Ruth's Chris is one of our favorite steakhouses. We always have wonderful service and our steaks are cooked perfectly!

Made a reservation to celebrate my son's 14th birthday, we arrived with our table decorated with birthday confetti. Taylor made sure our experience was top notch! She was very attentive to everything which is such a delight. We expect nothing but the best and the best we got. Ahi Tuna for appetizer, Lobster Bisque Soup, Tomahawk seasoned to perfection, my husband got the sea bass which melts in your mouth softness. As always I'm simple, I love their Lobster Mac & Cheese so make sure to add that to your sides. My son had a memorable birthday dinner so kudos to the whole staff especially the Chef!

Modern and classy with a beautiful set up. Two main dining areas on both sides of the very elaborate bar. This location is brand new as the older free standing one has been demolished, what a lovely fresh feeling to come back to RC after a few years. Each of the dishes, strip steak, filet & lobster and the sides of cremini mushrooms and garlic potatoes were absolutely delicious. Steaks cooked to perfection at high temperature were sizzling on our plates. House and Cesar salads were plentiful and fresh. The service was on point. Mandi was very attentive and friendly and explained the specials very well especially in the loud room:) She stopped by frequently to see if we needed anything else. The restaurant was packed and we waited about 15 minutes to get seated. We did make reservations. Our birthday guest was upgraded to a regular size dessert with a candle instead of the personal dessert that came with the Steak and Lobster Signature meal. Overall everything was on point and the manager did circle around to check on the tables as the guests were finishing up. Have to say, we" ll be back again.

    Birthday dessert. Very nice touch.

My wife and I went to celebrate her birthday. This was the first time visiting at their new location, which is a mere 100 yards from their old location. We were shown to our table, in the middle of their dining room, but asked to sit at a booth. Note to self: always request a booth. We were asked by the host if we were celebrating a special occasion, which by the way, when I made the reservation, I was asked the same question, and clearly stated it was for my wife's birthday. The host was a little put off by our request, as I noticed they had taken time to add little "Happy Birthday" confetti on the white table cloth. Nonetheless, we sat at a booth. Moments later, our "busser/servers assistant" welcomed us and asked us the same question about celebrating a special occasion. Yet again, I told him that we were celebrating my wife's birthday. He then began to remove the two place settings in front of us, explaining that this is what their practice is... errrrr okay. Expecting the place settings that were not removed to be moved in front of us, we sat there with no place settings in front of us. Perplexed, when our server came over to welcome us, and yes, asked if we were celebrating ... you get the gist, I enquired about the two place settings being removed and let her know we're were not moving positions to be in front of the place settings that were not removed. She insisted that we did not have to. Again, I expected someone to reposition the place settings to be in front of us. Now, you might be asking what's the point? The point ... when choosing to eat at a "Fine Dining" restaurant and dropping a considerable amount of money, place settings are part of the overall service experience. By the way, at no point did the server or her assistant attempt to move the place settings to be in front of us.... However, upon ordering a bottle of St. Suppery Cab Sauv (2019), she did reach over us and moved the two wine glasses to be in front of us.. but not the water. I've never experienced this in any fine dining restaurants... Moving on (sigh of relief). 1. Wine service - On point. 2. Food: we both ordered steaks. Perfectly Cooked. Sides: baked potato and Cremini mushrooms en Demi-Glace, very good. 3. Very nice "Birthday Apple Pie À La Mode" dessert (pictured). Later in our dining experience, a "manager" came to our table. He did not introduce himself. We assumed he was a manager based on his suit... perhaps he should come to the table, introduce himself and ask "how was our dining experience?", not "do we have any questions or concerns?" We will not return to this Ruth's Chris, not because of the food, but service experience was not indicative to a fine dining restaurant. This makes me question their service training or service policies. This also makes me question if I have too high an expectation for this restaurant ... I give the food 5/5. I give the wine 5/5. I give the Birthday dessert 5/5. I give service experience 1/5. As opposed to our visit to their old location, service experience - Confusing and Poor. If service, to you, is not important ... then this is the place for you. If both food and service is important to you, as it is to me, go somewhere else. I will be going somewhere else...

