I have to admit, I've tried some other establishments like this one before and I'm not really into it but this place changed my perception. We ordered a couple of different items on the menu but the one I loved the most is the peanut butter and jelly. It has all the stuff that you really need and you can tell that the fruits are not like the frozen ones that you usually get from the other stores. What I really like the most though is the peanut butter, it tastes different, it tastes fresh. I wanted to try rush bowls for the first time with a friend and was severely disappointed. Not only was the store completely out of acai, but the store was critically understaffed - I could tell that the only employee at the store was exhausted and overworked. She serviced me as well as she could, but we had also had to wait outside the store for over 20 minutes while the door was locked. I'm not compelled to support a business that fails to supply incredibly popular ingredients while asking young employees to handle the entire store without management (as far as I could tell). Poorly run, poorly managed. No single employee should be asked to take that burden unless they're being paid the same as higher management. Utterly unacceptable and will not be recommending Rush Bowls to anyone else. read more

It's okay. Overpriced for sure. I got the beach bowl and had to add strawberries as an extra topping. The toppings here are very small in quantity and sliced very thin... for a dollar extra you only get a few slices of strawberries or bananas. The bowl itself tasted pretty good, so that was a plus. My gf got a PB crunch smoothie and said she couldn't really taste the peanut butter. I tasted it and totally agreed. Not a fan of this place. The best part about this place was the dog bowl I got for my pup, she seemed to really enjoy it. I'm not sure I'll be back but it's worth a try, if not for you then at least for your furry friend(s). read more

I am giving two stars NOT based on their smoothies or bowls but on the fact that we have gone there on multiple accounts around 615pm and the past few times we have gone they say they are closed. Note that the open sign on the door is still up and the website says open till 7pm. I have also gone there past 6 before and been served. I really enjoy their smoothies and bowls but wish I didnt have to second guess when they actually close. If you want a smoothie or bowl, during the day, definitely go there. read more

I had no idea what I was ordering and Rob helped me pick something, I had no idea he was actually the owner! I placed an order on doordash for a berry bowl. It cost me $24.80. My dasher arrived at your store and noticed that it was closed. She could not cancel the order due to you guys being open on the app and door dash would not refund me because you guys showed open on the app. This is extremely irresponsible, for a business of this size to state its open when it is indeed closed shows faulty business practices.$24.80 may not be a lot, but its the whole principle of the situation. My money was basically stolen and you will receive profit, although my order was never fulfilled. I don't understand why you would allow orders to be placed on door dash if you are actually closed. I am disappointed and upset by this. I am not one to leave any kind of reviews but I will be taking this to yelp, social media and the BBB. this is very negligent and irresponsible as I said. I enjoyed the acai bowl but felt the size was a little too small for $9. There is plenty of variety and a couple alternatives if you don't want an acai bowl. There were only a couple customers there on a Saturday afternoon and I ended up sitting in to eat, which was a little cramped with a half table against the wall. The environment is very nice, clean, and new. I got the Jungle Bowl. Flavor was good but the part that gets me the most is the price. The only toppings you get are granola and honey. Any other topping (fruit, coconut, etc.) is $1 extra each which is insane to me. Every açaí bowl place I've been to (even Jamba Juice) gives you toppings included in the price. My bowl was a little over $10 which is way more than I've paid at all the places I've been to in SoCal (Paradise Bowls, Banzai Bowls, so on). I love acai bowls and I'd say I'm pretty picky when it comes to them. The base (the actual acai) has to be done right--the right texture, not too tangy and definitely no added sweeteners. I think Rush Bowls got that right. I was really confused when I ordered online though, because I couldn't find an option for an acai base, topped w/ granola, honey bananas, strawberries and blueberries. The bowls have a great taste initially however once the contents start to melt after around 15 minutes the taste decreases significantly. If the price were around $5 for a bowl instead of 8-9 I think it would be worth it to return but it's just too much for what you're paying. There also seems to be not enough space for seating other than a small table inside and a small table outside, definitely wouldn't go unless I was planning to go somewhere else to eat. Been here about 10 times but I never got a bowl always a smoothie. I tried a few different ones but I always usually went with the Poe's Hangover Cure with no froyo. Okay bowls, but nice staff. We i got here, there was a couple of people in front of me. The single worker let me know that it would be a 30 + min wait because they had a lot of online orders. I wasn't in a hurry so I came back later. The single worker seemed severely overwhelmed, but they asked how they politely asked how they could help me. I got a beach bowl and it was good, nothing amazing, and expensive but as a former food service worker i am very concerned that they're are understaffed and therefore overwork their employees.
