4-15-2020 This is the 3rd time we have used SA Moving Guys, and we have been VERY happy with their service. It is very affordable, and the guys are always friendly, courteous and quick. Fred and Chuck were running a little late but they called early to let us know so that was fine. They arrived cheerful, polite, masked/gloved and ready to work. And these guys work hard!! Fast but not sloppy fast. Barely took a break. I had to remind them with a snack and drinks so they wouldn't overdo it. They took great care with our things and were generally just nice to have around. In all three moves we have NEVER found our team to be deliberately lagging or trying to run up the clock as some other reviewers claim. Due to our own fault, our move went over the estimate because we misjudged the amount of stuff we had from 2 different spots, and had not been able to send a pic to Frank before his estimate. When we realized we'd need a second trip, Frank was very responsive, and talked me through each detail to explain the upcharges, and we ended up happy with the final bill. I used SA Moving Guys yesterday to move things from my Mother's Assisted Living Apartment into storage and could not have been more pleased. I had use them 7 years ago when she moved from her home into Assisted Living and kept their number handy because they were so good. Yesterday Junior and Chuck called as they were on their way and arrived promptly. They worked so hard neatly getting everything out of the apartment. We took many things to storage and then they came to my home to deliver the excess to me and to pick up some pieces of my furniture to take to storage. Junior and Chuck listened to what I told them as far as what went where and would not let me lift a finger to help. I could sit and direct traffic so to speak and totally appreciated that. They kept at it working extremely hard and steadily even though it took a bit longer than anticipated because of elevators and a longer distance to walk. I highly recommend this company to everyone. Their cost was reasonable too, especially for all the work they did. I'll use them again when the need arises. read more

These guys were great! I got one of those lovely 3 day eviction notices so I had to deal with a very short notice. The good thing was I moved my furniture to a storage unit up the street so they didn't have to do much driving. Since the company is open until 11:30 pm, I was able to book the movers on the same day I found the eviction notice stuck on my front door ( I wrote a lengthy review on the apartment complex, too. It is on the corner of NW Military and Heubner without naming them outright. Luxury apartment, yeah, right). The manner that the whole process was handled really helped bring down the stress level down quite a bit. They also did a great job stacking the storage unit. Impressive as they moved a couple items that I wasn't planning on storing since I really only had one choice as to size on the storage space.I promised my 2 movers I would write a review, I also tipped them as they were super friendly as well as quick! Today I had Mack & Junior assist me with moving into my new apartment . As soon as they both hopped out of the truck they greeted me with a hand shake & a smile. This followed with a thorough overview of what to expect during the move. It was a short move (same complex) ,but nonetheless, Mack & Junior were precise & efficient throughout the entire process. It's safe to say, when I plan on relocating elsewhere , I'd certainly give these guys a call again without hesitation . I really appreciate San Antonio Moving Guys , Mack & Junior represented well with their professionalism & attention to detail . We have used SA moving Guys twice in the last 4 years ,the 2nd time today . Bless their hearts we always have very heavy furniture that needs to be moved ! They never complain and always have a way to make it work up our difficult stairway !!! Joe Moreno and Oscar never complained and always have a fun sense of humor on how they are going to make " IT" happen. I love this company and Kim (the owner) she always goes out of her way to make it happen on your timeline . I love also that there is a flat fee estimate so you can work it into your budget ! I had my doubts about this moving company as we did not get off to a good start. After rescheduling the move, only because Frank took care of us, Fred and his team were Prompt, courteous, and very respectful. They were all wearing masks. They really hustled from start to finish and especially in this 100 degree weather. All working as a team the whole time, they managed to fit everything into the space where I wanted it and even as to fit in the huge sofas through a smaller door frame without damaging anything. Junior explained everything to me as they were finishing up with moving in the refrigerator. This team went above and beyond. Fred went over the invoice very thoroughly explaining all of it to me. They introduced themselves, asked if I had any concerns or questions, and got right