Went there Tuesday, May 24th at 4 pm with a friend and they were closed. Why? No sign on door.

I ordered from Uber Eats and got steamed pork Gyoza which were pretty good and Pad Thai. I am giving this review 2 stars because of the "Pad Thai." Ive had many Pad Thai dishes in my lifetime and most have been good and several have been very good. I've had some that were bland, but not gross. The Pad Thai at Sabai Thai was not good... no beuno! The chicken was hard, there was something that was crunchy but like cardboard at the same time and I was sitting there trying to get whatever it was out of my back tooth. This has always been our favorite spot for thai food. nothing has changed, the food was still just as amazing, even under new owners. I see a few bad reviews that cite slow service but chalk that up to a one time mishap. No issues here. My go to is the pineapple fried rice, spicy! Never disappoints. With the addition of sushi, the menu now has something for everyone. Great food and a nice quiet family atmosphere. We have been coming here for years and it's just as good now. read more

LOVE this place. Large portions, great ambiance and wonderful service. I've had a couple of the curries and my date always gets the fried rice in the pineapple bowl (seriously huge, you could portion it out for lunch for the week but I'm always too hungry to do that). I even convinced my date to try curry, which he never had before, and he LOVED it- more than his usual pound of fried rice. It's a true, authentic restaurant and I love that it isn't too noisy. When we've gone it's always been packed, but there aren't many seats available so it wouldn't be that great for a large group. I can't wait to try everything else on the menu, and make sure you try some of the Asian beers they carry and a Thai Iced Tea! *I will say that I didn't give it 5 stars because our orders for pickup are always wrong, but that could be a language barrier or just not knowing everything that's on the menu. Quaint corner restaurant with whimsical decor and super attentive and friendly staff! In the 30-40 minutes here a family that seem to frequent the place came in, and 6 people have come in for takeout, mostly the dining lounge was empty- FINE BY ME! Lol... Ordered the Yum Woon Sen Salad with Shrimp at level 1 spice, and preemptively added more spice at the very beginning thinking I couldn't taste the spice. Little did I know that the spice was at the heart of the dish, and it turned into a spice level of HOLY SHIT! Lol BUT, that being said, the salad was great*! With a citrusy pang, juicy tomatoes, spring onion, carrot and perfectly cooked shrimp and glass noodles... ended up ordering sushi rolls to go and some Thai donuts cause why the hell not? OMG run, don't walk, to Sabai Thai. The salmon mango sushi melts in your mouth. My friend and I devoured the beef basil bowl, it was out of this world, especially with the special thai spice mmmmm I live in Delray but am more than happy to drive to Boynton to get all the food there. read more

One of my favorite Thai restaurants! Have been going to this place since it opened and the food has been consistent each year I visit Florida. The wonton soup, chicken dumplings and chicken with snow peas is fantastic. Have tried in vain to find Thai food as good in New York City to no avail. The staff and owner are the most friendly and remember me by name even though I only make it there once or twice a year. Really fun nautical interior adds to the experience. I've tried almost every Thai restaurant in the area and this is by far the best. According to the website there are new owners since September 2017. The original owner and cooks were the entire reason this restaurant was amazing. According to other reviews here quality has gone down since they sold the restaurant. Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had! The chicken fried rice is amazing , the wonton soup speechless. A little pricey but u get what u pay for . The only negative I find is, they don't give u the chilli powder anymore which I looked forward to every time I ordered pickup. It's not crushed red pepper flakes . That is upsetting every time now . Right around the corner from my house, easy parking. Love the food here. They almost always bring it complimentary edamame. I always start with chicken coconut soup, just the right amount of spice. I had something similar to namsod for dinner, minced chicken over a bed of lettuce, very flavourful and delicious! Service is always fast and friendly, great neighborhood place. read more

Very good Thai food and sushi as well as friendly service. The soups are good and appetizers are good, if only a tad oily when fried. Panang Curry is great, you can eat that sauce with a spoon like a soup. All in all, I do like this place and I want it to survive this pandemic. Which brings me to my final point, if I order online, and pay online, why would you make me touch the communal pen, table to sign a receipt? That is the whole reason to pay online these days. We ordered takeout. Food was great and ready on time. They have a few vegan options, so ask about them when you order.

