savory but not spicy at all unless you tell them to. Wife had their spring rolls and kids had drunken noodles no spicy. They are very accommodating with all sorts of requests like no eggs no onion no garlic etc and wanting soft tofu rather than fried tofu. I saw how many new specials they have plastered on the window and inside entrance, I knew I had to bring my parents over this Sunday! We came in today and order the crying tiger. We do wish it to be rarer for more soft texture but the flavor was great. My parents liked the ocean in love with the lobster tail, shrimp, and scallops over spiced veggies. The BBQ pork ribs was another safe choice of mild and savory Sweet flavor while the meat was tender. I didn't try the tom yum shrimp fried rice but my parents liked it as it has coconut flavor and it was literally a mountain of fried rice! Spicy though and I had to refrain while letting my GI heal from recent injury. Upon placing the orders, the owner quickly came out to see if it was really us! That's how we found out she cooks in the kitchen as well when she is needed in there. Always a pleasure and loving the innovation of new dishes. We also love their curry puffs! My 6th Visit... and Apparently I'm Not Allowed to Go to Thunder Valley Without Stopping Here! …read more Every time I'm anywhere near Thunder Valley Casino, I somehow "accidentally" drag my family and friends to Orchid Thai Restaurant. This is already my 6th visit, so at this point, I think I'm basically part of the furniture! I absolutely LOVE the ambience here. The place has such a beautiful Thai vibe cozy, relaxing, and just the right amount of fancy without making you feel like you need to whisper. The service is fast and wonderful, which is always a huge plus when everyone at the table is already staring at the menu like they haven't eaten in three days. Now let's talk about the FOOD! My all-time favorite is their authentic Pad Thai Seafood Combination. Seriously, this is the dish that keeps me coming back. The flavors are on point, the seafood combination is delicious, and that sweet-savory Thai flavor hits exactly where it needs to hit! I also LOVE their fried tofu. Crispy, tasty, and dangerously easy to keep eating even after you tell yourself, "Okay, just one more." My friend absolutely loved the huge Coconut Chicken--and when I say huge, I mean HUGE! He also attacked the spring rolls and somehow finished them in about 10 minutes. At that point, I wasn't sure if he was eating dinner or competing in the Olympics. And of course, we had to get the Pineapple Fried Rice. Another table favorite! Sweet, savory, flavorful, and just plain delicious. Then comes dessert: Mango Sticky Rice. YUM YUM! The perfect way to finish the meal. Honestly, by the time dessert arrives, I'm already full, but somehow my stomach suddenly develops a separate dessert department. After SIX visits, I can confidently say this place is one of my go-to Thai restaurants whenever I'm in the area. Great food, generous servings, beautiful ambience, and wonderful service. So yes... every time I'm near Thunder Valley, I'm probably going to drag somebody here again. Orchid Thai, you've officially become part of my Thunder Valley tradition! See you again soon!
