Luckily another mechanic that works at my company was closer to Freightliner than I was, so he just made a purchase. I had planned to return them the next day but once the tractor was back on road I soon forgot. On 1/22/2024, I decided to finally return the brake shoes. I had the pleasure of being assisted my an employee named Hollice #442. He was extremely patient while we called my company (bc I didn't have the credit card, we had to verify over the phone). Hollice is very professional and stepped me through the whole process. Today I called the store and requested to speak to a member of management. The truck bed and frame were not assembled properly by the person (Brandywine) that last owned the truck and this contributed to the instability of the truck when the load was being dumped. He could of lost his life or cause someone else to loose their life! We now Lost income waiting for repairs! It is a shame that some truck sellers take advantage and sell products that are questionable in qualify and functionality. DOT inspections can only go so far.
