However, eventually I complained enough that they "unretired" a general manager who seemed the only one to understand how to address warranty issues and they agreed to repair my vehicle. It took a year to get the warranty honored and to be heard. Let that sink in- a year. And they had to "unretire" a person to get customer service to happen. Crazy. So I scheduled almost a month in advance. It still took them three days with minimal communication and maybe I'm just bitter but I am very surprised the unretired general manager (Mr. Kenny, if you're wondering who it is) never contact me again to see why I was frustrated about the length of time it was taking. Or to see if the problem was finally resolved. Or to see if I'd change my reviews. So, I am happy to report they honored the warranty but I would never recommend these guys unless you're desperate. If you're a woman, I would recommend you drive away as fast as your car can go.

After spending nearly two hours stranded on the side of the road, that level of responsiveness was a huge relief. Once he arrived, he got right to work and had the tire changed in less than 15 minutes. The entire process was quick, efficient, and stress-free, and we were safely back on the road much faster than expected. My only suggestion for improvement would be to introduce yourself before getting started. It was dark, and we were two women stranded on the side of the highway. When he arrived, he pulled up behind us and immediately started changing the tire without introducing himself. I genuinely appreciated the urgency and willingness to jump right in and get the job done, but in that situation, a quick introduction would have gone a long way in helping us feel more comfortable and know that the person approaching our vehicle was the roadside assistance we had called. Overall, though, the service was excellent. He showed up when we needed help, worked quickly, and got us moving again in no time. At this Midas location on route 40 in Catonsville the women who answered the phone (I forgot her name) and the person who i met walking through the door was the same person. Just as pleasant in person as on the phone. The greatest thing that impressed me was there was no hard sell for additional services. She reviewed with me the observations from the mechanic doing the service. She stated if there was truly something that would affect safety should would have explain the service needed but the decision would have been mine without a hard pressure sale. Because of this experience my father in law is scheduled for this Wednesday. Dropped vehicle for an 11:30 appt. was called less than 2 hours stating the vehicle's requested service was completed.

When I arrived, I waited about 15 mins to talk to someone at the counter. I confirmed the type of tires I wanted, and then they asked if I "wanted" a tire alignment when they change my tires. I answered yes, because that is needed when getting tires replaced. They said it would be an extra $130 for that, which brought my less than $500 quote to over $600. After complaining, they said they "found" a discount for $100, so my new total would be around $560. I was irritated, but just accepted my fate and paid. I left, then came back 4 hours late to pick up my car, which they said was still not finished. They offered to have me pick it up the next morning, but I needed my car to get to work, so they said I could bring it back the next day to get the alignment. I brought it back the next day, and was called around 2 hours later to come pick it up. When I arrived, I waited at the front counter for around 15 minutes with no one coming up to help me. I went into the garage and said I just needed to pick up my keys and leave, and finally someone came to help me. When giving me my keys, they told me my car was fine to begin with and practically didn't even need the alignment. That pissed me off because I paid an extra $130 to have the alignment and inconvenienced myself and my sister to drop off and pick up my car again. When I got my car back, I noticed the "new" tires they gave me were extremely dirty and dusty, which they didn't bother to clean off. Overall, the inaccurate quote, waste of time, and waste of money was very frustrating, and I would not recommend this location if you're looking to have speedy service done to your car.

I was so mad that I didn't even turn back around nor called about it. I just decided I wasn't returning and took the loss, and that's on me. I don't know what the resolution would have been if I took action. However, what I do know is that I went elsewhere to have the issue fixed. It took the tech under a minute to detect the issue by riding with me around the corner of their building. The service cost under $300. Easy fix because the tech did his job and didn't assume what the problem could be
