Awesome shop with very knowledgeable guys who work there. They were able to fabricate leafsprings for my custom trailer in a very reasonable time frame. They matched the height of the jeep that tows the trailer and now it tracks way better on the road. Thank you! (Old picture attached)

The finished product: factory-height arched springs.

Sacramento Spring is, hands down, one of the best auto service shops in our region. I've got a 1989 Toyota FJ-62 Land Cruiser with 300,000+ miles. Its sagging front and rear leaf springs had turned it into a Japanese lowrider. After shopping for aftermarket spring options (that would have required moving away from the stock Toyota geometry), I met with Cory and Josh and discussed rearching the springs. The rearched springs, with new U-bolts, and bushings, ride like new and look great. The price was more than fair and was significantly less than an aftermarket retrofit. They are great guys, honest as the day is long, and a lot of fun to do business with. Thanks, Fellas!

Springs added to the Leaf Spring Pack of my Toyota Tundra

I have a Toyota Tundra that I've been trying to build up for off road capabilities for the last four years. I go off roading, camping, hiking, and fishing in the middle of nowhere. My truck is also my daily driver. I can't afford to have a specific off road vehicle for the weekend and also another vehicle for my every day. I know there are those out there can afford it (I wish I could). They set up their vehicles to stay out overlanding for days/weeks. This means I haul stuff in my bed. Whether it be from Lowes/Home Depot or a dump run. So, I needed leaf springs that could support the extra weight. The ones I got with my 3" lift couldn't support the weight. I had gone to Lowe's to pick up about 40 bags of mulch (around 700 pounds), and my bed dropped. It was horrible. It looked like a dog dragging its behind across the floor because it had worms. I looked at air bags. I went back to the company that I got my lift from to look at an "add-a-leaf". I also looked at other businesses that specialize in leaf springs that are made in the USA. While doing research for months, I found that the leaf springs that are available through some of these suspension companies are made flat, and then bent to an angle. So, eventually they will flatten out quicker than factory leaf springs. I went online and spoke to vendors. I asked questions on off road and Tundra websites to see what others were doing to support their bed campers, and heavy weight in the bed. If anyone would know, these overlanding folks would know. They have tents, bed racks, fridges, toolboxes, spare tire racks, Decked drawer systems, etc. I spoke to Stellar Built in Sacramento. They specialize in fabrication and off road builds. They have a well known reputation in the off road community. They suggested talking to Sacramento Springs. They make their leaf springs in house. So, I called Sac Springs and explained what I wanted in my truck. I wanted to be able to haul stuff without the sag, AND keep the height in the rear. I'm planning a week long off road trip, so I want to be able to haul my gear and keep the clearance. Some of those back roads are questionable and having clearance so you do not bottom out, is important. I called Sacramento Springs about a millions times because I had questions. Then that would lead to new questions. Then I brought up scenarios. Each time I called they were very helpful. Even joked around. I've spoken to MANY vendors and businesses that are in the off road community. Most of the time I have no idea what I'm talking about, so I'm hoping they understand that I'm a rookie at this. I'm no mechanic, electrician, scientist, or fabricator. Sometimes the vendors seem like I'm wasting their time with the questions or problems. I hate calling them because of that. But Sacramento Springs never came across like that. I hated calling them only because it was call number one million. LOL. But they were cool with it. They ended up adding two springs to each leaf spring pack. There's a slight rake in the rear, but I like the look. I'm hoping the rake will level the truck out when I have my gear in the bed. Which would be perfect. I dropped it off when they opened in the morning, and picked it up around 3pm. I just took a day off and ran some errands. (I live an hour away so I couldn't just go back home). If you're looking to upgrade your leaf springs, give them a call. Even if you're not in the Sacramento area, they may be able to help you out and ship them to you.

Scheduled an appointment to bring in my Nova. Spoke to Cory and explained what I needed. Dropped off at 8am and bam it was done as promised 3:30pm. If your looking for leaf springs experts, these guys are honest, trustworthy, and friendly, serious no bs. I had them lift my rear suspension about an inch so I can have passengers ride in the back without bottoming out. In addition we removed the traction bar as it would scrape the bottom going over speed bumps. My ride is much smoother amd enjoyable to drive now. Thanks to Cory amd his crew!