to work. The move from my second story apartment to a one story house went so smoothly from beginning to end. In misty/rainy weather this morning, they worked non-stop and my move was complete in just over 2 hrs..that included moving some other things about the house that needed placement. This is the second time we have used SA Moving Guys. For r first move, Chuck and Jonathan were quick and professional and helped us pack up our house within 2 hours!! They were very polite and helped break down furniture so we could fit as much stuff in r pod as possible without having to rent another storage unit. 10 months later we used SA Moving Guys again due to r wonderful experience. Because we were repeat customers, we were given a $10 off the hourly rate!!Chuck and Richard showed up..... And they showed up early and ready to work. Chuckie and Carlos moved us today and they did a great job. Our sofa wouldn't fit through the front door of our new rental house because of the odd layout of the entryway, so we decided to try the back door. Again, this house was not built for getting large pieces of furniture through the doors, but Chuckie was determined to make it happen and they did. Carlos carried our big one-piece bed frame by himself like it was pillow or something. My dog ran out the front door and we thought 'great, there's a half hour spent chasing him around the neighborhood', but by the time I got out the door, Chuckie had him. Loki came right up to him! He never passes up an opportunity to run the streets, so you know Chuckie must be good people. I would recommend SA Moving Guys. read more

Best moving experience ever!!!! Joe and Melvin were the bomb.com! They were not only fast but considerate to not try to damage any of our belongings! They were polite and professional and were able to accomplish what took 5 men in our past move. Me and my fiancé just closed on our home and we were excited to move right away... Great experience overall! From start to finish, these gentlemen were on time and very efficient and professional. Joe and Junior were my movers assigned to me. From the time they arrived and introduced themselves I was very pleased and felt very comfortable having them move my precious antiques and furniture. The price was very fair and they finished a lot faster than I thought they would. I hired this company for the second time and both times I had spectacular service. Each time the movers were extremely kind, professional, and efficient. Although I don't remember the names of the first movers, Fred and Chuck took care of us. They kept us well informed of their arrival time, never complained about the weight of our solid wood furniture, took extreme care of all of our boxes, and were overall amazingly hard workers. Both times all of my possessions made it to their destination safely, nothing was lost, and the price for the work was well worth the service. Today was a small job, however I have used them to move an entire household on multiple occasions and have always been pleased with their service. They are and will remain my mover's of choice. Whew! I am so glad I called SA Moving guys. We had some weather difficulty, but these guys did a fantastic job! We have way to much stuff and our move was a little unusual as we are moving on the same property but to a different location for a remodel. No excuses or taking breaks on my watch, they went and cleared out my apartment in 45 minutes when I thought it was gunna be an hour. I can't thank them enough for overseeing this move!!! Simply the best movers I've ever had. BY FAR. Fred, Jon, and Brandon worked fast (important in a per hour service) and hard in high heat and humidity. Nothing was damaged or broken in our move, including the walls or door jambs in the houses. And they actually seemed to be enjoying their work! They weren't put out or grumbling the whole time. Even while moving a piano. They showed up on time an finished our move quickly and efficiently. The fellas were highly respectful of us and our belongings. I wanted to leave this review earlier, but I didn't have internet. :( Since my mom had such a good experience with these movers, I chose to use them for my move as well. Fred, Junior, and Matt were AWESOME. They were personable and friendly and handled my stuff with excellent care while also being remarkably fast. I have a lot of stuff and they managed to get everything down and then upstairs in record time. There was a large glass item that I was a little concerned about, but they got it to the new location without a single scratch. Last April, 2016, I wrote this review for the BBB: "Superb! Ask for Junior and Carols. Gave them 5 stars. I got stuck in the elevator, had to be rescued; transom was too short for giant armiore, fellows had to access facility from a distant door, so they worked extra hard to reach my unit. Junior solved the transom problem. I would have been a really awful day if it had not been for the awesome actions of Junior and Carlos. I'd certainly recommend Moving Guys to anybody!
