A friend recommended Rudy's Butcher Shop when I was looking for Tomahawk steaks for a family get-together. The selection of steaks is limited, but the quality of the meat and cuts are impressive. I purchased three Tomahawks (2 lbs) and took them to our gathering in Klamath Falls, OR. We freshly grilled them and gorged on some of the best beef I have tasted in many years. I drove to Salem with a pocket full of cash planning to leave with steaks for a special meal. I entered the store an was greeted by a man behind the counter, no mask. Why would I buy food in a store that doesn't respect health and sanitation regulations? I left and I won't be back. read more

Really clean little shop across from their Steakhouse. Pre-ordered and pre-paid for a Snake River Wagyu Prime Rib roast for Christmas. Came nicely shrink wrapped and with awesome extras including their own seasoned salt rub, au jus concentrate, and horseradish sauce. The meat was amazing, perfectly marbled, juicy, tender, and great flavor. Look forward to trying some of their other steaks and meats. Only loses one star because I had prepaid for a 5 pound roast, so assumed that they would have mine reserved under my name at the designated pick-up time. When I arrived they just had a random assortment of 4# marked roasts, they were able to find one that was 4.77 pounds and refunded for the difference but was really expecting exactly what I ordered since I ordered it 3 to 4 weeks ahead of time. read more