I was unable to make a reservation for this night, but walked in and was seated at the bar immediately. There are two hostess stands at this location. The first stand is at the door next to the Valet Parking stand and is for confirmed reservation seating. You are directed to walk further down the hallway towards the bar area for another separate hostess stand for walk-ins. We were seated at a nice two-top table close to the brewery room. (Note: we noticed a separate table inside the brewery which appeared to accommodate a small group and most likely requires a reservation to be seated there.) Kelly was our server and she was efficient, fun and very knowledgeable of the menu. She answered all of our questions, including explaining the ingredients of some of our selections. Our drink selections consisted of the frozen Getaway Car (vodka, sour cherry and maraschino liqueur) and the Woe Is Me martini (herb-infused Grey Goose with a pickled cherry tomato). The tomato made this martini stand out! The presentation of both drinks was memorable as was the taste of each. For our appetizers, we shared the Gatherer Salad (a zesty combination of baby greens, avocado, pickled beets, radish, goat, cheese and walnut granola with a herb vinaigrette dressing-outstanding!) and the Mushroom and Gruyère Beignets, set off by the pecorino cheese and the truffle aioli sauce. We easily could've had a second round of the beignets, but decided to go ahead and order our second course. For the second course, we shared the Pan Seared Redfish with summer vegetables, and the Steak Frites. The fish was delicate, light and the fennel broth made this dish a winner. The Steak Frites consisted of rubbed prime flat iron steak, garlic aïoli and bordelaise sauce-SO GOOD! The truffle fries were plentiful and, when combined with the sauce, resulted in a perfect accompaniment to this meal. For the final course, we shared the Black Forest Cake and the Peaches & Cream (caramelized puff pastry with peach jam, and mascarpone custard). Both desserts were the explanation points of the evening. At the end of the night, we told Kelly that we loved the combination of the "naughty and nice" pairings for this magical dining experience. (For example, the beignets and the salad, plus the redfish and the steak, allow you to both eat healthy and eat decadent.) A final shout out to the General Manager, Scott, who gave me an excellent tour of the outside beer garden (not occupied due to the rain that evening) and the major beer brewery facility next to it. TV screens are available in the garden, and would be an excellent party place for watching football this Fall. I think I have my next visit to The Ravenous Pig planned in the coming weeks. Great service and great food made this easily a 5-star evening.

The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. We can't wait for our next trip to Orlando and our next visit back.

From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant we were greeted by a very nice older gentleman who ensured we found a seat within minutes. Our server, Matthew, was STELLAR and made us feel right at home. We ordered the lobster wontons and zucchini fries with green goddess sauce to start and WOW how yummy ! Definitely order MORE of the wontons- those are a 5-star starter. I ordered the Crab Benny for my meal and my friends ordered the Steak and Eggs, the braised tacos, and the knife and fork breakfast sandwich. My dish was the perfect portion and quite filling without feeling super heavy. My friend's braised pork tacos with the street corn were perfect. My other girlfriend's order, the breakfast sandwich, was a generous plate and brimming with flavor. However, the steak and eggs entrees fell flat for my other 2 friends. One ordered her steak medium and the meat was overcooked. The other ordered medium rare, and while it certainly looked like it, the steak was entirely too tough to enjoy. I also noticed that the breakfast potatoes were a little hard. We shared our disappointment with Matthew and he did his very best to accommodate us and correct the error. The customer service was amazing, I was very pleased with how they handled the feedback, especially after they comped the two steak meals and took the time to take our critiques seriously. Where the steaks fell flat, our server Matthew and the manager, Alexis, saved the day! Despite that mishap, the entire experience was extremely pleasant and I look forward to returning and giving another entree a shot.

