Do you like explosive diarrhea and being sick for a whole day?? Then this is the place for you! Even before that, I was going to rate poorly. Here's why- 1. On GrubHub where I ordered, they have multiple restaurants - all same food. Just from a quick glance of the address - pizza guy, pizza Tikka, Indian pizza kitchen, naan stop pizza - all same thing. Same menu, slightly different pricing and running different promotions. Ultimately, it's all pizza day. If I were to guess, it's to prevent one restaurant from accumulating too many negative reviews. 2. In the same theme of dishonesty mentioned above, there are no inches mentioned on the sizes. By any measure, the large here will be considered a medium anywhere else. The prices are pretty steep too. You will find that out once the food is there and that will be the starting point of the disappointment to follow. 3. We ordered the large butter curry chicken pizza. There's so many things wrong with it, I don't know where to start. First - the chicken was smelly and disgusting. It must have been atleast a few days old or a frozen stock from months ago. The chicken wasn't seasoned & there was nothing butter-curry chicken about it. My expectations were that it would have butter chicken as a topping rather than bland smelly chicken. Secondly, there were butter chicken sauce in the base, but it wasn't particularly prominent or flavorful. It just didn't work. The whole thing felt kinda low quality and stale. My DW called it during eating that we will probably get sick afterwards. This is my punishment for not listening to her. Overall, this was pretty bad and I know I will never order from here again on purpose. This place does delivery and takeout, not much for dine in room. Regardless the workers were so so friendly and took time to suggest favorites for meat and vegetarian eaters. He definitely had a passion for what they do. I had the chicken tikka and tossed in onions. It had the flavor and like that it wasn't too much chicken as meat fills me up quickly. I really enjoyed my sausage and pepperoni pizza. The crust was nice and chewy, and the toppings had some crunch. The sausage was nice and spicy like Italian sausage should taste. Mangia! Leftovers were delicious as well. On to desserts: cheesecake was your standard fare, nothing of note. The cannoli was a terrific size for an individual portion and the cream had a mild sweet flavor. The crust was nice and very flaky. My only complaint is that some of the crust seemed a bit over cooked. On to tiramisu: I did not enjoy this at all. I am not sure if the mascarpone was off, the ladyfingers weren't soaked long enough, or if it was that there was only one layer of ladyfingers that threw it off. Regardless, it was not good. I had hoped this would be like a paneer pizza from any fast food chain in India. And that was the case, mostly. The person at the store was really helpful in answering our questions and guiding us to an order we were happy with. The medium size spicy paneer was comfortable for 2, but if you're really hungry a large size could work too. The flavors were good and the amount of paneer topping was generous. The crust isn't flatbread thin - it's not crispy - but yes, it doesn't have much rise to it. But it also doesn't get soggy - we had our pizza about 30 minutes after picking it up. My only reason to hold back one star is the price. I thought it was a bit high - so it makes this a lovely novelty option but wish I could say it's everyday value. read more

Was in the area doing some shopping and walking back to my car, they had a sign for a special personal pizza with two toppings for $5. It smelled good from outside do I couldn't help but stop in. It seems to be family owned and the whole family works there, they were super nice and friendly. The pizza is made to order, you can see them getting the dough ready. There is some seating inside and outside. I took mine to go but was able to grab a sit while I waited. The pizza was done fairly quickly and it was cooked perfectly. It was delicious and a great value for your money. I would definitely pop in here again and grab a bit to eat. read more

My fiancé and I have been here a few times when we go to Sprouts next door. This family owned business is consistently generous, kind, & knowledgeable about their pizza and ingredients. I have a gluten intolerance and the fact that they can serve me a normal size gluten free pizza that tastes just as good as non-gluten free for a reasonable price is enough for me! They also have both classic and unique pizza options that I haven't seen at other places. I would definitely pick this place over a chain like Pizza Hut any day! I have ordered pizza a few times here through Lunch Drop and have never been disappointed. I have tried the Hawaiian, Texan, and the Four Formagi pizzas all Personal Sized and on Thin Crust. Each Pizza I have had have been delicious and well worth ordering again. The ingredients are of high quality and they do not skimp on the cheese. I love their Thin Crust and the Personal size have