    Anniversary dinner
    Jennifer C.

The Winter Park Ruth's Chris helped us make our anniversary dinner very special. We noted the special occasion on our reservation, and when we arrived they had a quiet corner booth ready for us with rose petals and a happy anniversary note. Our server Manny continued to craft an amazing evening for us with his winning personality and recommendations. We had cocktails and shared a Caesar salad and the tomahawk ribeye. This particular steak is carved table-side and everything was perfection. The restaurant waded our meal by bringing out a complimentary desert for the occasion. I wish we could afford to have this experience more often but it was definitely a magical memory. Thank you!!

Excellent happy hour, I always get the steak sandwich with fries and it always hits. I also loved the fruity martini I had and the bartender made a blueberry mint drink, which was delicious. Service is great always very friendly and attentive. It's a great choice to go with friends, on a date or solo. I enjoy sitting at the bar. Upscale but not pretentious.

I went to Ruth's Chris for the first time with 7 friends and we had a great dinner. The restaurant is huge, the staff is very friendly and there is a patio with fans. The food came out promptly and our server was attentive. The food was delish, although one of our bread loaves had mold on it. Drinks were great too. A little overpriced in my opinion but ambiance and service was well worth it!

I have lived in Orlando for over four to five years and always wanted to try Ruth's Chris and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was very elegant and I loved their three course meals for $55. This was definitely a steal. I took my sister to dinner to celebrate her 5k and we had such a nice experience . I ordered the Cesar salad which was refreshing and crispy , I tried the stuffed chicken with spinach and mashed potatoes, omg the stuffed chicken was amazing. It wasn't filled too much and came out hot . The spinach was soft and buttery and melted in my mouth. Ruth's Chris is definitely a nice place to go if you want wine and dine or just enjoy time with family or friends . I also like they make things personal with little notes to celebrate birthday or anniversaries . Our server was so nice and helped make great recommendations .

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse did not disappoint! This was my first visit to the restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I started with the stuffed mushrooms loaded with crab meat (so good) and a crisp Caesar salad. For the main event, I went with the Ruth's Classic filet topped with shrimp--perfectly cooked, buttery tender, and honestly melts in your mouth. Worth every penny. I sipped on a smooth red wine and later tried one of their signature cocktails--both spot on. Yes, it's a splurge, but for a special occasion, this place is 100% worth it. Highly recommend!

Came here for our anniversary! I have been to the one in west palm beach and on sand lake and this location tops it all, mostly because of the customer service! The food at all locations are consistently great but we had an amazing experience at this location. Everyone was so kind from the host to our amazing server Abigail to the food runners and to the nice manager that checked on us Peter. Hudson boxed up our food and was the sweetest!!!!! It's a beautiful location as well. 100% will be my new steak house spot as a steakhouse connoisseur myself. THANK YOU!

Visited for dinner tonight and they had happy hour! Looks like they revamped the menu which was nice! We got the tuna, shrimp (on happy hour) and the stuffed chicken which is the best chicken in the world as well as steak. Our waitress was Jenna and she was so sweet! We enjoyed our dinner and delicious just like we remembered. Would love to come back and try that chicken sandwich on there as well as zucchini fries.

Went online and placed a pick up order and selected a time that was provided as an option. Although they were not busy yet - Food was not available at the selected time for pick up. Had to wait about an extra 25 -30 minutes. Please don't provide select time slots for pick up if this is truly not an available option. Got home and discovered my Brussels sprouts were burnt. $75 (to include gratuity for no reason) for burnt food.

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary here. While the happy hour wasn't quite what we'd hoped the steaks were delicious and so were the sides. The cream of spinach and mushrooms were excellent. The steaks were supposed to be medium and while mine came out rare I didn't let them take it back and fix it because I'd rather eat it that way than risk it being undercooked. Hubbys was supposed to be medium rare and it came out quite rare as well. He had the steak for two by himself. Staff was excellent and we had a good time. I was honestly a bit surprised by the prices since it seems more of a chain restaurant. The wine list left something to be desired and the happy hour drinks menu could stand to be expanded.

