Don't ever try to order through Uber Eats here. If you order one minute past 8 o clock or you will be charged and they will not deliver to you. After calling they are very rude and don't care about you, the customer. To the owner, post something on Uber eats that says you can't order past 8pm, we have to now go through the horrible process of trying to get a refund from Uber eats. Oh and we ordered at 8:02 pm. Our family used to support this restaurant, we've been eating here since they were over on FM620. We were so excited when they came back & are now on Anderson Mill Rd. However HORRIBLE customer service has completely turned us off & we just can't do it any more. They're evening shift customer svc is THE WORST. And God forbid that you call to place a pick up order - good luck! They're so unprofessional, no greeting nothing - just Saccone's hold & you're sent to external oblivion for no less than 10 mins. If you hang up & call back, they don't even answer with "saccones" it's just direct to hold music. The female that works there is atrocious. Man this place is my new favorite pizza place in Austin. Just tried them for the first time last night. We got the cheese pizza, the margarita, and the Dan's special. All were exceptional. The fresh basil and the delicious sauce really brought it home for me. Excellent sausage on the Dan's special. I even had some leftover cold pizza today and it was still great. The mom and dad's pizza had a really good crust. However, the lack of sauce is cruel and unbearable treatment. I added sausage to our pizza and the cashier did mention that it would be lighter because of the crust. I'm confused being from Chicago I enjoy our thin crusts square cut pizzas that do not skimp on toppings. Pretty damn good pizza. Can be a bit soggy with all of those amazing toppings and doesn't hold up well in the reheat. But all in all one of the local go-tos for 'za. Price is a bit high, but the quality and quantity come close to justifying it. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu once they get back to full service. read more

I've had pizza like this before...in NYC. Basically, it's the perfect slice. The sauce is REALLY good. Simple and flavorful, tasted very fresh and bright. Not sweet at all. I can't stand tomato sauce that is sweet or has too much going on. I'd bet money that it's someone's family secret sauce recipe. The crust is really nice, too. Not too thick, chewy, crunchy, perfectly baked. The cannoli was probably the best I've had in years. My husband asked me to share, and I did because I love him...but to be clear: I did not want to. Honestly, the best pizza this side of Austin... perhaps in all of Austin. I wish their pizza wasn't so good because I end up eating way too much of it whenever we get it. In our house we literally measure all other pizza against Saccone's. Saccone's had been our go-to place for a good pizza for years (all the way back to the 183 location). We took friends there. We took family. And, everyone loved it. When they closed the 620 location we were lost. We tried other pizza places and none of them could compare. We were so happy when we saw they were reopening nearby. My only complaints are that they only have limited menu (I really miss their antepasta salad) and their new location doesn't have a dine-in option (they have a couple of tables, that's it). They are only slightly more than the national chains and SOOO much better. read more

I was craving some NY style pizza and I work nearby so I decided to give this place a shot for the first time. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni, got there 10 mins later, paid and waited a few more minutes until they brought it to my truck. I didn't mind the wait, when I ordered it was estimated 20-25 mins. Before pulling away I realized there was no pepperoni on my slices. I went inside, they apologized, gave me something like 10 or 20% back to my credit card, and then re-made my order with new slices with pepperoni AND gave me an extra slice. Even though I already had a crappy day I really couldn't be mad. I realize mistakes happen. We're human and they were busy so that's life. Why 5 stars even though my order was wrong? They handled it correctly and remedied it quickly. Can't ask for more than that. 5/5 - Will eat again. read more

Amazing pizza! I used to go to Saccones way back in the day when they had another location off of 183 that burnt down. I was so excited to hear this new location exists. Great Jersey style pizza, no frou frou BS, just good ol classic Jersey pizza that tastes perfect. Being from the PA/NJ/NY area originally, I'm always on the hunt for a little piece of home here in Texas, and I think I've found it. I decided to go with what Saccone's claim to be known for: pizza. I stuck with a traditional half cheese, half pepperoni pizza (best of both worlds). I found the pizza to be an excellent NJ/NY style pie... The crust was thin and crispy. The ratio of sauce to cheese to toppings I felt was the perfect amount. There was a decent amount of cheese, without being too much. Since we are in Covid times, I feel I need to add some extra info into the review. I ordered through the saccones/hungerrush website. The main page has all pertinent information like hours, phone number, and previous real pizza orders. It looks like the menu presented from the main Saccones website page is presenting the entire pre-Covid menu. However upon digging into the Saccones hungerrush website, it looks like the Leander location is offering most of what's on the main menu, and the Research Blvd location is offering only a fraction of that. Upon arriving to the location, I was greeted by staff. The person behind the counter was wearing a mask, and they made it a point to mention that the pens to sign for the order were disinfected.
