This sweet Thai restaurant is now on our regular radar for returning. The food was delicious and fresh. I usually want drunken noodles at a Thai restaurant and of course we did order here as well. I wish they were a little spicier and will order better next time when it comes to spice level. You order at the counter and the food is delivered freshly prepared. Ordered for pick-up for Spicy Eggplant (no meat) , Crab Rangoon, Steamed Rice and Roti. Quality has changed and Egg Plant had more onions than Eggplant. The Crab Ragoons are made with thick dough deep fried which is heavy terrible taste not using light phyllo dough rice paper that was light and crispy before. Very disappointing, haven't ordered from them in about a eight months and "will not order again". Food use to be better quality and tasted the difference. Probably cutting back on previous ingredients used and quality is suffering. Cost is probably to high to keep up. It's getting like this at several restaurants I've been to. read more

Yummy food. Nice employees. So-so dining room. We ate: Thai chicken salad. Drunken noodles. Thai fried rice. We drank: Thai lime ice tea. Flavors are fresh. Low in oil. Salad was my favorite. Thai lime ice tea is the real deal. 45 minutes after dinner I've got a good caffeine buzz going. Routine is order at the counter, pay. Get a table number placard. The wait for the food is just a short time. Salad was delivered to table in less than five minutes. I ordered all dishes to be 1 on the spicy scale. There was no hint of any chile heat at all. Next time I'll order 2 or 3 for spicy level. Dining room is bright and airy but housekeeping needs improvement. Boxes of supplies are stacked against one wall. One of the dining room tables is obviously the business office. Papers all over the table top. Prices for the good quality of the food are fair, though not bargain cheap. My folks and relatives came by and we wanted Thai Food during lunch time on a weekday around noon and fortunately, there was one within a 10 minute drive. First time here - everything was clean and ample seating. We were greeted immediately and were advised to order up front prior to seating. It took a while to figure out what to order, but we ended up getting: Fresh Rolls Tom Yum Pad see ew Rad nah Thai Fried Rice Kra Pow Kai Dow Rad Nah Way too much food for a party of 5. After being seated, the food arrived in a timely manner. There was however an issue with one plate we had ordered that did not come (we ended up cancelling it). The food itself? The presentation was great. There was however no consensus on the enjoyment of the multiple dishes. A big mix of meh/okay/good. I think a lot of it had to do with any dishes with chicken - the chicken in a few dishes were a tad bit too dry. We requested for all dishes to be mild (just in case), and one of the dishes was extremely spicy for some of the party. Have been to Sisters several times since the original review - food and service continue to be very good. The massaman curry is delicious and came out piping hot. And they are giving a decent sized portion of rice now (was very small when they first opened). Pad thai continues to be excellent - not too sweet and a lot of chicken. Shrimp Pad Thai, Chicken Satay and Tom Kha Gai soup delivered tonight and everything was excellent. Did the 1* spice level again for the Pad Thai and this time it was much more toned down than our first trip here, just a nice lingering heat. It was not bland at all, the chicken was not over cooked and still moist adding to its perfection. The only downside or complaint was the portion size. Came here for dinner tonight with my bestie and it was soooooo delicious! Reminded me of Thailand. We ordered the Pad Kra Prow with ground pork and it came with rice and a fried egg. Then, we ordered the drunken noodle with ground chicken and the Thai boat noodles. The flavors were just absolutely amazing!!!! Just enough salt, garlic, spice. The boat noodles had a sweetness to it but if you add the dried chili and chili oil, it will balance it out. They are very generous with the portions too. The inside is nice and clean. Tried Sisters for the first time. Walked in and was told to seat ourselves. No one came to take our order. After asking to take the order, we were asked to order and pay at the counter. I ended up adding a tip before knowing what service I was to be provided. The concept doesn't make any sense to me. The flavor of the food was ok but the portion is way too small. I was sitting in front of the counter, just a few feet away, and I could clearly see that my order was already finished and just sitting there. And yet -- nobody said a word. No one called my name, no one checked on me, no one even acknowledged that I was there. I waited for about 10 minutes hoping someone would finally notice me, but I was basically treated like I was invisible. Only after I walked up and asked myself did they finally hand me the order, with zero interest or professionalism. Completely unacceptable customer service. The food wasn't much better. It was very average at best. The meat in my dish was tough, poorly cooked, bland, and almost flavorless. Honestly, even the worst restaurant in Thailand serves better Thai food than this. I've heard good things about this place for a while now. My favorite place is Ruen Thai in Roseville but it's too far for me now that we moved. I finally decided to try it. Wanted a break from life and so we decided to go in and have a relaxing meal. I should have read the reviews better. The set up looked nice but was