We had the most delicious experience at Cork + Table. We started with martinis. I don't typically drink martinis with dinner, but the Stoli Doli Pineapple Martini caught my eye, and it was more delicious than imaginable with starting with a frothy top layer and ending with a decadent cherry. We got the Brie and Hummus as an appetizer, and it was both sweet and savory. The roasted garlic and raisins were a unique touch. More bread would be preferred. Bread for the table is available upon request, and is sort of skimpy. But honestly, it's probably so your appetite isn't spoiled. For dinner, I got the filet and it was to die for! Absolutely divine! Other people at my table ordered the steak with parmesan fries, scallops, and pear salad. Everyone was impressed. We ended with Espresso Martinis and the Mud Pie for dessert. The pie was INCREDIBLE! I was expecting pudding or a trifle of some sort, but it was actually more like an ice cream pie with heath that just melted in your mouth. My table of 6 shared it. We had a wonderful experience at Cork + Table. Even though it was busy, we were seated immediately, which set the tone for a great evening. I ordered the bone-in veal chop and it was absolutely fantastic, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. What really stood out, beyond the food, was how welcoming the staff was. They were incredibly kind to our 2-year-old and made us feel genuinely comfortable dining as a family. Excellent food, attentive service, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. We have been at the Cork many times, and went with friends last night and frankly very dissapointed. We heard from our server that Stephen Cole was the chef there now and never been a fan of his, but food for all was over the top for salt...way way too much and mussels we ordered for app were decent but between the two bowls, 8-10 were not even opened...when we told our server about this, nothing...even left on the bill, dangerous and kitchen should have inspected before even cooking. Seems like a shift there, and prices continue to rise unreasonably. Not sure when we will return...maybe when Cole leaves? read more

This establishment is a textbook tourist trap. For the premium prices charged, the quality is remarkably poor. We started with the fried tomatoes, which were rubbery and hard, served with an overly sweet aioli. The "stuffed oysters" were equally disappointing as they give you six small oysters buried under an inch of incredibly salty stuffing. Beyond the food, the value is non-existent. $14 gets you a massive wine glass with about 4 ounces of liquid in the bottom. Our waitress was rude and condescending, making an already mediocre meal even worse. There are too many great places in this state to waste your time being overcharged for appetizer-sized portions and "sad" execution. Do better. read more

We have been considering moving to the area, so I use a house hunting opportunity to book a reservation and check out the local flavors. It was a little bonus because it was also our wedding anniversary. The woman I was working with to make the reservation was very friendly and accommodating since it was last minute (I emailed them in the morning for a same day reservation because they do not use a booking system). I asked if we could get bar seating since we used to love having dinner sitting at a nice restaurant bar before having our son. This was an extremely rare night out because we also had a babysitter. When we arrive, we were promptly seated. An older gentleman bartender met us with menus and explained the specials. We were both excited to hear about the duck special as this is a favorite meal for us both. I do not like duck with bones, he confirmed that there was a small wing bone, but that was overall deboned. To my surprise when the meals arrived, I was taking back by how much of the bone was still included in the duck. A younger gentleman bartender came over and asked how things were. We were nice about it and declared the flavors were exceptional, however, it certainly wasn't something we would call deboned...From that point on, we were dead to them. I could barely flag him down to get a second drink... Apparently, he took extreme personal offense to our comments. We didn't ask to replace the meal, we weren't asking for a discount, it was an honest comment since others may not like it prepared this way as well and it would be better they know up front. I finally flagged him down, we asked for another round of drinks and peek at the dessert menu. I didn't like how he was so turned off by this whole ordeal...I told him that I could see how upset he was about our comments on the duck, and that I wanted him to know that it certainly was not personal. It was a simple observation. He double down and then I point-blank told him that I've had duck in many many restaurants over the years and I certainly know the difference between bon in and boneless. This was 1/2 a duck with only the ribs removed, I wouldn't tell folks it was deboned. We were disgusted with the attitude and how he was so upset with us it really ruined the experience. I would never go back to this restaurant, and it is sad because it does seem to have amazing reviews and they do seem to make a good meal, but that attitude is unacceptable. I've worked in the industry myself years ago, you need to learn to let things roll off and understand it's not usually personal, unless you are a jerk to someone. Needless to say it was not a great anniversary dinner, I was saddened in the end that it really ruined a rare opportunity that me and my husband have for a night out. read more