My fiance decided to convert his car back to OEM height and didn't want to drive all the way to the bay area. So, a quick Yelp search brought this hole in the wall place up! He rated this place a 3 star and here's why... Our car, a 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan, is a rather unique car, duh, in terms of suspension. Apparently, it shares the same platform as some Euro cars? I'm not sure, my fiance said Lotus had a part in the suspension. The guys at Sacramento Spring were very confident that they can remove our Coilovers and replace it with the stock setup. The mechanic who worked on our car showed him around shop, assuring him that it's not a difficult job and that they have years of experience in this industry. My fiance was sold, and left the car with them. Here is where a star dropped. Customer service was okay, my fiance had to call a few times for status updates. We were quoted 4 hours for the work...it ended up taking 2 whole days to complete! When I mean 2 whole days, I mean, my fiance dropped the car off at 8 am...and we picked it up around 7 pm the next day! When we picked it up, my fiance drove around with "Junior", the mechanic, and instantly heard knocking noises coming from the suspension. Instead of shrugging it off, Junior had him drive back to the shop and he tightened everything up without jacks. Thanks for not letting us go until we were satisfied! Price was okay, about the same for if he went to the bay area. Here is where we knocked another star away...cash only! Well, they accept credit card, but it would be $100 added to your total bill for fees associated with using the machine. They did not accept the Yelp check in offer either, they didn't even have any knowledge of it. We don't carry that much cash on us so that was a bummer. In summary, my fiance still recommends this place. Just be aware that if you have a rather "unique" car, ask them for an assessment first before leaving it. Also, don't be scared of the location like me, it seems pretty safe lol! Oh, bring cash!

Waiting for our RV to get fixed!

My husband and I woke up early today and prepared our 5th Wheel for a road trip to Southern California. As we drove through downtown Sacramento at 6:30 am, our 5th wheel blew a suspension spring. It literally snapped like a twig. Suddenly our tires were rubbing and the smoke was flying! We were stranded! My husband called a Mobile Repair guy and he recommended Sacramento Spring. My husband called just before 7 am and they answered the phone even though they opened at 8 am. He told them about our crisis and they told us they would fit us in if we got our RV towed there. Four hours later we finally got a tow - and let me just say the service at Sacramento Spring renewed my hope in mankind! They fixed our suspension spring in just a few hours AND they literally helped us through an incredibly stressful day! Best customer service we've had in decades! Great service and such fair prices for literally dropping everything so we could get back on the road and not miss our vacation! Seriously - support this business if you have a need for a spring!

I now have brought my CX5 to him multiple times already for his expert opinion on different issues and for regular maintenance. One year later and my wife is smirking at me as she observes two large boxes (containing carbon fiber pieces for my car) being delivered onto our front porch. After securing the parts, I knew exactly who I would contact for installation services...Imperial Works! If you have read any of my past reviews, you know that I'm fond of their customer service and overall expertise. Since my work schedule was pretty crazy, Jenny made an exception by allowing for me to drop my car off the afternoon prior to the day of my actual appointment (thanks Jenny & team for your flexibility). After Wesley inspected the parts to ensure that everything was complete, I handed over my keys and headed off to work! Late afternoon the next day, I received a text that the installation had been completed and my car was ready to be picked up. As my Lyft driver dropped me off in front of the establishment, I observed my sexy car sitting pretty with her new front lip and side skirts! Before processing payment and handing over my keys, the always personable David, explained to me the process and tools needed to safely secure the parts to the car (a big concern considering how dangerous it would be if a part were to fly off while on the road). To further elaborate on the measures taken to ensure a quality installation, David also explained that they used their own fasteners for the installation; versus using the sometimes mediocre fasteners that are shipped with some car accessories. The attention to detail and customer service is truly what keeps me coming back. Sometime next year (Lord willing) I plan on paying Imperial Works a visit to have my car vinyl wrapped in a color that closely resembles BMW's San Marino Blue (thank you Joe for patiently answering my silly questions pertaining to wraps)!
