A friend works next door and recommended this place. We went for lunch on a Saturday. We tried several different dishes. To start we ordered the gyoza and thai dumplings. Both were delicious, the gyoza are pan fried dumplings while the others are steamed. On the recommendation of our very knowledgable and friendly server, I tried the pad see eew, which is a flat noodle and you can customize your level of spice. I went with the medium spice which wasn't quite spicy enough so I would go up in that department next time. I also tried the eel roll and hubby had the green curry which was slightly sweet and very tasty. For now they get a 2 star and they're pretty lucky at that. I ordered stir fry with the bean thread noodles and mixed vegetables. I was told the mixed vegetables were something totally different then onion and peppers. So I asked nicely if they could remake it. That was the problem. My order was rushed and when I saw the chicken it was raw. I finally asked for a simpler dish, chicken fried rice, and I could barely eat because i was disgusted. Great place! Food is amazing. Finally checked them out with my kids after passing by them for almost two years! It was such a good experience that we ate there two days in a row! We found out they just started serving sushi. We actually were their first customer to order a sushi boat! Pretty cool. The sushi chef is great! Both days he sent our table special sushi pieces to try while we were waiting for our food. We honestly feel like family there. My kids and I were joking about the family feel while we were at the table when one of the managers came to our table to see how we were doing and then proceeded to explain how they aim to treat everyone like family! Can't comment on the restaurant experience as I ordered deliver through Delivery Dudes. Was looking for a new Thai spot and was hoping this would be it. Nah. The Pad See Ew was by far the worst I've had. I'm used to traditional wide noodles...these just seemed like regular egg noodles or something. The noodles were sticky and the dish was flavorless. The sushi rolls we had were ok, but overall, this place just didn't hit the spot. I'm left regretting the amount of money we spent on this takeout. And lastly...they use styrofoam containers for their takeout, so that's a turnoff for me. read more

Don't judge by it's small exterior because this place has grand flavors. We came with an appetite for sushi and left extremely satisfied. Started with their Krab Ragoon's which were better than many we've tried. Then had a classic JB tempura roll and two house specialty rolls, the Sabai Dynamite and Hello Kitty roll, both which were delicious. Serving sizes were large and therefore had to take most of our dynamite roll home (2 meals for the price of 1, yes please). Staff made us feel at home and atmosphere very cozy. Sushi chef even sent us a sample of their Tuna Taro at the end of our meal, and we were very surprised at how yummy it tasted, a complete experience with many flavor profiles. I think the best part about this restaurant happens to be the noodle dishes. My wife is from Thailand and we have been eating noodles at various Thai restaurants around the country over the years, and this one really ranks in the top three for the quality of the noodles and the authentic taste of the noodle dishes. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Lake Worth. I love Thai food, but it is hard to find good Thai food that is fresh, affordable, and tasty. Sabai Thai fits the bill on all accounts. With other ethnic foods, I am very diverse in what I try. I can eat tacos or burritos, lasagna or spaghetti, pancakes or omelets. But, with Thai food, I ALWAYS get chicken pad thai. This is how I judge a great Thai restaurant. With Irish food, its Shepherds Pie. With Cuban, it is the Bistec de Pollo. With Thai food, it is the chicken pad thai. I prefer mine with 5 stars. The pad thai here is absolutely delicious. The serving size is larger enough for 1.5 people (which is normal size for my large appetite). The owners of this place are super nice. Ordered their Red Curry Chicken dinner to go. $15. I received my curry dinner portion in a container 1/2 the size (pint vs quart container)I'm used to receiving from Thai restaurants in Delray or NYC. The Red Curry is extremely watery. Pretty shallow in taste, other than the red chili pepper. Not enough of the creamy coconut milk going on. Not absolutely terrible, not great. Definitely not enough of a portion for what they charge. This place is 5 minutes from my house, but I'll wait until I'm passing a place in Delray, next time. read more

Our culinary journey began with a spicy, fresh papaya salad as well as the crispy, savory chivcake both were delicious. The appetizers were impressive, but the SUSHI was out of this world! We tried the "last Christmas roll". This roll was the perfect mixture with fresh tuna, eel, seaweed salad and avocado. Then came the Panang curry. I was expecting it to be a thicker consistency, however, that expectation was quickly silenced when my taste buds popped with flavor!
