I don't know why I go back to this place is so basic service is slow they only thing is the food come fast. Not the best quality food but the price is like a 5 star restaurant.

Great breakfast place ! Worth the wait . We were sat on the breakfast bar the Coffee Delicious . The girls working this place were on it refilling my coffee multiple times , LOVE THAT! Lots of people enjoying this place has sidewalk seating and sidewalk seating facing the ocean from a far to enough a view on a sunny day . I had the Harbor plate , chose sweet potato hash my first time trying it , it was little too sweet for me but at least I tried it :) .

Very cute place with bright blue paint We sat outside at one of their many tables. The also have outside booths but in true Little Italy fashion there was a homeless man and his dog camping there, so we chose a table. The have a counter area inside as well as tables and booths. We ordered orange juice, the French toast with a side of bacon. Orange juice was good with pulp. Toast was really good, crispy edges with a soft center. The bacon was crispy but still tender. It arrived cold which was disappointing. Service was adequate. They are dog friendly outside but didn't offer water. Parking is street parking with meters, if you can find it.

I went here this morning because I am staying at a nearby hotel. This was such a delightful little breakfast spot to find. The service was incredibly friendly and very quick. I never had an empty glass of water or coffee. The food was delicious and the portions were plenty large. The ambiance inside was exactly what you want from a diner in a downtown. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The breakfast is on the pricer side but the breakfast was 10/10. The Latina waiter was awesome and multitasking through out the tables. Our food was hot and so delicious. The French toast was to die for! We will be coming and can't wait.

That was a short-lived transition as this Little Italy corner breakfast spot was briefly taken over by Gooseberries. Within a couple of months something awry occurred, and the old Harbor Breakfast owners reclaimed the business. I even asked one of the workers what happened, and she was mum with her response. I had not visited before all this went down so everything seemed the same with the layout. Despite the breakup, I noticed on the top right corner of the menu that Gooseberries' buttermilk biscuits and jam were still being served. Breakfast plates, omelettes, sides, baja specials, and lunch items were the food categories. I chose the first breakfast plate listed which was the signature Harbor Plate. I customized the contents by asking for two eggs sunny side up, chicken-apple sausage, beet-n-sweet potato hash, and a buttermilk biscuit with the Gooseberries jam. The eggs were meh while the sausage had a mild flavor profile. The deep purple color of the beet and sweet potato hash was unique. Some added spices would have been nice to perk up the hash. The biscuits and jam were the stars of the plate. The round biscuit looked dry from the outside, but it was soft and moist on the inside. The jam was a less sweet version of strawberry preserves. The service from the waitstaff at the counter where I sat was fine. For the food quality and price, I gave a 3.5 star rating for my meal at Harbor Breakfast.

After walking around the farmers market, I wanted some brunch and found this spot. I was able to get sat immediately. I really like how the booths are set up, it's so cute! I order the chilaquiles and they were so good and they're orange juice is freshly made. I definitely be back if I want some good breakfast

We came here this morning after walking around town all morning and the service and the owner were friendly and amazing. The pancakes with blueberries were delicious. We'll stop here for breakfast again

It's hard to imagine a better location that is my cup of tea. Diner style food with a touch of upscale. The doors and windows were open on a beautiful summer day. The staff was super friendly and the fruit was other worldly. The only reason is not a five was some of the food items were mid, but still good enough. Can't wait to go back.

This place is now one of my favorite diners. The food was really good and the service was so friendly and warm. It felt like a happy place to start the day.

It's got the decor, chairs, and art to match. Jessica was our server and she was amazing! She gave us lots of suggestions on what to try and what is on the menu since it was my first time here. She recommended the bloody Mary flight so did grab that to try! We also ordered the biscuits and gravy to share and orange juice. The portions are so large! So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! In particular, I enjoyed the fried chicken and waffle tower and their roasted chicken hash. I was surprised they didn't include a side of butter along with their biscuits, but I'll probably just ask for it next time. One important thing to note is that their dishes are HUGE. All 6 of us had our own dishes, but I would highly highly recommend ordering a couple dishes and sharing it family style if you're dining with a group. One note I did have about Hash House is how overstimulating the menu is lol. The menu had a lot of clashing fonts, colors, and clip art images, it made it hard to digest the menu. I didn't even notice some menu offerings because of how busy the menu was. Also, our waitress did initially charge us for 6 coffees, even though we only had 3. It was a good thing we caught that error on the receipt before paying. Overall, the food at Hash House is definitely worth coming back for.

From what I could tell, there was only the bartender, one server, and possibly the manager working the floor. There may have been another employee, but regardless, they handled the rush incredibly well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving despite being clearly understaffed. The place itself is super cute and has a really fun atmosphere. There are TVs everywhere, making it a great spot to catch a game, and they have a nice craft beer selection. What I ordered: * Chimichurri Sliders ($16) - One of their specials. You get two sliders with no fries, so I'm not sure how much of a "special" it really is. They were decent, but nothing memorable or worth going out of your way for. Overall, I'd definitely come back to grab a beer and watch a game because the vibe is great. Food-wise, though, I found it pretty mediocre for the price. Burgers are around $25 with fries, and the appetizers (or "bites") range from $18-$25.. I was still hungry after the sliders and wanted to order a side of fries, but they don't list sides or prices on the menu, so you have no idea what anything costs. I ended up passing because they only offer steak fries, which just aren't my favorite. One big bonus is that they're dog-friendly, which I always appreciate. If you're looking for a fun place to watch sports, enjoy a beer, and hang out with friends, I'd definitely recommend it. Just don't come expecting the food to be the highlight.

Thank goodness there was room too, because wow oh wow. It has been three weeks and we keep talking about that happy hour. I ordered the Kiwilango slider + fries, my mom got the HH fish & chips, and my dad got the wagyu smash slider. Plus $10 beers, of course. Everything came out quickly and beautifully portioned, which made getting dessert (magpie ice cream cake) a no brainer. Delicious!!! I didn't stray into their full Kiwi-based dinner menu, but I can fully vouch for their happy hour, the cozy, charming vibes, kind and attentive servers, and flavorful dishes. They have protein pancakes that are low calorie and gluten-free. And, they taste pretty good. Not as good as their regular pancakes, but, good enough to satisfy my pancake craving. I have breakfast there one or two times a month. I always have the same thing - protein pancakes and decaf coffee. And, the portion is so huge that I take most of it home and have the pancakes for breakfast the next several days. Enough about the pancakes. Let's talk about the service, which is what compelled me to write this review. A few months ago I sat down and my server, Erick, came up to my table and said, "Protein pancakes and decaf?" I was blown away! He remembered me and my order. I am not that regular a guest. He is just that amazing. And, it doesn't stop there. A few minutes after delivering my food, he brought a to-go box, because he knew I always take most of my meal with me, and I'm always in a hurry. That's not great service - that's extraordinary service! At one to two times a month, Erick makes me feel like a 5 day a week regular. I wish I could give Breakfast Republic 14 stars; 5 for having protein pancakes, 4 for their taste and 5 for the extraordinary service.
