Jung helped us out again!!! We bought a new gas stove and noticed that we weren't able to push it back against the wall. There was a good 2 inch gap from wall to stove and the installers said the gas line was the problem. We reached at to Jung and again his response time was phenomenal. He was out within days to move the gas line and now the stove fits perfectly! He also had noticed that the previous owners had tapped off the gas line?!? for an outdoor bbq that since has been removed and he took care of that too! I reached out using a form to explain my potential problem as well as that I had already purchased the likely replacement part. It required me to shut off my water until addressed so I was in a bit of a hurry. I was quoted a flat rate and given a window of time for the appointment. It was later than I liked so I asked if I could reply within the hour if I couldn't find anyone else and Ryu Plumbing replied that it was no problem. After one hour of unsuccessfully trying to find equally available and reasonably priced I asked if the appointment was still okay. They said it was. Much to my surprise, within the next hour Ryu Plumbing reached out to ask if I was available for a much earlier appointment as they anticipated they could fit in the problem and not delay any other customers. They arrived promptly, wore a mask for the sake of responsible safety during these strange times, and were kind and informative throughout. Great experience! I climbed out of the shower this morning to discover that . . . it wouldn't turn off. That's right - the controller failed and the hot water just kept on pouring out. A quick Yelp search and John was able to pick up the correct part and be here within a couple of hours to fix the problem. Man, I have never cleaned a shower stall so fast in my life. Called Jung yesterday for an appointment to meet up with me today for an estimate as I needed someone to look at the plumbing to install a laundry sink/tub, even if I had to pay him to come out. I was surprised Jung said that no appointment was needed, and to text him when I'm ready and he'll meet me roughly around 30 mins Friday afternoon (today). Awesome right? After a little trial project (replacing a water pressure reducing valve), I gave him a trickier job: replacing a conventional water heater with an outdoor high-efficiency tankless heater. I saw the amazing reviews for Jung so I was really excited to have him look at my shower problem and get his opinion. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by his service or knowledge. Jung, as a person, was very friendly but overall, I asked questions about other ideas he may have to fix my shower problem, and he didn't have any suggestions. I understood there were many unknowns, but I thought he may suggest possible fixes. The next plumber I called a few weeks later at Signature Plumbing had tons of suggestions and was so willing to help in any way.
