I just had another great meal at Turmeric House in downtown Plymouth. The Shrimp Vindaloo was fantastic as was the Butter Chicken the last time I was there. The staff is friendly and the restaurant atmosphere is very inviting.

Just realized I never reviewed this phenomenal establishment. Located on a bustling street of myriad options aimed towards all arenas of life and living hides THIS ethnic paradise. Super friendly greeting and hosting. We had multiple servers checking in, bringing food, refilling drinks etc. The place was bumpin too! The food was artistic and delicious. You can tell they went the extra mile with everything they did. The free crispy starter with 3 delightful dipping sauces got things going right out of the gate. The soup I ordered complemented that and warmed my soul. That goat though. Ohhh how I love a tender goat curry. Chefs kiss!! The finest dining of tantalizing my taste buds. Highest recommendation! Bon appetite!

What a fun and delicious spot in downtown Plymouth! The food was incredible and the interior design of the restaurant is stunning! We had very kind service throughout our experience. I highly recommend the appetizer platter. I cannot wait to go back here again and try even more options!

I earned myself a free entrée this afternoon when I got lunch at Turmeric House. I participated in the spicy vindaloo challenge. Despite some occasional moments of doubt, I vanquished it. I got my lunch entrée for free plus a gift certificate for an additional entrée of my choice down the road. If you can handle the spice, it's definitely worth trying during the month of November. If you can't, Turmeric House is still a great place to get a not so spicy entrée as well. The staff were so friendly and encouraging and other patrons kept stopping by and eyeballing my entree with trepidation. I also got a mango lassi to go, which was incredibly kind of them to offer as I was in a rush to get to the kiddo's school for Friday pickup.

As an Indian, I'm always skeptical of Indian food in Boston or in Massachusetts. Compared to Indian food in California I couldn't find any good Indian food in Boston. However, due to chance on a family trip and trying to find food that wasn't the typical East Coast seafood. We came across this Indian and Nepali's restaurant that was to die for we had the Rogan Josh lamb and the chicken biryani and tandoori chicken and garlic naan and all were very good. The service was quick and courteous. It's a small place but it's definitely popular from what I've seen. I highly recommend if you can't find good Indian food in Boston then drive down to Plymouth and you'll get your moneys worth.

The restaurant is decorated well, seems clean, and is dark with big windows on two of the walls. Server was okay. He seemed to have a lot of tables, but we were able to get his attention whenever needed. The manager seemed to be floating around the restaurant all night. He checked on us truly as we took our first bite of the first appetizer, then not again. We split the 2 for $50 weeknight special, which was a good deal. The elote dip was okay. It came out luke warm and honestly tasted like a can of creamed corn. We both agreed that warmer and with a little kick/spice would have been better. I can't remember what the second app was, but it was a fried beef and potato appetizer. It was very tasty, but very oily. We were wiping our hands between each bite. The Arroz Chaufa was very tasty and a good size. Unfortunately the plantains that came with it were extremely salty. Cocktails I tried the En Claro and Maldiablo. The En Claro was okay, I expected it to be sweeter than it ended up being. Maldiablo was very tasty and I would drink again. My husband got the sangria that had not been mixed prior to serving, so the first sip was all brandy and otherwise just okay. Overall the food was good but the drink prices seemed steep. $50 for two people to eat was a good price, but we spent just as much in 3 drinks and really only truly enjoyed one of the three.

I reached out to them months ago to explore using them for the welcome party for my wedding. After dozens of calls, emails, instagram messages AND even going IN-PERSON to speak to someone, their event organizer never responded. We followed up numerous times and not once, did we get a formal follow-up. It look messages on 3 different social media channels for me to finally get an answer. When we did, the organizer ghosted us AGAIN! When I followed up with her (now having her phone number) we set a date to call. She could not figure out how to send me the event details, she did not have very many answers to our questions - we got a ton of, "I need to ask the owner". She promised to give us an update to our questions, and NOTHING. The kicker is that she even ignored my follow up text asking for an update. She ended up texting me accidentally - the text was to her coworker asking them if they can let her inside because she was locked out!! So incredibly unprofessional, they do not seem to care for our business even though we were so excited to potentially have our event there. Would not recommend - try back maybe in a couple years when they can get better customer service and more organized.

We parked at the municipal lot. Not too expensive, but honestly, America's Hometown and the town price gouges you. Enter either elevator or four stories of stairs. I recommend bringing a sweater or sweatshirt if you are dining outside. As the sun started to set, the temperature dropped and it was a bit uncomfortably cool. No propane heaters too. Appetizers: I had the unstuffed quahogs... very good, but honestly they were not oven warmed, but more in the cold spectrum. Tasty, but should have come out piping hot. The place was busy, as we had a six o'clock seating; however, we had to wait an hour after the appetizers until we got our entrees. I had the lobster roll, not bad at all, but it came with French Fries and there was no substitution. My bride had the Vegan Bowl and she liked it too. We were at the point to just get it all down our gullets and get the heck out of there. Service was nice and pleasant, but they pushed the drinks and it was a long wait. We left just after eight. I'm indifferent about this place. Might give them another try, but probably not. Between the waiting, cooling temperatures, and kids running around like it was a Chucky Cheese... meh, I could find better. Price-wise it was ok. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