I loved the steak and that tomato salad -omg if you love tomatoes-just get it! The vanilla orange crème brûlée I didn't like though. It tasted like egg with a flick of orange. I honestly didn't know if I was gonna like it or not but yea. No thank you. I love creme brûlée normally but I am picky with the flavor of it so that may have had something to do with it. Other than that though, so good!!! I'd definitely come back even without the magical dining. It was a great way to try the place out without fully committing. I ordered my steak medium rare plus and it came out perfectly. I try not to over cook my steak when I go to a place that should be able to perfectly cook a steak and luckily here I was not disappointed. I also decided to add the lobster tail with caviar for an extra $20- great choice. For desert we both got the cheese cake and took one home because we were stuffed. For drinks I ordered the salted caramel espresso martini and it was amazing! As far as the food, I ordered something that was okay, but honestly, it didn't really blow my mind. The people I was with ordered the chicken sandwich and tomato soup, and they really enjoyed those. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest issue during our visit. I would give the service 2 stars out of 5. It took a very long time for our waitress to come over and take our order. There were also several issues with the drinks. She brought mine but forgot the rest of the party. Later, she brought one more and then forgot another one. She seemed to be all over the place, and eventually we had to ask someone else for one of my kids' drinks. When she finally came back, she explained that they were out of some of the items we had ordered, so one person in our party couldn't get what they originally wanted. After we placed the new order, it also took quite some time for the food to come out. We were there around lunchtime, so I was surprised that the service was moving so slowly. One thing to know is that they currently only have one menu for brunch and dinner which would be helpful for checking the options ahead of time. On the bright side, they do have happy hour, which is always a plus. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and the location, but the service definitely needs some improvement. An exceptional dining experience at BoVine Steakhouse in Winter Park! Everything from start to…read morefinish was completely delicious and prepared to perfection. Here is a breakdown of the incredible dishes we enjoyed: Complimentary Bread & House Butter Service: Fresh, warm, soft house-made bread served with flavorful butter. An amazing start to the meal. A bite of crispy parmesan topped with fresh tomato and basil garnish. A balanced and vibrant bite. Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes: Golden-seared on the outside with a generous amount of sweet, tender lump crab meat inside, served over a zesty sauce and topped with fresh scallions. Pan-Seared Salmon: Perfectly crispy sear on top while remaining juicy and tender inside, served over a rich vegetable ragout with a touch of fresh greens. Filet Mignon: Perfectly charred on the outside and unbelievably tender inside, topped with fresh herbs and herb butter, served alongside smooth, creamy mashed potatoes. Sautéed Mushrooms: A savory, garlic-and-herb-infused mushroom side dish that paired seamlessly with the steak. The food, atmosphere, and service were top-tier. I will definitely be back and highly recommend BoVine Steakhouse for a phenomenal steakhouse meal!

Believe the reviews this was my worst dining experience ever - terrible service, food isn't worth…read morethe money and safety concerns. We went this Saturday for Magical Dining and a friends birthday and didn't read the reviews prior to making reservations...big mistake. We made a reservation, when we got to the restaurant they said they were waiting for a table to leave, so we waited a little past our time, no problem there, but the table never left so they threw a chair on the end of a 4top, which is normally fine, but the chair was right behind the computer and bar the servers used so it was cramped and constant activity right behind me. Once seated it took 45 minutes, yes, 45 minutes to get water glasses...not even the water, just the glasses. Our server then took our drink order...we ordered a bottle of champagne and it took another 30 minutes to bring that to our table and they do not have any ice buckets so it was just plopped on our table. The server took our order and it took another 50 minutes to get our appetizer. He apologized and just said the kitchen was backed up. Wedge salad was small and the use of Thousand Island dressing on it threw us. While waiting we noticed a person who kept coming in and out of the restaurant...they looked like they potentially worked there, but come to find out they didn't. Earlier in the night, according to the host, they kicked this person out of the restaurant, but they allowed him to continue to come in and out of the restaurant for more than an hour. He would stand by the host stand, then go sit at a table, then walk behind me to play with the restaurants computer. This happened over and over and over and was completely unprofessional. Finally the guy walked over to a table that was occupied but the patron went to the bathroom and left his phone, this person went over and picked up the unattended phone, luckily the patron saw and a loud argument ensued between them. They kicked the guy out again but didn't call the cops, the table next to us were the ones who called the cops. This could have ended really badly and why they didn't address this earlier in the night and allowed it to continue for hours, I will never understand. It was at this time the "manager" if you can call her that came out to see what was going on, she did nothing, the table next to us complained about the wait, their dinner and their safety and when she walked past our table, I proceeded to do the same to which she told me "just try to enjoy it" and walked away. Are you serious? I was baffled. It was evident our server was overwhelmed as well as he was not attentive to our table, had our orders wrong and his attitude was frazzled but I don't blame him given what I saw that night. This place does not care about their patrons safety or their service level. The steaks came out, one of our group upgraded her steak to the 8oz filet and when it came out it looked the same as our 6oz...the server admitted it looked the same and then left the table. The food wasn't good. My steak was overdone, but I didn't sent it back cause it had already been about 2.5 hours to get it. Our meal ended up taking 3 hours and that was asking for our dessert and checks the minute our steaks came out. There are so many good steakhouses in Orlando and specifically in Winter Park that this place is not worth your time, money or your safety to go here. It's clear no one cares about providing a good experience and that comes directly from the top. There is no redeeming quality of this place, go somewhere else unless you want to feel like you're in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares.
