Met a friend for a drink. They make really good margaritas!! We also spilt the steak and another tapas. Everything was good. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The place had a steady clientele. The World Cup was on the TV and popular. I recommend!

Came for happy hour and enjoyed a nice and calm tapas meal. The ambiance was really pretty, decorated to celebrate the world cup. The service was okay, the waitress didn't come to the table often so we had to wait for her return often even though it wasn't too many people dining. Would return though because the food was flavorful and fresh.

A tasty all you can eat brunch with great items and mimosa deal! I enjoyed most of what I ordered except for perhaps the picada, which was still good but a bit too salty for my liking. Pleasantly surprised with the other dishes though. Service was kind and attentive, especially with food allergies. Place wasn't packed when we came too which surprised me. I do want to try this spot again!

Such an amazing brunch! I'm not usually into all you can eat but theirs is a good value and has a huge array of options. Plus you can get $1 (on) and $2 (flavored) mimosas with the brunch. We tried many flavors and all were great: blackberry, strawberry, passion fruit, guava, lulo...! My fav food item was prob the arepitas, sooo fluffy and tasty. The waffles are excellent too. My party overall particularly loved the patacones and fried zucchini. And basically everything we tried lol. Nice little plates so you can try many things.

Unfortunately I only have my desserts to show but that just says how good the food was! - I didn't even think to take a picture until I was done. Sabores is a great spot for friends, dates, family meals - the owners/managers are so welcoming, you know you're being taken care of the minute you walk in. On both occasions my table has ordered a variety of meats (cooked to perfection) and other tapas. Desserts are just the "icing on the cake". I'd recommend Sabores to anyone, already thinking about when I'll return too

One of the best happy hours in arlington! $6 margaritas that taste amazing. I love both the steaks and the chimichurri is so fresh tasting. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is lovely.

After seeing that Sabores made Yelp top places I had to see for myself. I love going to tapa bars and love Spanish food. I came here during the week. Construction all over Columbia Pike but luckily there's a garage nearby that's free for the 1st hour, plus they will validate. Their menu choices are slim as compared to other Spanish tapa bars in the area. The ambiance was not there. Not romantic or cozy. .. I hoping to hear Flamenco music,or classic Latin music not reggaeton btw, I love reggaeton!! and I frowned when they were playing Bad Bunny and J Blavin . Like would you like to listen to Bad Bunny while your eating paella? I had their lunch menu special pick 3 for $24 which I thought was reasonable. I chose .potato tortilla croquettes Steak. the tortilla de patatas was decent. It was almost cold. I didn't wanna make a fuss but was disappointed at 12:30pm why would it be served cold? The flavors were ok and I like how the potato's were thinly sliced but it would have been more enjoyed if it was served hot. The croquettes which are my favorite tapas and I was looking forward to devouring it ... was mid. It lacked flavor and heavily breaded and seemed that it was deep fried in old oil because the coating of my croquettes were almost dark brown. I barely tasted any chicken. Jaleo/Spanish Diner have better croquettes. The steak.... was meh although I asked for medium rare.. it wasn't served hot. And could use more flavor. Service was impeccable which why I give it 3.5 stars . My waiter was very attentive to me, but I do agree that they try to push dessert too much... besides the choices were pretty slim.. after been disappointed on all 3 dishes of my meal. I declined. For lunch time and it wasn't busy. I dont understand why food was served almost cold. I dont know. Compared to other tapas restaurants in the area fell below my expectations. Boqueria Jaleo and Arrels would be my suggestions. I might give it another shot but they need to improve..

    Gambas Al Ajillo

Our dinner last night at Sabores was one of the best meals we have had in a long long time. Sabores means flavors in English, and I can say to you that the flavors of every dish were great! Service was absolutely fabulous. The best dish of the night was the Gambas Al Ajillo (garlic shrimp). The shrimp arrived in a bowl atop a most exquisite chili oil/sauce. The shrimp came with two large slices of a perfect rustic bread. The chili sauce was perfect for dipping the bread. We really liked how the manager/owner came over and chatted with us for a bit and described how the chili oil was prepared. When we expressed our pleasure he brought us out more bread. Yes!! If you like gazbacho, you'll love Sabores's version of this chilled soup. Topped with bits of crispy Serrano ham and crumbled hard-boiled egg, this dish was excellent. Also, it was served in a hefty quantity. The arepitas were excellent as well. I probably didn't experience the full joy of this dish because I requested that they not include the meat, which can be either shredded beef or chicken. I asked them to hold the meat because they were honest and told me their meats included my old friend cilantro. The Espinacas de Catalina (spinach) was wonderful. The fresh cooked spinach was perfect and came with little raisins and generous bits of apple and walnut. Perhaps this dish could have stood a little less oil. Still, I'll definitely order again. The skirt steak churrasco was perfect, cooked and seasoned just right. The chimichurri sauce that came with the churrasco was tasty. Since we were on a roll with the great dishes, I then ordered the Dátiles con Tocino (bacon-wrapped dates). These little wonders had a pleasant slightly smoky flavor, and perhaps a bit different than bacon-wrapped dates you've had, these were made with a light batter and were fried. Ah, with so many other dishes to explore on the menu, we'll be back. This was actually our second visit, so we know our good fortune here was no fluke.

The manager handing us the mini arepas for the wonderful teaches at our school!
    Gradiva J.

