This is not what the menu showed. I literally thought I was getting a half order of different items by getting the App special. I would probably say it was about 1/3. This was my first time at an S&B, and I had a good experience. The ambiance was casual and chill, and our server was very friendly. The Mac and Cheese fries were probably the best thing we ordered. It is LOADED. My husband got the Avocontrol, which was very good, and I got the Sir-Bac-A-Lot, which was also pretty good, particularly the bacon jam. We got a special shake that was a bit of a sugar overload, but that was expected. It had whipped cream and m&ms, and I thought the brownie would be in the shake, but it was a drink dressing, kind of like cocktail umbrellas or the lime on a margarita glass, and it was so-so. Always love s&b's. The burgers are solid, the chicken tenders are to die for and I love their sauce options! We ordered a slider with peanut butter sauce just to try it since I'd never had one before and it was okay, not my cup of tea but they did it well. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my friend ordered the burger with bbq sauce and we both agreed it was all pretty good. Ordered burgers and fries and one of their sThunderbird salads with chicken. Burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. Salad I ordered was enough for at least two people with a wonderful ranch dressing. Fresh ingredients of purple onion, avocado, cheese, and fresh, crunchy, lettuce with the diced chicken on top. Aweful.... Came with a party of 8 tonight. Server took 20+ minutes on drinks and food came over 1+ hour later later. I love S&B and this location is the original. It comes with positives and negatives for me. They are not associated with the overall chain so online ordering is a hassle, several menu items that are my favs at other locations aren't available here. Overall though, the food is always delicious and the staff is friendly. Though I'm pretty positive our server was flying as high as a kite while he was working but he still got our orders right so whatever. I always enjoy the music selection and the theme centered around music in the decor of all of the locations. It won't be our first choice but we will be back, I'm sure. read more

It was busy as they had a fundraiser for PCNorth ... But we got seated immediately. Living in the northwest part of town...this is nearest location and the girls got hungry & we stopped in to satisfy hunger. Bergen our server was the really super fantastic on the dine in experience. He told us kids eat free on Tuesday... Oh my we were super excited. The pepper jack cheese bites appetizer he suggested really was a big hit. The beer I had was served ice cold and super tasty. My taste buds were pleasantly surprised with the quality of beers the offer. The main course showed up and was hot and in huge portioned. ( The fire sandwich chicken ...I added the peanut butter after a previous visit having the king... makes it so tasty) Overall the visit has me anxious to get back to either this S&B or another... First time at this location. My Fire burger was really good. It had the perfect amount of sauce and I devoured it pretty quickly. Not pictured was the Mile -high Nachos we ordered as an appetizer. They were very delicious, but the topping to chip ratio was dramatically off. We has way more chips than toppings. I like that this place offers a slider portion of the burgers and side fries. S&B burgers falls as a 3.5 stars for me, but I'll round up to 4. They are fast casual and easy in/out. I've never had a bad experience with service, although I easily think S&B should just have a counter you order at during peak hours. They have solid appetizers and a pretty solid burger. They can get too creative for my taste with the different combinations and a little crazy IMO. Sometimes you don't need to go crazy on a burger, if it's just a good enough burger. S&B's knows what is it and what it isn't though. I do appreciate that. They also donate to different nonprofits if you order a certain burger each month. I'm always fond of S&B and this location didn't disappoint! We started with fried pickles and they were crispy, tart and flavorful. However, we literally couldn't eat them until our burgers came because they were SO hot. At least they weren't cold. I went with the Porker, per usual and it was pretty good! I really wanted crispy bacon but it was served with just a small little strip and it wasn't crispy, so I just took it off. No biggie, the burger was still delish. The fries were abundant and crispy! My husband got the Brunch Burger and wanted it on a lettuce bun/lettuce wrap. It was served however, on a bed of lettuce. Like a burger salad. We were a little taken back by that but my husband didn't want to send it back so we just kept it. He still ate and enjoyed every bite! Called for pickup. I ordered the Porker, wife ordered the Sweet Caroline (her 1st post COVID meal that wasn't soup in a week), and an order of fries. Bonus points for food being ready when I showed up (10 min early). Double checked the order on the bag with the kid who handed it to me, all was correct. Drove 25 min home, opened the bag, and instead of the Sweet Caroline chicken sandwich, there was a veggie burger. Wife was understandably upset, but refused to let me drive all the way back to get it fixed and ate it anyway. So while the service was quick and my food was good, we were obviously disappointed with the mix up. This was our first time going there, so not sure if this is a once in a million occurrence or fairly regular, but it'll probably be a while before we go back read more

I have always liked S&B Burger Joint and for regular burgers I really like them. But I became a pescatarian about 6 months ago and so I checked to see if they have a veggie burger. They do but it's not good. First of all, it's spicy. The menu doesn't say that. Second of all it's mushy. It's just a fail. My granddaughter got a the Smokin' Okie Burger as a wrap and subbed a piece of chicken for the beef patty and a side of the pepper jack cheese cubes. She was pleased. The service was good but I found it annoying that I was reading something to my granddaughter and the waiter interrupted to ask if things were okay. And I felt rushed. I did suggest he should tell people that the veggie burger is spicy. He said he'd heard that before but he forgets, because he doesn't eat them. Up your game dude, just sayin'. read more
