Not the biggest fan of this location based on the service. I've gone a few times for pickup and we're not really greeted or even asked if we need anything we've had to find someone to assist. One of the times we thought they were closed because the door was locked but really you just had to go through the bar door. Employees did see us looking confused at the door and no one said anything so we had to figure it out ourselves because we could see there was people at the bar. I'm not even sure why I returned here. I had a bad experience a few years ago. The service was decent. Hostess greeted me on arrival. The food was a huge disappointment. My hard fried eggs that I requested well done were extremely runny once I cut them open. The biscuit was decent. The hash browns were horrible. I've had better at McDonald's. I believe this is the best of the 3 locations that I've visited. Location is clean, the staff is remarkably friendly and upbeat. Bartender was the rudest person I've ever met. We walked in and were told by the host we could sit at the bar. Keep in mind we came in at 9:45pm and the bartender says I already did last call...? Keep in mind Apple Maps says it doesn't close until midnight and she's saying oh well we close at 10 PM. Worst experience I've ever had. Absolutely terrible experience at Ruckus in Morrisville. I placed a food order for pickup at 11:20 PM and arrived shortly after to pick it up. When I got there, a white male bartender asked his co-worker (female with blonde hair) if there was any pickups and she replied slurred "no" and he rudely told me there were no pickup orders. I showed him my confirmation receipt, and instead of helping, he immediately got aggressive--yelling that he was the only one working and that the kitchen was closed. Mind you, his coworkers were nearby drinking alcohol and clearly not helping. Another man had to step in and calm the bartender down because he kept talking to me with an angry, unprofessional tone. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at Ruckus, and that says a lot because we're frequent customers. The staff was rude, aggressive, and clearly under the influence. This is NOT a family-friendly or safe environment, and I would NEVER recommend anyone come here. 0/10. Save your time, your money, and your peace. Well, the reviews are correct. So much potential, but the place just doesn't make it happen. We arrived Wednesday for the Trivia Bingo. It was supposed to start at 7:00. We were looking forward to it but also wanted an early night. Spoiler alert: they were still setting up at 7:18 when we left. The place was dirty like many of the reviews state. The place just needs a good scrubbing. Clean the menus, clean the tables better, everything just needs to be wiped down so you don't stick to it. As another reviewer stated, there was a bit of a smell- I'm guessing because the place just wasn't cleaned well. Ordered the buffalo chicken wantons. Meh. Not impressed. Would not order them again. I enjoyed my Philly steak sandwich and fries, although the bun was nothing special. My wife got the wings and they were fair. She remarked how the carrots were dry and white and looked like something she would throw out if they were in the fridge at home. The best part of the experience was Madeline, the server, who was polite, upbeat, and helpful. She checked in frequently and did a great job. She was the best part of the experience. I had a beer ( can't mess that one up) and my wife had a salted watermelon ultimate margarita. She didn't even drink half of it because it tasted like tequila and agave syrup and nothing else. Tl; dr: Perfect for groups thanks to a large menu and lots of seating options, friendly staff, and tasty food. Went on a Saturday afternoon to get some food before going to a soccer game. We were expecting it to be busy because there was a Courage game and Canes game happening that day, but we must have beat the crowd. We were seated at a booth and then promptly brought waters. The menu was extensive so we were given some time to look it over. We heard good things about their sushi so we wanted to try a roll, but we were in the mood for pizza so we got one too! The sushi roll was their equivalent of a rainbow roll and it was tasty! The sushi rice was prepared well, and the fish was fresh. Their tuna was tender which is something I look for in sushi-- I wasn't expecting it at a pizza place but I was pleasantly surprised. It's assembly was great too! Held up to chopsticks and was pieced nicely. The pizza came a few minutes after we finished the roll, which was good because we didn't want to mix hot cheese with sushi. The margherita pizza was very good! I wish we had dollops of mozzarella and bigger pieces of basil, but overall the flavor was great. Crust held up well while still allowing some droop when hot. The sushi came 20 minutes earlier than the pizza so he then had to wait forever to eat until my food came out Aswell. We ended up having to grab the manager to get my food. When we told Dixie the food was cold and we waited 45 minutes for it she just said sorry and walked away. No accommodation for the cold food. Came here first through Offline and had a great experience. I loved the pizza! Perfectly crispy but not burnt/overcooked crust, generous toppings, great flavor. I was pregnant at the time but tried a sip of my husband's painkiller (cocktail) and loved it. I couldn't wait to come back for one and did recently. The pizza was still excellent and I really enjoyed my painkiller! Our server was friendly and I love the covered outdoor area (especially since we have a newborn). The only downsides were it took awhile for us to be greeted and there were a lot of little spiders in the outdoor area that got on the stroller/on us. Ordered 1lb bone in wings(8-10) and personal pizza (10 inch pizza). I ordered Cajun wings with a side of rukus bbq sauce. I got wings that didn't have any flavor or seasoning at all. I assumed I would get half Cajun and half rukus bbq. Wings were bland I had to dip them in the bbq sauce so I'm glad it worked out that way. The pizza had no crust to hold to bite the pizza, pretty much sauce to the edges. Very disappointed the pics I seen looked nothing like the food I got. Wish I could've taken pics of the pizza, but wasn't much to look at. They also charged my card for a $2 tip 2 days later that I did not authorize. I paid online and picked my food up. This is a very popular restaurant and bar in Cary but is a little far away from us. We visited with a discount offer on a weekday evening. They were about to show Thursday night football and there was a good lively crowd there. Although our orders came very fast, I'd have to say they were okay but not great. The spring rolls were mostly lettuce and the "crab" was the imitation kind. My shrimp tacos were good (liked the extra guac) but my wife was disappointed in her sashimi tuna salad. She said the dressing was too salty, and the tuna strips were very long and needed to be cut. I do like the fact that the restaurant and owners are involved in the community and local charities. We came on a Tuesday night and was seated immediately. It was trivia night so it was a bit loud but otherwise our dining experience was fine. Our server was awesome! She made sure we always had enough sauce and frequently checked in with us. Food came out fast. The thing i was most disappointed with was the "Garlic" knots, as it was the top thing on their apps section. I figured you can't go wrong with garlic knots, right? I was wrong. They came out fresh and hot but the knots were super hard on the outside, overbaked and had absolutely no seasoning on or in them. It was literally just plain bread no trace of garlic flavor, or any flavor, at all. We order a burger and italian sandwich which wasn't bad.
