We noted the special occasion on our reservation, and when we arrived they had a quiet corner booth ready for us with rose petals and a happy anniversary note. Our server Manny continued to craft an amazing evening for us with his winning personality and recommendations. We had cocktails and shared a Caesar salad and the tomahawk ribeye. I live closer to the Winter Park village, so I partake in happy hour here often each time I go it's a great experience as the appetizers are delicious and the drinks are always on point. Came here for our anniversary! I have been to the one in west palm beach and on sand lake and this location tops it all, mostly because of the customer service! The food at all locations are consistently great but we had an amazing experience at this location. We had a great time celebrating our anniversary here. While the happy hour wasn't quite what we'd hoped the steaks were delicious and so were the sides. The cream of spinach and mushrooms were excellent. The steaks were supposed to be medium and while mine came out rare I didn't let them take it back and fix it because I'd rather eat it that way than risk it being undercooked. Hubbys was supposed to be medium rare and it came out quite rare as well. He had the steak for two by himself. Staff was excellent and we had a good time. I was honestly a bit surprised by the prices since it seems more of a chain restaurant. We visited this new location to celebrate Thanksgiving with my in-laws as well as my Father in law's birthday. The inside of the restaurant has a much lighter and more open feel than the previous location. It's also much larger than I expected by looking at the outside of the building. When you walk in, there's a dining room to the right and a bar to the left but there's also a second seating area behind the bar that I didn't even realize was there until my last visit. This is such a great spot for an elevated celebration. They had a special table waiting for us with confetti on the table, which was a very classy touch. Our server excellent, taking time to explain each of their offerings, which was very helpful for our group's dietary restrictions and preferences. My husband and I each ordered salads, split a filet on their signature 500 degree plate, and selected several sides. Our favorite side was the au gratin potatoes -- they were the perfect amount of gooey bubble cheese and slices potato. We ordered several desserts including their special apple cobbler a la mode. Such a great spot for a solid happy hour! Visited Ruth Chris for HH mid week just after 4PM and was easily able to get a seat at the bar. The bartenders were attentive and friendly. I heard that this location recently underwent a complete renovation and it clearly shows as the space inside is immaculate. Their HH items start at $9 which is a steal for such an upscale chain. The old fashioned I had was just right and tasted amazing for the price. My fiance was very happy with his dirty martini as well. Second time dining here recently, and it turned out to be a big disaster, aggravated by a lying manager, Andrew Galvan. I ordered a ribeye steak medium rare, and it was brought out raw. The general manager Victoria Blackford, saw the steak and came over. We explained we had ordered the steak medium rare. She was friendly and said she would fix it. Unfortunately, the steak we were given after was completely overcooked and burnt to a crisp. After being ignored for about 15-20 minutes, despite multiple staff seeing the steak was on the end of the table, barely touched, our server finally took the steak and called manager Andrew Galvan over. Galvan came over with a strange attitude. First, he started putting down the general manager Victoria, making fun of her hair and roots (really), which made us extremely uncomfortable. Not sure why he started off by putting down the GM who was generally pleasant. Then to our surprise, he started shifting the blame to us, saying the steak wasn't to our liking - as if we were wrong for not liking a completely burnt piece of charcoal. It was not only inedible but a hazardous carcinogenic lump. He became argumentative stating he serves raw steak all the time. Last I checked raw and burnt are not medium rare. Andrew Galvan started arguing with my guest, a disabled veteran, being rude and condescending, and then started attacking my wearing of a hat. Yes, my hat. He started blaming me saying his staff must have asked me to remove it, and accused me of not listening to his staff, which is a complete lie. I was never asked to remove my hat. At that point I took out my phone to record his ridiculous behavior. Mind you the dress code here is very lax, with several diners wearing street clothes including jerseys and sneakers. It was a cold night and I was dressed wearing a suit jacket, pants, and a fashionable hat. We left and will never be returning to this location. For a manager to act terrible, lie so brazenly, and feel comfortable doing it, says a lot about the way this location is run. There are many better fine dining establishments in the area, without the lunacy. That said, Andrew Galvan has no business interacting with the public, acting unprofessional, lying, and insulting guests to cover for his own blunders. Dardens should deal with this liability immediately. read more

