What an AMAZING find!…read more We have owned a second home in the Poconos for 27 years, so we have been to SO many restaurants in the area. We were looking for something new--somewhere we might not have discovered on our own--so I turned to ChatGPT, and it recommended Bluefoot. What an absolutely amazing find! Bluefoot is a small, woman-owned business, and Monica, the owner, is truly wonderful. She spent time at every table, and we absolutely loved getting to talk with her and getting to know her. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant just felt warm, cozy, welcoming, and like you were visiting family. The first thing they brought to the table was a small bowl of fried plantain chips, and I have to say... they were THE BEST I have ever had! I even asked if they sell them, and thankfully, they do! You can purchase them to take home. For an appetizer, we ordered the chicken empanadas, which came with homemade hot sauce and homemade Sriracha sauce. Both were incredible! For my entrée, I had the Esmeraldas Encocado--shrimp with just the right amount of fried coconut in a delicious, creamy sauce. There was plenty of shrimp, and it came with sweet fried plantains and white rice. And that white rice... One bite literally brought tears to my eyes because it tasted EXACTLY like my deceased grandfather's sticky white rice. It brought back such a special memory for me, and it was absolute perfection. My husband had the Nanos, which is skirt steak. He had it prepared medium, and he said it was incredibly tender. I tried a piece myself, and I have to agree--it was full of flavor, tender, and delicious. The restaurant is BYOB, cozy, intimate, and incredibly welcoming. But honestly, what made this experience so special was the feeling you get when you are there. Monica makes you feel like family. We are SO excited to add Bluefoot to our list of favorite Poconos restaurants. We will absolutely be coming back again and again, especially when we have friends visiting us at the house. Thank you, Monica, for such a wonderful experience! We are so happy we found you. If you are looking for something different in the Poconos, I HIGHLY recommend giving Bluefoot a try. You will not be disappointed!

This has been by far one of my favorite restaurants in the Poconos, mountains. Customer service was absolutely outstanding. This beautiful little ecuadorian restaurant is a must try if you ever.
