We had done a bit of shopping and I hung my bag with a precious Hans Christian Anderson book of fairy tales I bought at the local bookstore over my chair. Well, to my dismay, I made it back home to Glendale and discovered I did not have my bag with me. I must add that at this point I was about 6 months pregnant and very emotional. I bought this book to read to my daughter after she's born, so it was just really hard for me. We called to ask about the book and spoke to Chuck, one of the managers, who told us they had it. I fully expected to call, learn they had it, and be told I could come pick it up or something, but no--he took it to UPS the next day they were open and shipped it to me. This level of customer service is so refreshing in a day when everyone seems to be in it for themselves. Chuck went above and beyond to ensure I received this book (didn't know I was pregnant, so that couldn't have swayed him). Aside from having great food, beers, and overall laid back vibes, they have unmatched customer service. Highly recommend.