This place has a great meeting room with two large screens and it's to the side of the dining room, so no traffic throughout other than attendees. Sound is good and you can see the screens from any seat. Service is always good. Food is fantastic. Unfortunately my friends steak was a bit overcooked but when you're putting out 50 steaks at the same time, I'd say a mistake here and there is expected. My steak, however, was perfect. I ate half and took the other half home, with their mashed potatoes and spinach. The sides are delicious. The artichoke goat cheese dip was great! It is served with toasts. The bread and butter is always good. This is a new location as they leveled their old one and built this new one just across the parking lot. It's very contemporary. We went to the recent renovated Ruth Chris for their happy hour offerings and it did not disappoint! There are a lot of options in the range of 10-15 dollars. There are drink too that were under 10 I think. Not much of a drinker so cannot be sure! We got a few items on the menu. The seared tuna was my favorite at 11 bucks. Great appetizer and the mustardy sauce on the bottom really wakes your appetite up! The other beef items were the burger and a slice beef sandwich. Both were delicious! We got the burger medium rare and they were not joking. Cooked as expected. The person that ate it didn't get sick and really enjoyed it. I call that a win! Fries were delicious. Ruth's Chris is a Steak House Chain which does a pretty good job with steak. Is it the best steak ever? No, but you'll surely have a good enjoyable meal. You'll pay steakhouse prices for sure. Interesting is all of their cuts of meat are USDA Prime with the exception of the Filets, which is what most people are pretty ordering. They put this on the menu, but Serial? Ruth or Chris or Steak or House or whatever the name means (I googled it and still don't understand it) needs to up their game and offer a Prime Filet. And the filet's NEVER look like the ads with the round, perfectly trimmed "devil's tower" looking steak. Their plates are HOT, meaning be careful when eating, but it does keep your food hot throughout the meal. If you need to adjust the position of the plate (they always put it too damn close and I think they do it on purpose), use your cloth napkin (which they don't match to your pants... just sayin') The sides come out Family Style which kinda blows if you want something but everyone else at the table doesn't. You have to poll the table to see what you're going to order. They you have to pass them around and only take your portion and so on and so forth. We had sweet potato casserole and roasted Brussels sprouts and both were good. If there's a veggie or something you normally don't like, try it at a place like this and it's usually better. Since I'm trying to eat less beef, I ended up with the Crab Cake dinner which was pretty good. There were 3 pretty good sized crab cakes. Others all opted for the Filet and all was enjoyed. With so many steakhouses in Orlando, I'm not sure how often I'd come here. They do have their wine dinners every month or two, but they've really gone up in price lately. You'll get the classic steakhouse experience here. We will have to try Morton's, Flemings, STK and some of the other places around before we return. Service was great with multiple people tending to your needs. That's probably the reason it's 4 stars instead of 3. NOTE: As of May 2022, they will be moving to a new building in Winter Park Village and out of the outdated pink building, so it may be worth waiting until they're in their new digs later in 2022. read more

The customer service was A1. The server learns the name of the other person with you and calls you by your names as well. Many servers, managers, etc.., said Happy Anniversary to us and started up conversations that didn't feel forced and weren't awkward at all. The food was excellent and so tasty. Come here for an excellent steak! I've dined at this Ruth's Chris location twice now in 2021 but I've eaten at other ones in the past. I was able to make weekend reservations on Open Table which made planning easy, The food is five stars! Prices are high, which is expected for this well known chain. My filets both times were perfectly cooked, and served on a hot plate with melted butter. The lobster Mac and cheese was incredible, and I would definitely order it again. My son ate quiet a bit of it minus the lobster! Fried shrimp and French fries are also delicious. I didn't see the fries on the menu but they were a side dish for the kids menu so we decided to order them. They must've been fried in beef fat as they were surprisingly good. On our previous visit we also tried the sweet potato casserole, which was on sweet side. Service here is also five starts. The atmosphere is not as romantic as you might think. It gets incredibly loud in the main dining room when it is full. Not sure if there is a more secluded part of the restaurant. They have a limited kids menu and since we saw kids here on our first visit, we brought our son on our second visit. They brought a plastic drink cup for him which was nice. Cold and Christ with the perfect amount of dressing and cheese. The soup however wasn't the best. It lacked flavor, it had a good amount of lobster. The Filets were cooked to perfection', the meat was so tender and juicy. It came out sizzling in the plate which helped it stay warm the entire time I ate it. The sides were garlic mashed and cream spinach. The potatoes were rich and creamy. The spinach was a little watery but still good. Our dessert was the bread pudding. It was delicious,it had raisins in it and a rich, creamy sauce. All it was missing was some vanilla ice cream. The restaurant itself is chic and clean.