As far as Thai goes, this place is underwhelming. The tacky beach themed interior leaves a lot to be desired. The bubble teas are made from an artificial powder. The water smelled like chlorine so we had to order a bottle. The crab rangoons oozed oiled, but the garlic cabbage was really delicious. Char-grilled and flavorful. The curry was fine, it had a nice heat, but the vegetable choice in it was strange and included pineapple. The ginger saute dish with tofu was way too salty. The tofu was cooked well. This place, I imagine, has a satisfactory takeaway, but life is too short to pay to eat food this mediocre. read more

My rating isn't on food quality because it was delicious, it's for the huge misunderstanding when ordering my meal due to the confusing menu and server who didn't bother explaining it to me. I ordered what was called "PHO2 Kiew Teaw Kai" description: "chicken, Chinese broccoli, bean sprout, scallions, cilantro and crispy garlic" this is under the section of the menu that says "Noodle Pho Soup." So I say "I'm getting Pho2" and pointed straight to it so she knew what I was ordering. She seemed very confused and said "green curry?" I said "curry???? I thought this was pho. It says pho." She said "Pho, ok I know what you want, it's not on this menu." And I said "Where's the menu?" She said "it's ok, I know what you want, pho in the big bowl." I said ".....uh ok" after this happened I KNEW I was not getting anything close to what I pointed to on the menu. I told my boyfriend hopefully I liked whatever I got since I'm not picky... but wtf??? So guess what I got? Beef and meatball pho. It's the opposite of chicken but it was really good. I don't know if I'd ever come back simply because I don't even know what I'd be ordering. So this is to tell you guys you need a menu that explains what you're selling. If it says you're selling chicken pho and it's actually curry soup, you need to explain that. I'm still not sure if your server or your menu was incorrect. Since the owner sold the restaurant in September, the quality of food and service has gone down. We had lunch there 2 weeks ago and waited so long for our lunch. I figured they are trying to work out the kinks because of there being new owners. Tonight I thought I'd give them another try and go back to the restaurant for dinner. I was highly disappointed. The Chicken Pad Thai had no flavor and lacking sauce. My sushi roll came our after everyone was finished with their dinner. Needless to say we will not be going back. What a shame. read more

Was really solid. Oddly hardy portions compared to a lot of other Thai restaurants I've been to. Don't be afraid of ordering your dish "Native Thai Hot," if you want spicy. It's not the face-melting heat you may fear it to be. I would give this five stars, but I just recently ate at Thai Keflavik (http://thaikeflavik.is/english/english_frontpage.html) in Iceland, and that was the best Thai food I've ever had. Wow!!! The best pad Thai I've ever had. I love taro boba tea too. My boyfriend enjoyed his crispy duck so much. It's truly a hidden gem. They also have various kinds of noodle bowls in the menu. Sabai Thai is a bike ride from my house which makes it all the more convenient to pick up my favorite Thai dish, papaya salad! I ordered take out a few times before I finally sat down and had a meal there. It's is a small restaurant, generally quite busy on a Friday evening. It is in a very discreet shopping plaza, if you don't look for it you may miss it. I was soooo excited to find that they have papaya salad along with other very authentic Thai dishes. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and the serving was huge. It made for two additional meals when I brought it home. My fiance had the yellow curry which he completely polished off because it was so wonderful. The highlight of the meal was the dessert. Was hungry and decided to eat Thai tonight. Boyfriend been coming here for years apparently so I decided to give it a go. Service was welcoming and courteous. The beef salad was tender and yummy but slightly lacked flavor. The raw shrimp dish(Goong Chaire Nampla) was pretty good but lacked toppings to help compliment the flavor. I was extremely excited about the yellow curry but was disappointed. I asked for medium but tasted very mild. And the curry was way too sweet, probably should've gotten the red curry. Got the mango sticky rice for dessert and absolutely loved it!!!! Yummm!!! Overall I enjoyed it. Will come back but will not get the yellow curry again. read more

Quick and attentive service with a nice ambiance and ok food. This Thai place seemed like they had converted an older fish restaurant by throwing a fresh coat of paint and keeping the moldings and flooring. Not very Vegan or Gluten-Free friendly but the staff is willing to work with what they have to accommodate special dietary needs. Apparently they can do one or the other but both equals a bit of a short circuit. Had Chicken Drunken Noodles which were subtly flavored with peppers, onions, and tomato. The tomato put me off a bit as I'm not a big fan of tomatoes just thrown into a pan/wok and sautéed. Plenty of peppers, onions, and chicken with a single stray tomato. Overall, not bad. I was there with family for an early dinner, Mom got a Chicken Pad See Ew and Dang was that good. My whole dining experience would have been significantly elevated had I been dining on that. Staff felt bad about the GF/Vegan business and gave us some Edemame on the house plus all the entrees came with a small side of white rice to up the carbs. Props read more