always been filling for me. I love how they pile on those toppings. The variety of ingredients to top your pizza with is perfect and the flavors blend well complimenting each other for a well balanced dish! Next time I believe I will customize my own pizza. Placed an online order yesterday afternoon and waited 1.5 hours and still no pizza. I decided to call the business and no answer, not even an answering machine!? So I had to drive down to the pizza shop to find out WHERE IS MY ORDER!?! A sign on the door "CLOSED, NO A/C". So they took my money online (website said nothing about being closed) and they did not automatically refund the order if they saw it come in via square. After an afternoon grocery shopping at Sprouts, I saw this Pizza place. Anyone who knows me, understands that my entirety of being is devoted to pizza and vegetables. Even with all my nose-in-the-air nutrition snobbery, I have always been of the mind that pizza remains one of the few foods that can count grease as part of its charm. Incidentally, I could say the same thing about John Travolta, although I am not constantly faced with the dilemma of whether or not I should put him in my mouth. (Although I can't say the same for his wife or a few gay masseuses). In any event. I don't mind a nice, calorie-laden pepperoni pie now and then, but this time around I thought I might think outside of the [pizza] box. Promise Pizza is unassumingly nestled in the same Great Hills shopping center as Sprouts and Michael's. I've always meant to make it a point to stop at Promise after my errands of acquiring pistachio nuts at Sprouts or some completely unneeded hatboxes at Michael's, but I could never seem to muster the energy after I was through with those extremely taxing tasks. I found myself late for the 1:55 showing of "Snow White and the Huntsman", so I purchased my tickets for the 3:00 and decided to kill time at Promise. It all worked out, in that I needed to consume pre-cinema energy, as this would be a "working" movie; I had to be prepared to jot down pointers on how to be more of an evil queen than I already am. Promise is a tiny little place, with no more than a couple wrought iron tables outside and another couple of tables inside along with a bench. It isn't the most sprawling of set ups, and I felt a little "on display" while eating in such a small space, but for a pizza joint like this it kinda works. Their menu is pretty straight forward, with a selection of specialty pizzas or the ability to build your own. However, this is where Promise Pizza's claim to fame comes into play. Here is where you can choose from white or whole wheat crust; request gluten free crust; or, you can request Vegan toppings such as their Vegan cheese Daiya, a 100% plant based cheese that sounds interesting (for someone else to try). No matter what your selections, all doughs and toppings are listed as "organic and all natural without traces of pesticides, injected growth hormones, antibiotics or unnatural preservatives." Additionally, their mission statement includes a devotion to social responsibility, utilizing environmentally conscious facilities (Aha! That explains the no frills interior), along with their eco-friendly delivery cars. I'm actually quite shocked now to discover there is no pizza topped with granola here. I was drawn to The Lone Star, topped with "Texas-sized" pepperoni, Canadian bacon, mushroom, green Pepper, red onion, and tomato. And even though it was a dine-in order, Promise Pizza still delivered. (As a bonus, I was actually able to watch the guy make my pizza behind the counter). Every bite felt "clean" somehow. Maybe it was the fresh tomatoes, the generous helping of vegetables, and the fact there was little to no grease that contributed to this feeling. Thankfully for me, taste was not sacrificed on the altar of a crunchy, environmentally-friendly food deity...which happens so often in similar cases. Take a look at the picture I took and tell me that doesn't look delicious. Just a note: The employees were all friendly, relaxed, and laid back. They made sure to follow up and make sure I was indeed enjoying my meal. It was an exquisite pizza...one that was perfectly proportioned, leaving me feeling wholly satisfied, yet totally devoid of guilt. (BTW--Where can I find a man like that?) Promise Pizza: It's local, socially responsible, and clean eating at its tastiest. If you haven't been by, I "promise" you that you won't be disappointed (Sorry, I couldn't resist). Horrible. In town for work and decided to try their delivery. Ordered the blue cheese and pear pizza and the Mediterranean. Only special instruction? Please provide me with a receipt. Estimated wait time? 45-55 minutes. 