First time here - everything was clean and ample seating. We were greeted immediately and were advised to order up front prior to seating. It took a while to figure out what to order, but we ended up getting: Fresh Rolls Tom Yum Pad see ew Rad nah Thai Fried Rice Kra Pow Kai Dow Rad Nah Way too much food for a party of 5. After being seated, the food arrived in a timely manner. There was however an issue with one plate we had ordered that did not come (we ended up cancelling it). The food itself? The presentation was great. There was however no consensus on the enjoyment of the multiple dishes. A big mix of meh/okay/good. I think a lot of it had to do with any dishes with chicken - the chicken in a few dishes were a tad bit too dry. We requested for all dishes to be mild (just in case), and one of the dishes was extremely spicy for some of the party. And they are giving a decent sized portion of rice now (was very small when they first opened). Pad thai continues to be excellent - not too sweet and a lot of chicken. It was not bland at all, the chicken was not over cooked and still moist adding to its perfection. The only downside or complaint was the portion size. Then, we ordered the drunken noodle with ground chicken and the Thai boat noodles. The flavors were just absolutely amazing!!!! Just enough salt, garlic, spice. The boat noodles had a sweetness to it but if you add the dried chili and chili oil, it will balance it out. They are very generous with the portions too. The inside is nice and clean. I've heard good things about this place for a while now. My favorite place is Ruen Thai in Roseville but it's too far for me now that we moved. I finally decided to try it. Wanted a break from life and so we decided to go in and have a relaxing meal. I should have read the reviews better. The set up looked nice but was confusing. Tables set with menus on them. They greet you and tell you to take a seat. But then tell you ordering is done at the counter. Well. I don't want to sit down and get back up? It just seems odd to not be full service with menus on tables. So unfortunately I did not get a relaxing meal. I ordered my food, got my own water, they brought out my food, and I got my own condiments, to go box, and bag. The food however was surprisingly good and flavorful. Flavors well balanced. Portion sizes pretty standard, I felt the red curry was a bit skimpy with ingredients. I'd do take out and doordash from here, but probably wouldn't come in to eat again. This is a totally casual place located in a strip mall at Blue Oaks and Fiddyment. You order at the front and take seat. Don't fret this isn't a fast food restaurant...the food comes out hot and delicious. The staff are friendly and the place stays pretty busy between take out orders and dine in. There is an outdoor patio with a dog house outside. We tried the sampler appetizer which I recommend, had the chicken pad Thai, fried rice with the crispy white meat chicken, and the Thai ice tea. I realized I had not ever reviewed it so I'm going to do so now we have had sitdown dinner there right after they opened and both times I have been extremely pleased with the food! This evening when we got takeout, we got fresh spring rolls, some basil, chicken and pad see ew. Everything tasted delightful and fresh just the right level of spice! The peanut sauce for the spring roll dip was awesome. It had a nice little kick to it for dessert. I got mango with sticky rice, which is such a treat if I were to say anything negative it was that The rice was green in the dessert and I'm not sure why? I was sitting in front of the counter, just a few feet away, and I could clearly see that my order was already finished and just sitting there. And yet -- nobody said a word. We asked for a spice level of 2 on a scale of 0 to 5, but neither seemed spiced at all, so we used the available tasty condiments to customize adding more spice. I believe they were a fish sauce with cut up chilies, a chili garlic sauce, & a dry spice mix. They also had bottles of Sriracha. The food was nicely presented, came freshly cooked & hot (which I love), & was delicious. Spicy Eggplant--cook on the veggies still left them with a good bite, pork was lean & tender, had a lot of sauciness to mix into the rice. I tried the Khao Soi - This is a rich creamy coconut, curry noodle soup from Northern Thailand. I am telling you the first bite was an explosion of fantastic flavors! I was pleasantly surprised! Wow I didn't not expect it to be so good! Each bite has a little bit of everything - crispy fried egg noodles,soft egg noodles, carrots, pickled mustard greens, shallots, lime, and cilantro. You'll taste the creamy,coconut first and then the aromatic spice will linger in the back of your throat. The mild spice level was just right. The star of this dish was the soup! Great Local Thai Restaurant in West Roseville There have been more food options popping up in this Plaza at Blue Oaks so we went to go see what are new. We tried Sisters Thai Kitchen for the first time. A little confusing because there were menus already at the tables leading us to believe that it was a table service restaurant but it wasn't because we had to place our order at the front counter. Just FYI. The menu had a nice variety of entrees, curry and street-style Thai food, not too crazy on the selections. We ordered Pad Se Ew w/ Fried Tofu and Fried Rice w/ Crispy Chicken Breast. The portions were big and ate half of the serving of that fried rice and chicken. It was pretty good. The noodles on the Pad Se Ew was a little mushy but my hubby was okay with it and cleaned out his plate. Food is above average. The owner mentioned that this was their second location. The first is on Lonetree Blvd in Rocklin by a different name. I didn't ask what it was but we're glad to have another delicious option closer to home in West Roseville. Food: i love their pad thai but it suck that they dont put any ground nuts, sprouts or eggs !!! Their basil fried rice is pretty good. Service here are always on point, very attentive