We got the wings and we were so surprised at how good they were. They make their own homemade sauces and our favorite was the Buffalo special. Get the buffalo special. We got the Sweet and zesty beef tostadas to start and we were hit with flavor and texture, it was incredible. We got the 16 oz ribeye (comes with tostada on the side) and the oven roasted corn and seasoned pasta. Everything was spectacular with good service as well. Enter S&T; I spotted it several months ago driving by. It's easy to miss, it's a small storefront that seats about 20, but nice. The place is BYOB, I brought a split of NA champagne to try out. We split a Caesar salad to start, it was very good and the dressing had a nice tang to it. For my main, I got Chipotle cream pasta. I was warned that it was spicy and it didn't disappoint. The sauce felt light, but packed a decent about of heat. Husband got the ribeye which comes with a sweet and zesty tostada. They were also able to accommodate his preference for carrots only as his side. Overall he was very pleased with his meal. So I've driven past this place a million times and always said one day I'm gonna eat there. Today was that day. From the moment we walked in everything was great. The place is very low key. Very intimate. Great date spot. You don't have to go downtown for a great steak. This place has it. The servers were very tentative to us. The steaks we had were amazing. For some reason, I was in my feels this day and needed a break. So to practice self-care, I took myself on a date. I don't live too far from S & T, so I decided to check it out myself. This place is so cute and petite, with an unmistakable modern Interior with a hint Mexican inspired decor. The restaurant was opening up, so I had no issue with seating. The wait staff was terrific and super enthusiastic and kind. I was immediately greeted with some bread and a chicken tostada. The tostada was sweet and spicy, which I thought was exciting but grew on me. My only setback was the temperature of the sauce. I can tell it was maybe refrigerated, which made the tostada somewhat cold on the first few bites, but the chicken was warm, so it balanced itself out. For the main course, I got the rib-eyed steak with a baked potato side of Asparagus and broccoli. The steak was cooked to perfection. Very Juicy and tender, I asked for A1 sauce but barely used it. I also loved the veggies and the seasoning. I think the baked potatoes could have been cooked a bit longer, but other than that, it was all great, and I adored the plating. This place was charming, delicious and a good value. I had NO idea that "S&T" stands for "Steak and Tostadas". We had reservations on a tuesday night, it wasn't busy, but neither was it empty. Teeny tiny place with maybe six 2 -top tables and a couple 4-tops, no bar or area to wait and while there is a podium at the hostess stand, there is no hostess nor room for one. I think our singular waitress was running the entire front of house - she was fantastic; professional with a warm smile. I would imagine Thurs-Sat they are probably pretty full and probably have an additional person on the floor. BYOB - makes for an economical night out for REALLY good steak. For 2 of us, we split the 14 oz NY strip, along with sides of mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. The steak came with 3 salsas, grilled veggies and a tostada (chicken) and we ordered a separate one (shrimp) to eat as appetizers. The menu is small and focused, which i appreciate. The steak was EXCELLENT quality, rich and meaty, nice and thick, and perfectly seasoned; it was enhanced only by the absolutely delicious home made salsas - no salt or pepper was required at all. We ordered the steak medium rare, and it was on the rare side of medium rare. It was perfect for me, my dining companion leans more towards medium but the steak was so delicious they happily enjoyed it as is. The sides were great, and not overdone, allowing the focus and shine to be on the steak. The tostadas were the sleeper hit - a perfect, small bite, crispy, savory and refreshing, bursting with flavor (whomever says these are bland has zero taste buds) - i could have put away SEVERAL of those. We skipped dessert this time, but I definitely want to come back and try everything on the menu. Outstanding! I've come here with groups of sizes anywhere from 2 to 7 people and everyone has come away from it having really enjoyed their experience.