confusing. Tables set with menus on them. They greet you and tell you to take a seat. But then tell you ordering is done at the counter. Well. I don't want to sit down and get back up? It just seems odd to not be full service with menus on tables. So unfortunately I did not get a relaxing meal. I ordered my food, got my own water, they brought out my food, and I got my own condiments, to go box, and bag. The food however was surprisingly good and flavorful. Flavors well balanced. Portion sizes pretty standard, I felt the red curry was a bit skimpy with ingredients. I'd do take out and doordash from here, but probably wouldn't come in to eat again. This is a totally casual place located in a strip mall at Blue Oaks and Fiddyment. You order at the front and take seat. Don't fret this isn't a fast food restaurant...the food comes out hot and delicious. The staff are friendly and the place stays pretty busy between take out orders and dine in. There is an outdoor patio with a dog house outside. We tried the sampler appetizer which I recommend, had the chicken pad Thai, fried rice with the crispy white meat chicken, and the Thai ice tea. This great place is around the corner from my son's house and we just got takeout the other day. I realized I had not ever reviewed it so I'm going to do so now we have had sitdown dinner there right after they opened and both times I have been extremely pleased with the food! This evening when we got takeout, we got fresh spring rolls, some basil, chicken and pad see ew. Everything tasted delightful and fresh just the right level of spice! The peanut sauce for the spring roll dip was awesome. It had a nice little kick to it for dessert. I got mango with sticky rice, which is such a treat if I were to say anything negative it was that The rice was green in the dessert and I'm not sure why? Staff was welcoming, friendly, & helpful. They also wore colorful floral shirts! We ordered the Spicy Eggplant entree with pork, Pad Thai with crispy tofu, & an iced coffee. We asked for a spice level of 2 on a scale of 0 to 5, but neither seemed spiced at all, so we used the available tasty condiments to customize adding more spice. I believe they were a fish sauce with cut up chilies, a chili garlic sauce, & a dry spice mix. They also had bottles of Sriracha. The food was nicely presented, came freshly cooked & hot (which I love), & was delicious. Spicy Eggplant--cook on the veggies still left them with a good bite, pork was lean & tender, had a lot of sauciness to mix into the rice. Pad Thai--Tofu was in nice big chunks, noodles had a satisfying chew & were perfectly coated in sauce, a little sweeter than I've had at other places, but still so deliciously flavorful. Great Local Thai Restaurant in West Roseville There have been more food options popping up in this Plaza at Blue Oaks so we went to go see what are new. We tried Sisters Thai Kitchen for the first time. A little confusing because there were menus already at the tables leading us to believe that it was a table service restaurant but it wasn't because we had to place our order at the front counter. Just FYI. The menu had a nice variety of entrees, curry and street-style Thai food, not too crazy on the selections. We ordered Pad Se Ew w/ Fried Tofu and Fried Rice w/ Crispy Chicken Breast. The portions were big and ate half of the serving of that fried rice and chicken. It was pretty good. The noodles on the Pad Se Ew was a little mushy but my hubby was okay with it and cleaned out his plate. Food is above average. The owner mentioned that this was their second location. The first is on Lonetree Blvd in Rocklin by a different name. I didn't ask what it was but we're glad to have another delicious option closer to home in West Roseville. Came on a Wednesday. Not busy at all. Host asked if we wanted to order or have a seat with a menu and then come back to her and order. We ordered 4 dishes and a pot of tea. The total was only $76 before tip. What a deal! The tom kha was so good! You decide how spicy. Same with the pad Thai, spicy level 1-5. my friend chose 5 but I chose 2 or 3 for medium spicy. I tried the Khao Soi - This is a rich creamy coconut, curry noodle soup from Northern Thailand. I am telling you the first bite was an explosion of fantastic flavors! I was pleasantly surprised! Wow I didn't not expect it to be so good! Each bite has a little bit of everything - crispy fried egg noodles,soft egg noodles, carrots, pickled mustard greens, shallots, lime, and cilantro. You'll taste the creamy,coconut first and then the aromatic spice will linger in the back of your throat. The mild spice level was just right. The star of this dish was the soup! Service here are always on point, very attentive and helpful and always greet us with welcoming smile. However I noticed the OWNER doesnt like any customized orders. For example: i asked the server if we can have the padthai xtra sauce so is not too dry. And the response is " oh no we cant do that ! The cook only knows what they know !! " What kinda restaurant is this ???? Lol. I also over heard my next table asked about their orders , something about taste bland, and the OWNER said " thats what it supposed to taste !! " Lord ... It comes with the best peanut sauce anywhere! (I always ask for extra peanut sauce; a small size is free.) And the Tom Kha coconut milk soup with chicken and shrimp... fantastic (low spice for me)! I should be more adventurous trying other items, but I love those so much that I always reorder. My sons have tried more items and love it all. The food is always fresh.
