The website clearly says $3.99/lb, but when I went to pay, they tried to charge $5.99/lb. When I pointed out the online price, they literally asked me, "How much do you want to pay?" and then randomly settled on $4.99/lb. Dishonest, careless, and unprofessional. There were no loose seams or signs that it had been altered at all and fit wonderfully on the day of the wedding. I brought in a pair of shorts to have the bottoms shortened with a new folded hem. When I picked them up, I noticed a large knot on the front that couldn't be removed. Later at home, I found a 2" section on the back where the fabric was folded under the hem, which looked like a mistake. Neither of these issues was mentioned to me upfront by the owner. Additionally, I've found the customer service and tone from the owner over time to be less than friendly sometimes, which made this experience even more frustrating. If I had known about these issues beforehand, I wouldn't have spent $25 on the alterations. Overall, I expected better communication and quality, so I don't plan to return.