One of my favorite things about The Wine Room is the self-serve concept. You load a card with however much you'd like to spend, then use it at the wine dispensers throughout the space. You can choose your wine and your pour size, which makes it really easy to sample several different varieties at your own pace. They have a large selection, so whether you already know what you like or you're looking to try something completely new, there's plenty to choose from. The staff is also very helpful if you need recommendations. The ambiance is cute and inviting, and they have a food menu with plenty of small bites, including cheese boards, mac and cheese, tacos, sandwiches, flatbreads, and more. I personally don't usually come here for the food--the wine is the main attraction for me--but it's nice to have options to snack on while you're tasting. I recently attended one of their wine and cheese pairing events and really enjoyed the experience. We tasted six different wines, each paired with a different cheese, and I was pleasantly surprised by the portions of cheese we received. They also served baguette on the side, which was a nice touch. It was a fun way to learn a little more about wine and experience different pairings. They host different events throughout the year that you can purchase separate tickets for, so I definitely recommend keeping an eye on their event calendar if you're a wine lover. Overall, The Wine Room is a great Park Avenue spot for a date night, girls' night, or even just an afternoon of wine tasting. If you enjoy wine and like being able to explore at your own pace, this is definitely worth adding to your Orlando list.

She made sure our long table was never overloaded with unnecessary clutter. Her knowledge and guidance were precise and valuable. Not everyone in our party went with the MD menu. A downside was late pizza delivery for those who ordered it. The rest of us were well into our meals by the time pizzas finally arrived. Apologies and updates were provided, though. Another fail was the MD meatball appetizer (Albondigas). Disappointment rolled into a ball. Bland, dry meat. Nuts and sauce provided only mediocre flavor. First bite of Pork Pappardelle was a bit salty, but more savory balanced as I continued on. Finished the entire dish. Sticky Toffee Cake was warm, spongey goodness. Thinking about it takes me to a happy place. Really enjoyed my glass of Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc. Right up my alley as a regular pinot grigio enthusiast. I know I'll return. The brunch menu is very enticing.

That's quite expensive, even in the Winter Park area. The staff were friendly and attentive, and went above and beyond to give my friend a great birthday. The atmosphere looks like an upscale executive lounge with chillaxin music and artsy paintings that looks like you can buy. I though wonder why the eyes were red out in almost all of the paintings. They have seating indoors and outdoors. In the cooler months, the patio is just a vibe! The interior is just as charming with "French-inspired" influences, lovely lighting & decor that ties in the European escape this wine bar beautifully embodies. On my first visit, we tried to sit outdoors, but the Florida heat (& bees) had other plans for us. So, we transitioned inside and sat at their bar area. We were immediately greeted by the kindest servers who guided us on their menu selections. My friend and I, with similar wine tastes (we both love our wines DRY like DESERT), both opted for a glass of rosé and YUM! We followed it up with a white selection recommended by our server, and we enjoyed it immensely. Truly ten, ten, tens across the board! We did not eat (which, in all honesty, is okay with me). And based on reviews from various other Yelpers, the consensus SEEMS to be to eat prior to coming to Lorelei. Typically, on all my visits, I usually cap around two glasses of wine, and it's reasonable. They are not the cheapest spot, especially if you add food to your tab, but for the quality, it is worth it (to me as it relates to the wine selection), as I haven't really had a terrible glass of wine there. As we know, vegetarian and gluten free often times doesn't get the same amount of flavor and attention as other foods, but that was not the case here. The vegetarian escargot was so delicious. The sauce had the same taste as real escargot, but of course the items brought their own flavor. Two other Yelp Elites (Lorn C. and Mikhail C.) joined me and we were seated in a cute half booth at the window. It fit the three of us perfectly and our server, Teaya, always made sure the previous plates were cleared before bringing the next course. Teaya was friendly and efficient and gave us sufficient space to enjoy each other's company. We each started off with a drink, and I ordered the Le Charmel Pinot Noir, which was delicious. We then each ordered our three course selections to start the evening. There was no rush to finish our drinks or dinner, which was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed the following three courses. First, the Plant-based "Escargot" was a mixture of mushrooms, zucchini, plantain and black figs. The "Escargot" in this appetizer's name comes from the plate it was served on and the delicious sauce prepared with it. Snails were not a part of this mixture, but they were not missed in this satisfying concoction. For the main course, I chose the Cerdo Iberico Con Salsa Pedro Ximenez. It was a deliciously roast pork tenderloin, sitting in a mustard sauce, which was incredible. It was also accompanied by herb roasted potatoes. Mikhail had the same course, and he raved about it also. For dessert, I chose the Affogato, which was a combination of vanilla gelato with caramel espresso on the side. It was the perfect final act for this magical dining experience. Mikhail chose the Pot De Crème which consisted of a rich chocolate custard with creme Chantilly and sea salt. He allowed Lorn and I a taste, and we all agreed it reminded us of a velvety chocolate mousse that was definitely homemade. Finally, I would like to also commend the manager/owner who checked on us throughout the evening and made us so comfortable in his environment. If you are ever in the Hannibal Square area, especially during the current Magical Dining period, I recommend you try this quaint restaurant. Just remember, as stated above, reservations are recommended.
