Got food to go, ordered their Shrimp Alfredo and it was not that great at all. It came with garlic toast, which was eh. I get their cockie leekie soup and it didn't come with their bread, it came with crackers instead which is lame because I normally get bread with my soup. It was just all weird on this visit 12/10/22, that I didn't understand. It makes me very hesitant to return back when things aren't consistent. Plus, I did order their Shrimp Alfredo which was a new item I tried. It tasted sour and not at all creamy or delicious. It lacked a lot of flavor. Definitely will not order that again, just glad I ordered soup with my pasta because I would have been super upset with the food not being edible. read more

Overcharged me on just about every item, withheld the itemized receipt til I saw it over the counter, and before I could finish pointing out the menu price and what they charged for every item stopped me and only refunded in cash (no tax) what I'd pointed out to that point and didn't let me see the menu they confiscated or the rest of the items. I just settled with that, but the mgr was like really? Would this have changed your mind? If you wanna get technical the menu says *prices subject to change* Well I told the manager I just wanted him to honor posted prices and hec tried to claim he didn't know who put the to-go menu there (mom pointed out it had the restaurant name). He first tried to tell me too bad those are the prices, but while I was discussing the menu with the order takers they never even told me the prices would be different than the menu we were looking at. Excellent meal capping and wonderful date night. Patio area is delightful for a spring evening. The staff is super nice and attentive. Bella was GREAT. She felt bad that we waited for appetizers so she comped a sweet potato hummus. It's a must if you visit. The Deep Blue Primo Salad is a hearty meal. Plenty of tuna. Maria loved her Chinese chicken salad. The yogurt and fruit appetizer is yummy. Overall it's a great place to visit. It was our first time here. We saw this on one of our walks and I a glad we decided to to stop in. The staff wears masks, sanitizes after each meal and the tables are spaced. Been eating here since they first opened in the 70's. There have been many changes to the inside of the building, but the food is unfailingly excellent. The salads are bountiful. Some of my faves over the years have been the cocka leekie soup, the Asian salad, the stuffed mushrooms, and the apple pie. They only take reservations for groups of 8 or more and the parking can be a bit of a challenge, but this place is well worth it. Truly one of the gems of the Fullerton food scene. read more

I have yet to be disappointed!! They got both the quality and quantity + healthiness + price!! This time I tried their Thai wrap because I love Thai flavors, especially peanut sauces. It was refreshing, flavorful and filling! We also got an order of their $0.49 peanut dip with veggie sticks and man that blew me away...could've also been that I was starving but it did taste so good! This location used to be a house and I sat on what once was the garage, but now is a spacious patio. The menu is huge and just about everything looked great and somewhat healthy. I started with the, get this, $.38 jalapeño, cilantro hummus and chips. It was super fresh, a little spicy, and perfect dipping chips or smearing on my Falafel wrap. The portion you get is pretty generous and for $.38. All of the hummus is on me! The falafel wrap was great choice for a light lunch. Wrapped in a tortilla, the falafel was crunchy on the outside and soft, but firm in the middle. It had an amazing herbaceous flavor and with addition of fresh tomatoes and cumbers it was a heavenly meal! The potion was pretty big, I brought half of it home with me. I loved the super laid back vibe of the place and the service was fast! I believe we had our food in 3.9 seconds, well not that fast, but pretty quick! read more
