She did take the time to inform us that we should order before a big party as our meal would take longer if we waited. We ordered buttermilk biscuits to share and I ordered the arrival of the sun (two eggs your way, bacon or sausage, potatoes, and country bread). The buttermilk biscuits were brought to us first and were 2 large fluffy biscuits served with butter and jam. The butter was good quality and jam was made in house, but was slightly runny, but overall a delicious combo. The arrival of the sun arrived shortly after and was a large portion. The potatoes were my personal favorite, seasoned and crispy! Wood ash rye is in a hotel in downtown St. George. The hotel itself has valet parking that is $22. However, if you arrive early enough you are able to find parking on the street, just make sure you look out for any parking signs. The inside of wood ash rye is small, but they offer an outside bar, several large tables in the center, and booths off to the side. In addition, they have a bar just outside the restaurant.
