They're easy to work with and I've found the entire staff friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The RVs and trailers we've used have always been super clean and well maintained. One huge benefit of renting through them is they'll take a binder from our insurance company. Not everyone who rents out can so they instantly save us $$$. My experience couldn't have gone better with this rental. First off, looking over other rentals major sites I noticed the prices to rent a 27' class B were more than the 37' diesel I rented with them. During my time renting, everytime I had a question about the how to use something they replied promptly and thoroughly. Overall I would highly suggest renting from them opposed to other rental sites where the owners are doing it as a side hustle because they have their client experience systems dialed and value is great. read more

The RV I chose was an amazing Mercedes Luxury that was brand new. I took it for 8 days and we enjoyed every one of them. Oscar knew how to ask the right questions to provide me with the best option. I need an RV for an upcoming family vacation and have toured with a couple rental companies. When I arrived at RV Fun, I was quickly greeted and toured a large RV, the Georgetown. Our experience was a COVID-19 four stars but a regular times three star. Mia gets 5-stars! There were pronounced strengths/weaknesses. Mia was so great. Once she got in contact with us, the rest was smooth sailing. She earned the 4th star for RV Fun Rentals. Before Mia called (the night before our trip), I was getting worried due to lack of clear messages in the emails/website/auto-generated receipts. There were conflicting messages and payment buttons that didn't work. We weren't sure if the RV would be waiting for us until Mia called. Aside from very minor needed repairs a missing cable, the RV was GREAT! Clean as a whistle and drove nicely. We will be back. Oh, there was one major repair needed. The people who returned the RV the morning before our afternoon pickup returned it with a HUGE chip in the windshield that spread cracks half way across. Mia called right away to let us know about the windshield and offer to find a glass replacement service to come to our campsite the next morning. They did, and all went smoothly. Lastly, I'll say that the stairs were broken by the previous renters. This was really inconvenient for us, but has nothing to do with the company. Please remember these are privately owned RVs. First, let me preface, this was my first time renting/riding an RV, so I can't really compare to others, but I would like to mention how much we enjoyed our experience with RV Fun Rental! First, I wanted to extend our trip, so it took a couple tries before getting a response. All is well. There were different sources of contact, so I knew I had options if I didn't receive a response from the first source. That was resolved. When it was time to meet up with Mia, everything was laid out with transparency. She gave us a run down of all the hook ups, buttons, compartments, RV tips, dos and don'ts, and answered all our questions. She also gave us the assuredness we could text her anytime on our trip if we come across any problem. Thankfully, other than a slight service notification on our dash, we never had any issues. The RV we chose was slightly slower going uphill, but Mia mentioned that as well, so we expected to take it easy when coming across steep roads. The rest of the trip was smooth sailing. Something else to note, since we live in an apartment complex, I didn't have access to park a 23' RV, and we were going to arrive on a Sunday (they're closed on Sundays), so Mia gave us the option to meet her at a school close by, and she would take the RV for us. Such a life saver! If it wasn't for that, it would have been such a headache trying to figure out where to park it overnight. Thank you Mia and thank you RV Fun Rental! We had an amazing trip and absolutely loved the little clever addition to the RV. There were compliments regarding the TV in the side compartment! Just got home from an epic trip with my mom. We visited Zion, Yellowstone, the Tetons & Sedona... I had done a lot of searching and making calls to find the right fit for us. I was really drawn to RVFunRental since they are local and their website was well put together. My two main concerns when finding the right company was how much the additional mileage was going to be & if I could park my car at the lot/pick up point and that it would be secure. When I got in touch with Matthew he made my decision so much easier when he let me know I could buy discounted mileage ahead of time and get a refund on anything not used. Plus I could park my car in their secure lot for no fees. Mia was super helpful with finalizing the documents and thoroughly going over the functions of the RV. She made sure I fully understood how things ran and that if I had any questions or concerns I could text their # or call the RV help service. Thankfully I didn't need to do either! The RV was fully prepared with full tanks of gas, water & propane. It was clean inside and out with minor wear and tear. It ran like a champ climbing steep winding roads and kept us cool on the toasty desert nights. We returned today and ran a little late on the time I said I'd be there by, but Klaidis was very patient and friendly. This was my first experience renting an RV and I would hands down rent from them again in the future. read more

If you want your camping/festival trip to get absolutely ruined or feel like adding a ton of stress to your life 2 weeks before your trip, then rent your RV from here. I am AMAZED at how poorly Matt handled this situation. I would give it 0 stars if I could. My 7 friends and I are going to Stagecoach in 2 weeks. I understand that some RV renters can get a little worried about having their RV going to a festival, but we have a sheriff and 3 military people in our group and are very respectful and clean. We reserved an RV one month ago. The RV was perfect for our trip. It slept 8, had all of the amenities we needed (which wasn't a lot, just mainly wanted to make sure it fit everyone to sleep). I received a message from Matt 6 days after we reserved the RV telling me that he had an upgraded RV that sleeps 6 people and asked if we would want to rent that one instead because a family of 8 people needed the 8 person one. I told him, "No thank you, we have 8 people so we would like to keep the one we already reserved." He said, "ok, sounds good." Fast forward to a few days ago, I go to message Matt (through Outdoorsy) to ask him if we can change our pick up time, and I notice that our RV has been changed to one that sleeps 6 people. I thought that it was for sure a mistake since I had previously told him that we needed one for 8 people. I reached out to Matt frantically because our trip is in 2 weeks, and not only does he take all day to respond, but when he does, this is what we get... (see screen shots). My main issue with all of this is that if the RV that we had been planning on renting was really in an accident (which it wasn't since Outdoorsy confirmed he had it rented to another customer that same weekend), as a business owner, why would you not communicate that to the people originally renting the RV? Even if he did end up wanting to rent it to the other family of 8, that's fine! It's his RV! But COMMUNICATE that to us so that we are aware and can make adjustments. If I hadn't checked on the trip, we would have shown up on the pick up day forced to rent a 6 person RV. Apparently that's how Matt gets his business. Matt was extremely careless, non-apologetic, and honestly just a complete a**h**** about it. It was mind blowing. So, overall, if you want to deal with a shady business man, hit up Matt for your next vacation. He really knows how to stress you out before your trip and show you that there are unfortunately some very slimy people out there who don't care about their customers at all. read more

Super disappointed with this service. After Putting a deposit in twice over some wrongly advertised fees, and pulling a deposit out of another RV rental service, we we're met with a big "go f*** yourself". We were just looking for an RV for vacation, only to become extorted for higher fees. I understand its peak season but there are other vehicles coming in and out of the market for similar prices. If we knew this was going to become the case we would have stuck with our other RV service, because at least with them they seemed to care about their customer and had clear cut conditions, and don't just make them up on the spot and tell you to deal with it, not our problem. Please sway far away from this RV rental, at least make sure you have a backup plan. Don't end up in the same situation as we did when you find out that RV Fun Rental California didn't update their pricing, yet accepts your money without question.
