I had not been to Sa-Tang in a long while....I don't know why.... The food and the service were excellent. I had the spicy beef salad and my husband got the chicken Pad Thai. Both were really good. The salad was not big but very flavorful. The beef pieces were tender and well marinated. The chicken Pad Thai had a stronger fish sauce flavor than other Thai restaurants, so it tasted a bit smokier, but it was delicious. Overall a great place for great Thai food.

One summer day, we are again in one of our favorite summer spots in the northeast. We were craving for Asian dish and we ended up on this place. The location is kinda nice... not too busy yet easily accessible. Prior to this, we stopped by a WW2 musesum nearby and tha place has a lot of authentic items. Going back to this restaurant, we ordered dishes we are familiar with and it was good. The lady also helped us with the choices. The dishes were served in a very timely manner and all of us enjoyed it. The kids loved the Thai iced tea and the skewers. I enoyed the pad thai and mango (always). I highley recommend this place!

No peanuts when they went out of their way to separately charge me for extra

Is this amazing Thai food? Absolutely not. Is it edible Thai food in south county RI? Yeah. There are like 5 other Thai places in the vicinity that serve almost exactly the same type of cuisine, none of it is great. The best Thai place we've found is in westerly, there's also a decent one in Middletown. What really bothered me the most about Sa Tang was that after ordering online, I received an email saying I was charged an extra $1. I asked for extra peanuts on the pad Thai so, this must have been what for. No problem, only when I got to my pad Thai, not only were there no EXTRA peanuts, there were none at all. This really irks me. If you're going to nickel and dime customers, at least include the "extra" item you're charging them for. The one time I went to the restaurant to dine in the drinks were so awful we didn't even finish them. Service was friendly though

This place had very good Thai food. We were in the area visiting my aunt and my cousin suggested this for lunch. We started with the summer rolls, which I've also heard called fresh rolls - veggie rolls with a peanut sauce, which was very good. My fiance ordered the Panang Curry and really enjoyed it; I tried it, expecting it to be spicy, but it actually was not. I ordered the Garlic stirfry, and it was good, but I liked the curry better. I saw they had mango sticky rice on the menu for dessert, which is my absolute favorite, and it was really good, with super nice presentation too. This restaurant gets 4/5 from me and not 5/5 because the water refills were a bit slow - our waiter disappeared for a bit too - and prices seemed high, but my guess is that they were on par for the area. I'd still return again though, as the food was good.

Usually the food here is good and I have been coming here since a kid. But tonight I had some real poor quality undercooked beef. I mean seriously? Usually everything is good here but nah I'm disappointed. Do better

Food is delicious. Not the best I've had, but satisfying. Service is warm but a little awkward. The scallion pancakes pair well with the savory dark sauce. Good Tom Yum soup. Great Thai iced tea Would come back if I were in the area. Hi

Friends and I were looking for a last minute change of plans since Mews had a one hour wait. Down the street we saw Sa-Tang and decided to try it. It was empty at 545pm and they asked if we had a reservation. We said no, the host hesitated, and then sat us down. After 15/20 minutes, all the tables around us were fully packed, wow! We ordered the Crispy Pad Thai, Siam Kra Pow, and Chicken Prik Khing. The Chicken Prik Khing was a mixed stir fry. It was pretty spicy. The Siam Kra Pow had the most amount of flavor and spice. The Crispy Pad Thai was the most different. Instead of soft noodles, the whole dish was composed of crispy wonton noodles. It wasn't bad, it was just different from what was expected. For dessert we had Mango Sticky Rice. It was a sweet treat and pretty good! I don't normally eat at Thai restaurants so I have nothing to compare the dishes to. It was a nice time out with friends.

In a location surrounded by seafood places on the water, often with an hour plus wait, this is a good change of pace.

We enjoyed massanan curry and garlic stir-fried chicken. My wife's the Thai fan and she was happy with the meal. I prefer Chinese cuisine.

What more could you want than Mexican brunch and outdoor seating? They're always quick to greet us when we get there and let us choose where we want to sit. I love that! Inside is really nice, although we've never chosen to sit there because we're usually down in this area during the summer. I had the Huevos Rancheros. I love the way they serve theirs with the fresh avocado, and the black beans on the side with the cojita cheese. Everything is always cooked perfectly and not overly seasoned. There are one or two restaurants that are passable for the area and would probably be a solid 3-3.5 out of 5. This place is a 5 out of 5. This place could be a 6 out of 5 compared to my local restaurants. And believe me, I took nearly two years of Spanish in high school, so I know a thing or two about a thing or two. I ordered fish tacos and my wife ordered the enchiladas verde (green) as takeout. When I got to the restaurant, I was greeted by three (tres) lads whereby one of them promptly handed me my order. When I pulled the food out of the bag back at the hotel, I was greeted with an absolute masterpiece of culinary art, the fish tacos. The red cabbage slaw covering the tacos, mixed with the sauce was beautiful (bonita) and vibrant. The enchiladas verde looked just as good, but were less vibrant in presentation. It seemed like the chefs cared about the product they were serving to their customers. The rice that came with the enchiladas had a great consistency and not dry at all - I can't stand dry rice. My wife said the enchiladas themselves were flavorful and seasoned very well and not the "suburban white lady" kind of seasoning. However, she doesn't write the reviews - I do - so I will talk about the fish tacos. There were three of them and I got them made with the corn tortillas (tortillas). Any fish taco I have ever had has always been small nuggets of fish smattered through the taco. These bad boys were absolute units where the entire bottom of the taco was one large fried piece of haddock, covered in a somewhat tangy sauce, and topped with red cabbage. The sauce and red cabbage made for a bit of a messy meal, so be prepared to get your hands dirty if you order this. I would not recommend getting these (or the enchiladas) if you had to drive down US Route 1 at the apparent local speed limit of 75 miles per hour and expected to just chow on some tacos while doing so. By the way,, what's with that, RI drivers? It's not the Autobahn. I had a RideOn bus 5 ft from my bumper while doing 70 on there yesterday. Calm down (or should I say 'clam down', amirite?). Anyway, this food was very good and next time I am in town, I would like to go there and sit down to eat while trying to ignore the fact that half the people around me here sound like Peter Griffin.
