I don't know how to start.... Last year I got my hair cut from Ken and I really like it. Last week my honey and I need to come back to LV to get some business done, in the same time I went to Ken to get my hair cut and color. I'm ok with the cut, but the color...... I don't know how to say, but I've pictures to show you.... I spent 5 hours sitting in there with another lady got her hair straightening in the same time.....for 5 hours! You be the judge!! And apparently my hair not the only thing got colored.....my blue shirt got discoloration in the same time. The worst is I didn't know till couple hours later my honey told me something didn't look right on my shirt. So we have to go back to our hotel to change! I went back the next day to ask Ken to fix the right side of my darker spot, he kinda not want to do it...but I insist he need to fix it, after all...I did spent 5 hours and lots of money for my hair. Well, he did do little touch up....but I still see a weird darker spot.... Over all the color of what he called Embry" just didn't look balance for me! I also brought up about my shirt, he told me is fashion in these day.... Where is the apology and pay back for my shirt?! Not even give me a discount for my next hair hair! And this is why I have to show you all the pictures... I did not make any of this up! It just really pissed me off and no sir, I will not go back... Given the paucity of nail salons in the Vegas area on YELP, I had no choice but to go there. Pedicure for $35 seems pricey, although they do a full "spa"-ish with callous removal and salt scrub. However, it was unclear if their items were sterilized at all, and the callous removal looked like a cheese grater with visible skin from other people leftover. I wanted to get a manicure too, but after spending over an hour in there for just a pedicure with questionable materials I could not handle spending another $15 for a manicure. I paid $45 for a "deluxe" pedicure that was worse than any standard pedicure I have ever received in my life. It was supposed to come with callous removal (my feet are still really rough), a scrub (which lasted less than a minute), and a "massage" (which lasted maybe 2 minutes and consisted of the technician literally slapping my lower legs loud enough for other people in the room to jump). It was just abysmal. The nail polishes on the wall were all dried up, and I should have walked out the door as soon as I saw that. The guy who was giving me the pedicure was trying to rush me out the door and didn't even allow me 2 minutes to sit while my nails dried. When he put the little foam flip flops on my feet, he even screwed up the polish on one nail and just ignored it. This was a truly awful experience, and the price for spending 20 minutes being slapped and getting crusty old nail polish smeared around my toes was just abysmal. The hairdressers in the shop seemed like they did a decent job and had a good client base, so maybe that explains some of the good reviews, but I would highly caution anyone else from going here for a nail service. read more

Was looking to get a haircut during one of my Vegas trips, and saw that many Yelpers recommended this place. Located in Chinatown on Spring Mtn Rd, this is owned and run by a Chinese stylist named Kenfield. Once he started, he had me cracking up with his stories of Vegas and his clientele. He's been there for over 25 years, and has seen Vegas change several times through the years. Super friendly and a really good hair stylist to boot, a wash, cut, rewash, and styling cost $30. Will definitely go back next time if I need a haircut. read more

This place is horrible, she rushed to get my nails done. I went it to get gel manicure. After she was finished my nails were filed to thin and to top that off I don't think she even used gel. My nails started to break days after they were finished there. She didn't even paint the entire nails and left streaky polish. I went here to get my nails done for my wedding. It was $50 for French tip acrylics. And when doing them she was telling me about how they have new products for doing acrylics I was a little skeptical at first and rightfully so. About 2 hours after I got my nails done a nail fell off! And within 4 hours 3 were gone! I went back to get them to fix my nails and she did them the regular way and they look slightly better but are just terrible! Lumpy and wavy all over the place. I have cracks and bubbles in almost all the nails and some nails are so thick and distorted. I would never ever go back to this salon again. I wish I could get my money back. read more

We come to Vegas every 2-3 months and one of those specific reasons is to come and get our hair cut and nails done. The whole staff is so great,but we had Winnie our very first time and have stuck with her. She doesn't rush like normal salons. She takes the time to do things right the first time. By the time my boyfriend and I leave my nails are healthier looking and my mani if I get a pedi lasts much longer than any place I ever gone to 3-4 weeks by the 4th week it's hardly even ruined just grown out. My boyfriend is so particular about his hair and since the first time she cut we try to make time to come out here to have her do it. We come from Santa Monica ,CA just to have her do these things. RI was on vacation went to Pho Kim Long for noodles soup bc they open 24 hr. after that saw Kenfield's Spa was just stopping in to get gel nails, and Tiffany did my nails and convince me to do red highlights bc she had red/pinkish highlights and i was complementing how nice her hair looks. My hair was very boring and dull, Tiffany had brought life into my hair again. She had cut my hair in layers but didnt cut to much of, and did red highlights, and she help me pick the color for me that wouldn't look to drastic and i absolutely loved it! So did my husband!! The inside is cluttered and dusty. I've been here a couple times because it's conveniently close to my house, but I won't come here again. It's not worth the prices they charge for how uncomfortable and unkept the salon is. Maybe if it was really cheap it would be worth it. But besides the messy inside, the quality of the work isn't that good either. Last time I got a fill here, he buffed a huge chunk of skin out of my finger. It was painful. Accidents happen, but I think he panicked because the rest of the fill was done really sloppily or I guess you could say wasn't done at all. Mani/pedi took an hour. I was passed off to multiple people. No one asked my name. The pedi technician rubbed salt scrub in a scratch I had on my ankle. This was after she assured me she would do no such thing. The mani tech cut my pinkie cuticle. I'm not confident that all tools were sterile. I went to this salon based on Yelp reviews. I didn't have an appointment, but someone didn't show up, so I got right in. I have short hair and just wanted a trim, no major changes. The stylist first totally straightened my slightly wavy hair, then cut it. I liked the way he used his scissors, but didn't like the cut he gave me.My formerly wavy hair was cut to sit all smooth on my head, and the back was quite a bit shorter than I expected. It's okay; it's short and it will grow out and I will have someone else cut it somewhere else the next time. I moved to Vegas from Anaheim Hills... my hair was done by a woman in Anaheim for years... I tried making the drive just for my hair but that soon became too much a hassle. .. I made the terrible mistake of using box color and needless to say ruined my hair.... after wearing a hair piece for months finally my hair had grown enough to get rid of the bleached broken frizzy ends... I was so upset having to cut off my hair... but going to Kenfield made it much easier... Although I never would purposely have hair right above the shoulder length ... I had no choice... The cut was amazing the Asian style bob of shorter in back and slanting to longer in the front ....I'm always getting complements on this cut... the bangs...well I have no idea how he cut them so precise ....love the cut...if I liked my hair this length I would call Kenfield a miracle stylist. ... im sure over time we will find a fabulous style which allows for length... as for highlights I was hoping for more chunks more dramatic tones...not so blended but that's something I will bring up next visit...
