Been wanting to try this place for a while. I was in a spicy mood and this Old Town burger with bacon, fried jalapeños, onions, and aioli sauce was just the ticket. I got their Smothered Fire Fries that were seasoned with cayenne, green chili, fried onions, queso, and chipotle sauce which was a perfect match. My wife had the Mile High Nachos and said the marinated grilled chicken was the bomb. I am gonna have to go back some Sunday brunch for their Bloody Mary 1/2 priced specials along with a Brunch burger that has egg, bacon, and cheese with Sriracha ketchup to clear out the funk from a good Saturday night. This restaurant has really neat rock and roll themed interior and menu. It is a sit down which is different from The Garage where you order from the window then go sit down. The menu has a wide array of salads, appetizers, and loads of unique burgers. The drink list is also very good with the regular staple beers and quite a few craft beers for those with a refined taste for beer. I also saw they have a good Bloody Mary with a few different variations. Our server did very well despite it was very busy. OU and OSU were playing while we were there which explains the busyness. Would have given zero stars if possible. Stood at the door for 10 minutes before we were seated, and they opted to seat our small children at a tall top pub style table next to the bar. After being seated we waited 20 minutes with no one coming to take our drink order. I observed many empty glasses on tables and Payton eyes wandering around for wait staff. Multiple members of the wait staff were standing near the hostess station chatting and checking their phones. This was my first time at this location, but I'm a regular to S&B's. I was excited to have a location closer to home, but I was pretty disappointed. We were greeted and helped very quickly and our waiter was amazing. He was truly helpful and nice. He helped ease the experience. We started with our usual fried pickles. The sauce was great, but the pickles had too much batter on it. They were all very crispy and I even got a chicken nugget in the batch, which was actually tasty. I got the smokin Okie because it's usually my favorite but I guess they changed it up by having shredded Gouda cheese versus the slice and that gets my disapproval. The burger had good taste but was very messy, I didn't even want to take a picture of it. So I took a picture of the Sir Bac-a-lot which my friend got. That also sounded good because it had bacon jam, I believe it was a seasonal burger. She was highly disappointed and took about two bites and felt nauseous. For my first time eating at S&B's, it kept it simple with a classic burger. The buns were toasted and the toppings were decent. The cheese had seemed to have lost its flavor but the patty, it was not seasoned and close to flavorless. I didn't taste any flat top Maillard reaction, no char marks or flavor. This S&B location in Mustang matches up with the OKC metro locations--burgers, beers, and bloody Mary's. The burgers are delicious; I enjoy the Theta the most. I try to get their fry of the month, which usually blows their set menu out of the water. How I miss the Slayer Fries from October! Enough garlic to scare away any vamps. Well, they are gone, so I had to settle with "Sabotots." They are tots wth queso, sour cream, Sriracha, bacon bits, green onion, and BBQ spice. Excellent! Had dinner here tonight. We are a family of 4 and big S&B fans. We were regulars at the 240/Walker location and I have hit the location on N May a few times for lunch. We have visited the Mustang location 6-8 times over the last year since we moved to Tuttle. Every time we are disappointed. When they first opened the location, it was great....slowly went downhill. The Mustang location simply does not have consistency in the kitchen. Wait and bar staff is always excellent. Tonight,instead of Gouda Cheese on my Smoke'n Okie, I got shredded cheddar. Burger meat was as flat as a Freddy burger. The wait person would not even comp my poor excuse for a burger. Let us know when you get leadership that cares and train the cooks, we will try you again. It's hard to say how good the burgers were because we ordered all of them medium well but they were rare and not even medium rare; they were red most of the way through so we had to nuke them to get them done. There was a lot of gristle in them too. The fried egg was too done though. It had the consistency of a hard boiled egg. The bacon was perfect and the mushrooms were fresh, not canned. I was really impressed with the grilled onions because most places just burn them and call it caramelized but these were cooked just enough to lightly caramelize them without burning them and the crispy fried onions were just right as well. The fried pickles are thick and crisp and the fried green beans are amazing. I don't know how they make them but they taste like they are fresh green beans that are hand battered. The fries are good but they would be better if the cheese was melted on top of the other toppings instead of on the fries. The cheese made all the fries stick together so it was a mess trying to cut them to get a bite. I would probably go back for the Thunder fries, fried pickles and fried green beans. read more

We just ordered here again from Postmates, after a horrible experience last time, and again, the food is inedible. Not only was our guaranteed delivery 30 minutes late, but everything arrived cold and soggy. My children cannot eat their chicken strips because they are cold, and they aren't even cooked all the way through... a total safety issue! And they're absolutely starving. I feel awful. Their fries are also soggy, so I'm don't even feel like I should have to serve them those, either. I ordered some queso, too, and it arrived cold as well, and the chips are completely stale. In addition, there is grease floating at the top of the two tiny cups of queso that were sent with the appetizer, which is pretty pathetic. I'm so disappointed! My children waited over an hour for dinner, and now I have to turn around and make some thing that won't even be ready until bedtime. This is completely unacceptable. read more

I'm a huge fan of S&B's in general but my experience at this joint was not very good at all. Went in a little after 9pm and the place was not busy (3-4 tables including ours) and everything took forever. We asked about a traditional burger that wasn't on the menu (assumption is Covid reduced menu) and the server said she would find out if they could make it even though she didn't know what it was, they couldn't which sucks but not why the visit was bad. It took more than 10 minutes for our order to be taken and another 25 for it to arrive. We ordered 2 burgers, a thunder fry and 2 kids meal chicken tenders so that's a pretty long wait for that. Now to the food, burgers were good (reason for 2 stars), the smokin okie with peanut butter doesn't ever disappoint but the thunder fries were the worst i have ever had at any joint. The kids wouldn't even eat the chicken tenders, my kids typically will eat any chicken dipped in ranch and they weren't having any of it. Let me finish by saying I have eaten at most of the other S&B's and have never had a reason to write a negative review but I likely will not return to this one which sucks since it's literally 2 minutes from where I live. read more
