They have slimmed down the menu quite a bit. Usually I like when a restaurant focuses on the things they do well. However, this menu change resulted in changing a good restaurant to average. Food was decent. Service not ok what they try to do here. We order a seafood plate called agua chile , the server asked if we wanted a mix with not only shrimp but adding octopus, as heard by the sever that was an option we agreed to have them make a mix. Then when we wanted to place the order for the entree, I asked if it could be mixed shrimp and octopus , it was another sever who said to adding octopus will be an up charge for $12. The other never never mentioned or told us . When they brought the check they added automatic 20% tip gratuity. We told the server we were not very happy and wanted to leave only 15% tip and she got very upset and rude. Very sad this was my first time with them and last. read more

Was passing through on my way to California and due to the weather we had to stay. Did a quick check through Yelp to find something and this popped up. We got there and the place was empty. Usually never a good sign but it was like an hour til closing. We ordered chips with salsa, aguachiles verde, tacos de carnitas (4 to an order) and steak tampiquena. Everything was tasty. We also ordered a beer, two shots of herradura tequila and a coke. Prices weren't bad. I've had these dishes before and I can make a couple of the things I ordered. The Steak tampiquena I e had at a few restaurants in NY and were much better. And came in a red sauce. This one was a super thin steak that came with a chicken mole flauta and they spread that salsa over everything. Not a fan. read more

Good food that's on the pricer side (somewhat expected given the area). They have a big menu and I think are known for their seafood. I'd highly recommend the carne asada burrito. They missed the mark with the fajitas - the chicken wasn't flavorful. Also, to manage expectations, chips and salsa are sold separately. Overall, location is ideal and our meal was solid fuel after a long ski day. read more

We were looking something new and were in the mood for Mexican. We were not disappointed with our choice. Tucked in the City Market perking lot, not easy to find but very good food, guacamole was so creamy, large portions, friendly staff and creative decor. We made our most recent pilgrimage and were disappointed. The interior has been renovated (which looks great) but they also redid their menu (which is not so great). The new menu has many fewer items (probably 50-60% of the old one) and the quality of the food was noticeably lower than 6 months ago. They now charge for chips and salsa, and the chips we ordered were stale (and much more "store bought" than previously). The cost of many menu items has also gone up considerably which is understandable but we were disappointed the quality went down. Additionally, portions have gone down as well (2 enchiladas instead of 3). We are disappointed our favorite Mexican restaurant in Dillon is no longer. It's not terrible but it's just not great. read more

I was searching for an authentic Mexican restaurant and boy did we find the best one around here! Great atmosphere. Their drinks were AMAZING! I'm very particular about margaritas and these guys nailed it. Pricing fits what you are getting (not over or under priced). Their food was all homemade, came out fast, and was absolutely delicious. EAT HERE! As a local, there are a lot of Mexican restaurants in Summit County. This place is my favorite. The seafood enchiladas are soooo good. (Landlocked seafood, I know. But still good) The servers are always friendly and I've never had a bad meal here. Spring skiing, Summit buzzing and surprisingly, we were seated very quickly on a Saturday night at 7pm. We were greeted with a smile from the Host and quick service from our waitress. Love the decor, and the unassuming location....part of a strip mall. BUT don't let that fool you! If you want fresh, not your normal Mexican fare restaurant, this is the place for you. Starting margaritas put huge smiles on our faces, so you know they weren't watered down. The salt on the rim was also sprinkled with a red spice. I don't know what it was, but I do know that I like it! We ordered the seafood enchiladas and the Mazatlan taco salad. This isn't your ordinary taco salad. Think shrimp fajitas, with the perfect cook, seasoning and portion. Each bit was succulent. My husband said that he'd never had so much yummy seafood inside a seafood enchilada, and mind you, he's eaten lots of enchiladas. We were able to see other entrees that people had ordered and all were so beautifully prepared, a feast for the eyes for sure. I live north of Denver and came up for the week. I just finished my meal (the Super Burrito with steak and a side of grilled jalapeños) and wow!!! First off, this place is way larger then it looks from the outside. There is a ton of seating and it is beautifully decorated, accented with beautiful blues and warm wood floors and walls. My server, Ana, was as friendly as could be, and the food was ridiculously good. I am a foodie and grew up in So. Cal., eating great Mexican food.