1 hour and 45 minutes later, my pizza arrived. No receipt. The delivery man had no idea what to do when I asked for a receipt. I contacted eat24, which is who takes care of delivery ordered through yelp. They removed the "delivery charge" and emailed me a receipt. They wanted to provide me with $5 voucher for next time. I told them j wouldn't use their service again. The pear and blue cheese? Gross. Pear still had skin on it. The blue cheese was poor quality. The crust was slightly burned. There was supposed to be a spicy honey sauce, of which I found none. The Mediterranean: almost as bad. The olives were grey. No basil was to be found. The tomatoes were not fresh. Talk about being berated by an employee. I called in to order a pizza using a COUPON that THEY SENT out and was yelled at by the manager who obviously hates his job and or life... This Jerk stood in the background listening to the call commenting to the employee who took my order, snapping questions at him asking why I was questioning the price quoted. I want to understand the freaking price Jack hole... That's why I was asking. Don't get mad at me if your paycheck drops a penny because I ordered using the $12.99 coupon that your owner sent out last month! He's asking about the price?" Then he proceeded to snatch the phone from the employee, and in a very HARSH tone, BARK at me "DID YOU WANT TO PAY WITH CASH OR CARD?!" To which I replied, "I'm wondering how it got up to $19+ for the pizza". He said "YOU APPLIED A $4 COUPON MAKING IT $16" To which I replied "I have a $12.99 coupon for a fusion pizza". A few indoor/outdoor seats and tables are available. However, this is a takeout place. We told them our order was to be eaten there but no paper plates were given so we ate the pizza out of the box. Not a big deal just note this if it's your first time and you're planning to dine-in. A medium cheese pie was enough for 2 people and inexpensive at $10.50+ tax. Their beverage fridge wasn't cold and a note was displayed apologizing about it but no ice was offered. Pizza quality was on par with Dominoes. Maybe their selection of toppings (Butter Chicken Pizza or Alfredo Curry Paneer) would be a better choice next time. I was disappointed to learn there are no restrooms for customers. I thought places that serve food had to provide a toilet and sink for their patrons. I was directed to wash my hands at Sprouts or Jason's Deli because their restroom was for employees only. Hit the spot. Purchased the personal cheese pizza. Pizza was made fresh, ready in 10 minutes. The pizza at first look seemed a bit underwhelming. but once I took a bite it all made sense. This place doesn't just claim to use organic ingredients, this place actually uses fresh, and natural ingredients. The sauce, and cheese, and crust are all good on their own, but more importantly for pizza, they go together very well. I do wish the crust was a bit more airy, but its a good crust that tastes good, and provides a nice base for the sauce and cheese to flourish. I would add a photo, but I ate it already. read more

Update: They changed their name but are the same folks and the same amazing pizza! I recently ordered delivery during rush hour, and they were still able to get me our order within 40 minutes. The owner personally delivered it because their delivery driver was running behind in traffic. This is a pizza GEM in Austin and locally owned and run family business. Pizza Day offers some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. There was an error in my order, so I called the store. Both the woman who answered the phone and the manager on duty were incredibly apologetic. They took full responsibility for the mistake (a rare thing for a company to do), apologized repeatedly, offered to remake my pizza immediately and send it straight out when the delivery driver returned to the store. They even called back to confirm my order one last time. All this on what I'm sure was a very busy Saturday night for them. I've experienced similar errors with popular food delivery services and the response I typically get is, "Sorry, it's gonna be 90 minutes to remake your food, or we can refund you." Instead, Pizza Day offered to make it right immediately. I couldn't have asked for more. This is my new go-to pizza place. read more

Let me start with a good thing first. I have tried Pizza Day's Pizza multiple times and I was a big fan until last Catering order . Catering order has a completely different quality than what you get when you eat over there . My 4 XL Pizza came very cold ( I understand my place is like 15 Miles + from their place and for that I paid extra $20 just for the delivery) as there was no insulated bag used to keep them warm . They were so thin crust and thats not what I ordered , when you order to eat over there its completely different quality I must say . Stuffed Jalapeños were also very cold and not properly backed . I had that before so I know how it turns out when its done right . This was my first order during COVID scene so not sure whether chef is changed or they are just compromising with quality to keep better margins but I was highly disappointed. I'll give another chance as things can go wrong one time and I don't want to judge this awesome place by just last experience . But if the owner is reading this than its for him/them to keep a note on this and make sure you don't compromise your quality .
