    Cheesecake, side view
    Heather B.

I really enjoyed my sausage and pepperoni pizza. The crust was nice and chewy, and the toppings had some crunch. The sausage was nice and spicy like Italian sausage should taste. Mangia! Leftovers were delicious as well. On to desserts: cheesecake was your standard fare, nothing of note. The cannoli was a terrific size for an individual portion and the cream had a mild sweet flavor. The crust was nice and very flaky. My only complaint is that some of the crust seemed a bit over cooked. On to tiramisu: I did not enjoy this at all. I am not sure if the mascarpone was off, the ladyfingers weren't soaked long enough, or if it was that there was only one layer of ladyfingers that threw it off. Regardless, it was not good. I do not recommend ordering this dessert. That said, please go to this restaurant for the pizza! That's the reason to go anyway and the pizza ROCKS!

    Paneer Pizza with Spicy Sauce
    Shradha A.

I had hoped this would be like a paneer pizza from any fast food chain in India. And that was the case, mostly. The person at the store was really helpful in answering our questions and guiding us to an order we were happy with. The medium size spicy paneer was comfortable for 2, but if you're really hungry a large size could work too. The flavors were good and the amount of paneer topping was generous. The crust isn't flatbread thin - it's not crispy - but yes, it doesn't have much rise to it. But it also doesn't get soggy - we had our pizza about 30 minutes after picking it up. My only reason to hold back one star is the price. I thought it was a bit high - so it makes this a lovely novelty option but wish I could say it's everyday value.

    Meat lasagna, tiramisu
    Angela W.

Everything tasted fresh but the meat sauce in the lasagna was too salty for me and the children. The lasagna is decent sized like other restaurants and could indeed feed 2 people. Although we weren't really impressed with the lasagna, the tiramisu was really good though, good portion size for what it's worth and the espresso was strong. Maybe we'll try their pizza next time.

Was in the area doing some shopping and walking back to my car, they had a sign for a special personal pizza with two toppings for $5. It smelled good from outside do I couldn't help but stop in. It seems to be family owned and the whole family works there, they were super nice and friendly. The pizza is made to order, you can see them getting the dough ready. There is some seating inside and outside. I took mine to go but was able to grab a sit while I waited. The pizza was done fairly quickly and it was cooked perfectly. It was delicious and a great value for your money. I would definitely pop in here again and grab a bit to eat.

    Spicy Paneer Pizza

This place is best for take out than dine in. It's a small place with a few tables. We got the Spicy Paneer and Corn Pesto Pizza along with Garlic Knots. The Spicy Paneer was better than the Corn Pesto. If you're looking for a pizza with some Indian touch you will surely like this place. Tip: If you check in with Yelp you will get 20% off. There's also free dessert/appetizer if you order a large pizza (Carry out only)

    Butter sauce pizza

I got the butter chicken sauce pizza and as a lover of both pizza and butter chicken, it was disappointing. Pretty bland crust and you could barely taste the sauce. Overall great idea and not great execution.

FOUR FORMAGI (V) MOZZARELLA CHEESE, BLUE CHEESE, PARMESAN, GOAT CHEESE, PEAR, WALNUTS, AND SPICY HONEY.
    Stephanie A.

I have ordered pizza a few times here through Lunch Drop and have never been disappointed. I have tried the Hawaiian, Texan, and the Four Formagi pizzas all Personal Sized and on Thin Crust. Each Pizza I have had have been delicious and well worth ordering again. The ingredients are of high quality and they do not skimp on the cheese. I love their Thin Crust and the Personal size have always been filling for me. I love how they pile on those toppings. The variety of ingredients to top your pizza with is perfect and the flavors blend well complimenting each other for a well balanced dish! Next time I believe I will customize my own pizza. The quality and quantity make the prices well worth it - which is not even extreme at all. Thank you for delicious pizza, I will definitely order again and I highly recommend this place to all Pizza Lovers!

$5 special with Italian sausage and eggplant.
    Daphne G.

After an afternoon grocery shopping at Sprouts, I saw this Pizza place. Anyone who knows me, understands that my entirety of being is devoted to pizza and vegetables. So I decided to check this place out. Plus, I saw a sign for a $5 special for a personal pizza with two toppings. I thought to myself, "WHAT A STEAL!...Errr I mean, WHAT A DEAL!" I went up to the counter and told the nice cash register person I would like the $5 special that includes an 8" pizza with italian sausage and eggplant. She asked would I like it to dine in, or to go? I told her, "Woman, I am eating the pie here." Within 10-15 minutes, my pie was ready. Gleaming with cheese and italian sausage and be speckled with eggplant. From first impression, I noticed that the eggplant might be burnt. When I bit into it, my suspicions were confirmed. Maybe it was not such a good idea to have added eggplant as a topping. But alas...I digress. The rest of the pie was good despite the poor choice of burnt eggplant. Would I come here again? Not sure...

Make note of their hours as well because they are closed in middle of day. 4-8pm I'm the afternoon does not give a big window to choose your dining time. But the restaurant checks all the boxes. Great ambience. Fun indoor and outdoor seating. Tasty food. Big outdoor space for little ones to play. Convenient location. Decent pricing. The salads are served on big trays which makes sharing easy (even when I didn't really want to share my yummy tossed salad with toasted garbanzo beans and Chunks of fresh mozzarella and a super yummy dressing. The pasta and pizza tasted really good. From an owner of a few pizza places in Houston, I was disappointed in the crispness of the dough. I don't care for pizza that can hold its shape when being held. But if I just told myself it was bread instead- I enjoyed it. It was really the pasta and salad for me. We didn't try too much because we were actually surprised it was open. Many friends mentioned the desserts were to die for. Even Guy on DDD mentioned the caramel rolls were what cinnamon rolls wish they could be. He also LOVED the pastrami sandwiches. I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.