Sabores generously provided a delicious donation of mini arepas for our school's teachers, and it was truly appreciated. The manager was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the process. Every visit we've had there has been a positive experience. Not only are the managers welcoming, but the entire staff consistently creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I am the worlds pickiest eater. I did not try one bad thing. 10/10 recommend their unlimited brunch. It was affordable ($32pp). This is a great way to try different foods from different Latin American countries.

    Seafood Paella (Paella de Mariscos)
    Loan L.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty slow. Our server was accommodating and gave us great recommendations, definitely didn't disappoint. The interior is pretty cute, we got offer a few seating options, which was nice. I was looking forward to try the paella, a little disappointed, if it was cooked a little longer it would've been perfect. Other than that, i love the mini arepas, and the chickpeas. I definitely would still come again.

I walked in, from the street where construction was ongoing, and it was still super busy inside. From the bar to the dining area. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good courses came out at a nice soles to prevent getting too full too fast. Their Red sangria was nice, light and tasty. Ended up with the Ceviche Camarones. A little fire with a creamy finish with the side of plantains. Nice. Tapas are delightful. Different options for different tastes. They have a delicious looking dessert menu too. I didn't partake this time because I have to get up early for work tomorrow but... I definitely plan to come back for coffee and dessert!!! The bar is quite lively, so if you want a more quiet area, choose the dining area. They keep the place clean while you are dining. A quiet gentleman was walking around sweeping quickly and heading to the next area. Very chill and nice place to come and feel like you are an important guest. I liked that they were also polishing their drink glasses. They all shine at the bar. No water marks.

We went on a Saturday night and made a reservation, which I'd definitely recommend. The space is so unique and artsy. The walls are covered with beautiful artwork (some of which you can actually purchase), and even the menus are works of art. It made the whole experience feel fun and creative. The staff was wonderful, especially our server Noah, who was incredibly attentive and made the experience even better. We did the bottomless dinner, and the value is honestly unbeatable. We tried the grilled gem lettuce, marinated cucumbers, street corn, hoisin-glazed pork belly bao buns, P22 cheeseburger sliders, spicy shrimp & pancetta pizza, funghi pizza, dan dan noodles, rigatoni norcina, and the sesame steak skewers. Everything was delicious, but the standouts were the dan dan noodles (rich, savory, and packed with flavor), the funghi pizza (crispy with earthy mushrooms and perfectly melted cheese), and the sesame steak skewers (tender, juicy, and coated in a flavorful sesame glaze). The hoisin-glazed pork belly bao buns were soft, fluffy, and packed with melt-in-your-mouth pork, while the rigatoni norcina was creamy, comforting, and perfectly cooked. The grilled gem lettuce was also a fresh, flavorful way to start the meal. For drinks, the white sangria and pomegranate ginger mocktail were both refreshing and delicious. Dessert didn't disappoint either, the flourless chocolate cake (with candied pecans instead of hazelnuts) was rich without feeling too heavy, and the churros were light, crispy, and perfect with the caramel and chocolate dipping sauces. We finished with cappuccinos, which were the perfect ending to the meal. 10/10 experience, we'll definitely be back!

I decided to give it another shot after they brought back their bottomless dinner and introduced a few new menu items. We opted for the bottomless option and ended up trying almost everything on the menu. Unfortunately, nothing really stood out enough for me to order a second time. The biggest surprise was the butter chicken, which had corn mixed into it for some reason. The street corn was also disappointing, lacking the flavor I was expecting. The lumpia and shrimp tacos were decent but fairly forgettable. The dishes I enjoyed the most were the Cubano sliders and the steak skewers, but my favorite plate of the night was actually the chilled udon noodles. They were refreshing, well-balanced, and one of the few dishes I'd happily order again. One thing Palette 22 continues to do well is the atmosphere. The restaurant has a fun, artsy vibe with colorful murals, paintings, and graffiti covering the walls, making it an enjoyable place to spend an evening. The service was also efficient. We were allowed to order two small plates per person at a time, and each round arrived quickly, so there was very little waiting between orders. Overall, I think Palette 22 is worth trying at least once, especially if you go for the bottomless dinner/brunch. The value is much better than ordering the same dishes à la carte. That said, because the menu doesn't change very often, repeat visits can start to feel repetitive. Unless they significantly refresh the menu, I probably won't be returning again anytime soon.

It was a unique cherry and almond flavored drink while my friend went for a cucumber type drink. Both great. We shared 4 tapas which were surprisingly quite large and ended up being plenty for the both of us. We did patatas bravas, mushroom croquettes, fried manchego, and calamari. The tapas were good/average but nothing to rave about. Our bill came to about $120 which is probably about standard now but felt overpriced for what we got. They do a 20% service charge with 5% being operational and only 15% going to staff. Not my favorite...I dont mind a service charge but burying an operational charge into it made us confused on whether the expectation was to still tip or not. I wish restaurants were more transparent about this. I wouldn't come back for a full dinner but drinks were nice and service was great so I'd consider spotting in for a happy hour if in the area. Worth a try overall. I hope they consider giving their servers the full 20% of the service charge. 5% for operations should really be baked into the prices or otherwise listed separately.

I ordered because based on what I read about the restaurant I felt they would do it well.. and they did! The potatoes needed a touch of salt for us, but we are salt people. The Croquetas were so creamy and delicious with the garlic shrimp. The cream cheese on the toast set off the flavors of the carleized onions and whisky reduction pork. The coup de grâce was the Cheesecake desset. It was warm and a combo of airy and dense. The granny smith apples on the side were tart and pallet clensing. So good! We also received shirtbread cookies and a chocolate cookie thing that were delicious! The prices are on the expensive side, but definitely worth it. Great place for sharung and date night.
