Try at all times to keep my business local but this place makes it hard to do so. Food was good but once again, order was late by almost 40 minutes. there were several waiting for their late orders also but wasn't even that busy. all kids working and witnessed the kid making the pizzas on his phone. another issue we have on a regular basis is that the order is not right or we are missing something. Really bad service and experience at rucks in honeoye falls. I called well in advance and ordered a garlic knots for my family. Pick up at 5. I was told that they always have slices on hand no need to order ahead of time can pick up when I come in. Pic below was an order of 5 knots - the one is really small. Same in the box of 10 At least 2 really small. None were warm. Very few slices available and only specialty slices. Picked what I could. Looking for cheese for kids. After I left I realized the slices were not heated up or cut. So much for take out and easy. Have to heat everything and had to make 2nd stop for cheese slices. Ridiculous! I have gone to Rucks for a long time...never again... old expression ..three strikes and you are out... went online recently to view their menu...to see what they had and to view prices.. went to order...was told only when ordered that prices went up.. 40 percent...ok...ordered according to menu online.. pizza came burnt completely on bottom... salad as not what I ordered...no ham ... no turkey...had olives and tomatoes.. ( I hate olives)...so wrong ingredients on salad..... the only positive thing I can say is that staff was friendly but everything was wrong... delivery prices went up to $5... of course you have to tip. ( it is not their fault that items were burnt and order was wrong) ...kept the burnt pizza in my refrigerator because I was going to go down and show them but life got busy and I threw it out... I am not the only person that has had a bad experience... my friends have had one too..sometimes you don't mind prices going up but if quality of food is bad as well..then you quit going ....buyer beware..prices online are not actual prices..they need to change online menu and let customers know that prices have changed...extremely..extremely disappointed and angry.. Our family has had some of the tastiest pizza, garlic knots and fish fries here. Our fish has appeared to be refried - with dark orange/tan coating thick with oil appearing on fish that is dry. Garlic knots are more consistent in taste/presentation but vary widely in size. Whoa to you late to the box - yours is likely to be donut hole size. The variety of pizza is amazing and creative - so much so that twice in one week we found no plain slices available. Our kids want cheese only pizza but are small enough that a whole pizza is too much. Trying to get cheese pizza slices at lunch hour is a rarely. I really wanted to like this pizza because it is local and I love supporting local. I thought the wings we had were flavorful. The pizza had a thin crust as requested but was very soggy in the center. The cheese is a blend. It is not as flavorful as mozzarella. It is chunky and breaks off in pieces as you bite into the pizza. It does not brown slightly as the pizza cooks, it was just melted. There is no "stringy" texture to it at all. Nice family owned pizza place in Honeoye Falls conveniently located in market plaza. Friendly staff who will get familiar with frequent customers. Seating area and decor is a bit dated, though still inviting atmosphere. Reasonable prices for pizza slices with good variety of topping options (one slice is two slices). Pizza is on the cheesier side (can get messy if fresh out of oven), while crust can get dry if slices are sitting out. There are garbage plates, called 585 plate for trademark reasons. Ordered this for delivery so I can't comment on the actual dining experience at the location. Received a meat lovers large pie with steak, capicola, sausage. The order arrived on time in accordance with how long I was told. Slices were cut nicely, not like Salvatore's who slice a round pie in squares. WTF ? Anyway, this was excellent and flavorful pizza, doe was not thin, but soft, meat was crispy. It was delicious. Had been hearing good things about Ruck's, so finally ordered some for delivery. It did not disappoint! It arrived still nice and hot. The crust was good (not the best ever, but very good) and the pizza was smothered generously in cheese and toppings. I got half pepperoni and was thrilled that it's the small good kind! What Ruck's has is your "Rochester-style" pizza: not thin like NYC, but not exactly Sicilian either. Sauce is good, but we all know what really makes a pizza is the crust. It's the perfect balance between crispy and chewy. The best part about this place is that they care. Hard to find these days. Evidence: I just ordered pepperoncini/banana peppers, and they actually remove the stems before coarsely chopping them. Good food, good people. Being from Buffalo I cannot find any pizza around here that compares but Rucks comes close. They always have a bunch of fun styles ready for lunch and their boneless wings are very tasty. Gotta recommend the golden BBQ sauce. It rocks. I wish they used better (not so thick) bread for their subs. read more

This has to be the best pizza shop that's existed in Lima. I Shared a pepperoni and onion pizza and wings recently and have come to that conclusion. The pizza isn't authentic but tastes good and looked very nice before it was devoured. Had a good ratio of cheese to crust to toppings except for I thought a few more onions would be on there considering how cheap they are. The wings were really good. You can tell the oil they use is changed frequently too because of how crisp and fresh the wings tasted. Also none of this "set-of-10 BS" that most places have converted to-- a solid dozen wings!! From what I understand is that the owner has branched off from Guida's which has gone COMPLETELY DOWNHILL and is now running the business very well in Lima. Like I said- one of the best pizza places in Lima to exist so give it a try. read more

For a pizza shop to mess up so badly on two of the most simple items a pizza shop can make is astounding I ordered a dozen mild wings, that were to be well down with buffalo mild sauce. It comes to me under cooked and with buffalo sauce that looks like it was splashed on in the box it came in. Second, I get a slice of pepperoni pizza. It was under cook, the cheese was like rubber and the crust tasted like it was frozen. I can't believe any the good reviews people have given this place, they must be relatives trying to hep this place out. My advice to the owners of Rucks would to close your shop and never make pizza again. read more

This place is KILLER. Love it here, my family and I live just down the road and it is our go-to place when we are craving some pizza. We had been skeptical of it because pizza places fly in and out of here - even being a small town. This place is to stay. Cute little sit - in place, their take out is also amazing. Rucks pizza is dependably good, but I recently ordered a sandwich and french fries and it was very disappointing. Everything was nice and hot, but the french fries were actually RUBBERY. How do you make french fries rubbery? Had they been in the freezer too long? I ordered a beef dip sandwich and the beef was dried out and leathery while the au jus was little more than flavorless brown water. I will definitely order pizza again, but I am done with sandwiches. read more