Highly overrated. Had dinner last night with friends. Chef more interested in getting food to table than making good food and presentation. My veal chop was placed atop a lump of mashed potatoes with asparagus atop that. No seasoning, marination or attention to presentation. Another had shrimp with pasta drenched in way too much white sauce served in a black plastic bowl. So unappetizing. Another had fish stew, again served in a black plastic bowl, drenched in so much saffron that it was inedible. Should have been returned for another dish. All this with prices way too high. During the week my wife and I like to do lap around the waterfront and Main Street in Plymouth. We like stop into a restaurant or get a drink at one of the many places there are to choose from. This week we decided to step into this little doorway. Glad we did. We sat at the bar to get a sense of the place. We started with greeting from a very nice bartender who was happy to bring us a bottle of wine, soon after our cheese dip with toasted baguette / sausage came to the bar. It went well with the wine. For dinner my wife had the Statler Chicken with stuffing, and collard greens which were done very nicely. I had the special. seared Tuna with a mango chutney and curry sauce. It was excellent! The best part of this restaurant is that it's tucked into a very comfortable space. The bar is great but the entire place is just so inviting that any table is bound to be a good experience. Our bartender was excellent in every way throughout our service. She just made us feel like regulars even though she knew we weren't. That's HUGE! How many times do you eat down here and feel like you just got the cold shoulder for an hour and paid for it to boot! Right? We finished off the night with a couple cocktails which were made very well too. I told you the bartender was good didn't I? We can't wait to do it all over again. See you on the next lap. read more

The food was ok, I had surf and turf, the filet was cooked perfect medium rare but lacked seasoning and was somehow dry, it didn't melt in my mouth like medium rare should. My wife and I have been dining at Cork & Table since it opened. Our experiences there have always been exceptional, so much so we had our small wedding dinner there! We dined there last evening (12/18/25) and it was outstanding as always. The fish special (Grouper over gumbo) was delicious and the Tagliatelle special also delicious. Been wanting to try for the longest time and tonight we did. Very nice cozy atmosphere. Drinks were great. Caesar salad was delicious. The fois gras however made me really sad as it is always one of my go tos when I see it on a menu. There were 6 pieces of toast but the portion of fois gras was that of a butter pat barely enough for one of the breads.the other app we got was beef tartar/carpaccio, it was ok but lacked any real flavor. We got the veal chop and halibut entrees and they were delicious. For dessert we got key lime pie and Mississippi mud pie. The first was good the second however was a huge miss. It was frozen solid and had that freezer taste. The waitress was very nice and helpful but the service on the whole was very slow. I would give it another try and know what we would avoid. read more

We went here for the first time on a Saturday night. The food was good, but the service was really poor. Simple items such as bread took repeated requests, halfway through my steak I still did not have a steak knife, and our waiter was chatting with a customer at the bar for quite a while as we waited to order dessert. As we waited and waited for him to come back to the table, we lost our taste for dessert. When he finally came to the table, we requested our bill, paid it, and left. This review is long overdue. My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at Cork + Table this past May. We had a bit of trouble finding a restaurant in the Plymouth area that was up to our standards and didn't contact Cork + Table initially; only because we incorrectly assumed the dining room was too small based on pictures we saw. However, I'm so glad we did end up contacting them. I spoke with Deborah, who I believe was the general manager. She was so so nice and worked with me to create a customized menu for our guests. There was plenty of room for our party of 14 in the back corner of the restaurant. Although it wasn't a separate room, it still seemed semi-private as we weren't surrounded by other tables. It was such a gorgeous space with the prettiest chairs and gold accents and it took me by surprise since I hadn't even seen the restaurant in person previously. As for the food, everything was delicious...from the appetizers and salad to the entrees and dessert. Most of our guests opted for the Free Form Lobster Ravioli or the Low Country Shrimp & Grits and everyone seemed to love them both! I really hope they bring back the Lobster Ravioli in the spring because I would love to go back there for dinner on our anniversary and order that; but regardless, I'm sure anything else they have is just as good. This place is hands down, without a doubt, one of the best, if not THE best restaurant in Plymouth. Every single thing we got was incredible and portion sizes were perfect. We ordered a grilled Caesar salad with chicken (psst! they grill the romaine and it adds an extra layer of unbelievable flavor). For entrees, we ordered the NY Strip Frites with chimichurri, smoked garlic butter, and Parmesan fries AND (on special) the Pistachio and sesame encrusted blue fin tuna with coconut rice, black garlic kimchi, passion fruit gastrique and fried yucca! We were worried that the steak wouldn't be as tender as the more expensive options on the menu, but it was SUPER tender and had so much flavor from the garlic butter! The tuna is our new favorite dish! The crunchy texture of the kimchi and yucca really complimented the melt-in-your-mouth tuna, and the coconut rice had amazing flavor. The portion sizes were perfect (not small at all, but not overly huge), which allowed us to save room for dessert. Yes, we ate more! We split the Mississippi mud pie. Sadly, it was the only time in the meal that we remembered to take photos. I wish I had more photos to share, but here's a shot of our mud pie. TJ was our server - he was incredibly knowledgeable, very attentive and provided great recommendations. The place isn't very big, so definitely plan on making a reservation if you visit on a weekend. After over a year, decided to give C&T another try. Better than my first visit, not quite ready for 5 stars. Reservations are needed. They have expanded a bit, but even as we left people were walking in, finding no tables or bar chairs available. 7:30pm ish on a Thursday evening. SERVICE: Sue did a great job taking care of us. Our party of 4 arrived at 6pm, they were still quite quiet then. She checked on us often, and as they got busier, there were others to clear plates, etc. We were not rushed and appreciated that. BAR: Excellent cosmo, ordered Titos light on everything but the Tito's, $15. The wine pours are a bit skimpy. They use carafes to refill, but they are filled lower than is typical for most places around here. There is a good selection of wines to choose from. FOOD: Brussel sprouts are excellent and generous portion to share. The Fried green tomatoes were very good. Cod (special) was delicious. Salmon was good and a decent portion size. The middle was not as cooked as I would have liked, so be sure to note how you like you salmon cooked when ordering. ATMOSPHERE: Looks like they have expanded since I was there last. There is a bit of artwork on the walls, so not as sterile looking as my first visit, but could still use a little more flair. As the restaurant fills up it does get loud. We had a great table in the window so were a bit removed from the noise and could have a conversation without raising our voices. Why not 5 stars? 1) The menu has not changed. They do offer specials, but it is nice to have some type of permanent menu change for variety. 2) They need to be more generous with the wine pours which are $14/glass. 3) Be honest when agreeing to a substitution. We asked if we could have mashed potatoes with the cod, instead of the chunk potatoes and our server checked with the chef who said no problem. When the cod arrived, there were no mashed potatoes, so we asked and were told they were there on the bottom. ?. Nope. Our server then explained the chef sort of just pressed them, so more of a smashed potato, which we could have done ourselves with a fork. Definitely not mashed/whipped, so that was disappointing. I understand some dishes work better with chunky potatoes, but if they had been up front about not offering mashed potatoes, we would have simply chosen another entree. read more