and helpful and always greet us with welcoming smile. However I noticed the OWNER doesnt like any customized orders. For example: i asked the server if we can have the padthai xtra sauce so is not too dry. And the response is " oh no we cant do that ! The cook only knows what they know !! " What kinda restaurant is this ???? Lol. I also over heard my next table asked about their orders , something about taste bland, and the OWNER said " thats what it supposed to taste !! " Lord ... What kinda business owner is this person. ?? No customer service or even trying to make the situation better. ! Ambiance: nice n clean restaurant. We probably coming back again. I previously gave this restaurant a five stars and defended it from another giving it less star rating. However, even I have to now lower the rating not for the great and very authentic Thai cuisine that continues since its opening barely two years ago, but service is uneven which was the main critique from a couple of other YELP reviewers. This evaluatiion is worth sharing because prices are either the same or maybe even more when comparing similar menu choices from other Thai restaurants of which I also patronize. For very similar prices, patrons enjoy full sit down service with complete utensils and other basic amenities. At Sisters Thai Kitchen, no fault of the wait staff as they can only do what the boss tell thems, we have to ask for water or stuck getting it ourselves. Some of their dishes need knives to cut bigger chunks of meats to small sizes. I am not inclined, because I was raised with refined table etiquette, to gobble meat sizes like an python or alligator with their huge wide jaws. I had to delay eating my duck entree to ask and wait for a blunt sharp knife. The one flimsy thin paper napkin soon required a fresher replacement. I again had to get up to help myself to another napkin because it was faster than asking and waiting for the servers who were busy. I also had to delay drinking my glass of water, lukewarm, to ask and wait to get a straw; or the other option of getting up again to get my own straw. My current diet needs includes avoiding processed bleached white rice, and choose brown rice for obvious healthier reasons. I paid under $3.00 for a scoop of brown rice. The portion of the duck entree I ordered seemed much smaller than from past visits. If the prices were even a bit lower for a semi self help service, I would not mind. But their prices are what many of us pay for sit down table service at most restaurants including other Thai and other Asian eateries in this county. However, I will declare that their food is authentic, fresh prepared and delicious. Even meats that can be tougher in other restaurants, are always fork tender. I just needed a knive because the duck pieces were too big to just use a fork. Not all of us living in this region eat like cave dwellers. And at these prices, better basic table service should be included everytime. read more

It comes with the best peanut sauce anywhere! (I always ask for extra peanut sauce; a small size is free.) And the Tom Kha coconut milk soup with chicken and shrimp... fantastic (low spice for me)! I should be more adventurous trying other items, but I love those so much that I always reorder. My sons have tried more items and love it all. The food is always fresh. We only get "to go," but the restaurant looks very relaxing, casual, and is always clean. Nice owners and staff too! read more

Lovely dining area, bright and clean. Very nice! Panang curry is my go-to order . Theirs was delish. A nice amount of fresh veggies and sliced chicken... and the perfect amount of medium heat. Paid extra for the basil but was hardly any. The Pineapple Fried Rice was the worst. It looked off color, leftover from another day and the pineapple had no taste. I cannot begin to explain how remarkable the food and service was at this magnificent restaurant. When we walked in the server was so attentive and wonderful and was totally there for all of our needs. Our server Danny even gave us a gluten free menu that they had there because me and my sister have gluten restrictions. I couldn't even believe that they had a gluten free menu it was such a pleasant surprise that made our experience even better. I absolutely loved their yellow curry, pineapple fried rice, and fresh rolls were delicious . The owner is so thoughtful and had a gluten free menu as her daughter has a gluten allergy and the menu isn't just a small menu almost all items on the regular menu are on it and can be made gluten free with no cross contamination. Being a dog owner herself she even has a beautiful outdoor patio with a doghouse with freshly refilled water for your dog. Their Thai tea is absolutely yummy I added some water because I don't like things too sweet but amazing tea. Their spice scale isn't too spicy even the 5 spicy level isn't that spicy and it's so flavorful. The atmosphere is so inviting perfect for a calm lunch with friends or a tasty dinner. The workers were so respectful and one was missing an ingredient for my Thai iced coffee and even offered a drink refund if I didn't want to replace it. Tucked in the Raley's ONE center, this is a gem of a Thai food restaurant. Good sized dining floor with all tables, lots of windows and a large outdoor dining area when the weather permits. Interior is bright and very clean. We ordered the larb salad, pad thai, and the panang curry with pork (which comes with rice). All were very very good. We like our thai food spicy, and we could have asked for both dishes to be even spicier. I think they are catering to the local patrons, who may not be able to take the heat so to speak. The servers were very efficient and friendly. Ning, the owner came around to chat with all the diners which I really like. She spent a good amount of time with us to fill us in on her endeavors. Super friendly woman. If there is one aspect to this restaurant that I do not care for, you go to a table to look at the menu, then have to get up and go up to the counter to place your order.