Went to Plymouth center on a whim Thursday and luckily got into Cork and Table. Without a reservation, we were relegated to sit at the bar. No problem, because the bar seats are wonderfully comfortable. In fact, the whole restaurant is wonderfully comfortable and stylishly appointed. We got there at 6 and the whole place was full by 6:30. Our gentlemanly bartender took our drink order and had them back to us in a flash. He rattled off the details of the night's specials perfectly and took our order. Shortly, we were presented each with an oversized crabcake with arugula salad. The crab cake was the best we've ever had. My companion had had delicious shrimp and grits and I had a perfectly grilled veal chop. Perfection all around. The wine list is large and varied. We went for the Mersault white Burgundy. Nectar. Dessert was a house-made carrot cake hybrid that was more like the southern classic Hummingbird cake. Again, delicious. Cork and Table has developed into the finest of fine dining restaurants in Plymouth. The best. Highly recommended. read more

This was only our 2nd time in a restaurant in a year due to the pandemic but this intimate restaurant followed guidelines & it was so worth it! Our server was kind, helpful, & attentive! There were 2 couples she. We arrived & then all tables were full by the time we left. The ambiance was lovely too. They have a great wine selection & rotating beer. The food was all delicious! We had a 5:00 reservation last evening. Parking is difficult and we finally found a spot further down the street We were greeted promptly by the hostess. The restaurant is spacious and clean. It was somewhat empty when we got there as they open at 4:00. We were shown to our table which was in the back side of the main dining room with the bar. The room is very dimly lit ( we needed to use our phone flashlight to see the menu). Two of us ordered the halibut special ( $35.00) which came with a corn relish side and roasted potatoes. Our entrees came out " warm at best" served in a black stone finish bowl making it more difficult to see with the lack of lighting. Another guest at our table had the grilled vegetable vegan dish, which he claimed was only warm. My husband had the steak frites and liked it very much..... perhaps ours sat in the kitchen waiting to be served while the steak was being cooked. Downtown Plymouth has become a Mecca of fabulous restaurants. This restaurant wasn't busy our food was cold. I think they need to up their game. Not sure we will go. read more

Unfortunately, for the first time ever, I have to write a review without any food to write about. We arrived on time for our reservation here and were seated in a waiting area and offered a cocktail during out wait. While this was much appreciated, we were saddened when we looked at the menu and discovered that the menu was very different than the menu posted on their website. The in-person menu had only 5 or so main course options to choose from, and no sign of a steak list. While considering our limited options, we noticed that an entire 30 minutes had passed (without any explanation or apologies for the wait) and we still hadn't been seated.
