(Not entirely sure if they take reservations, but you can add yourself to an online waitlist) The food was delicious, I had the trifecta - your choice of waffle or pancake, your choice of eggs in addition to a choice of bacon, ham, turkey sausage or chicken sausage. I love how many options their menu had. Lots of gluten free choices and my meal alone gave me a lot of choice. They also have healthier menu items and their prices were very reasonable! The restaurant was busy, but clean and service was quick and attentive.

Cute little place at the lower level next to Homegoods and where Ele8vation gym. Ample amount of seating outside which is nice for families with young kids. We were seated inside toward the back of the restaurant which was more spacious than I expected. A server didn't come until about 10 minutes after getting seated, and we weren't offered waters or anything- probably cuz they offered coffee instead. Rather than getting hot coffee, my husband and i opted for the mint mocha latte which was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The mint wasn't too overwhelming and the chocolate wasn't too sweet. I went for the "traditional" which was the two eggs, breakfast potatoes, choice of meat, and bread. I got my son a chocolate chip pancake which was MASSIVE and he clearly didn't finish, but he did have all the bacon and a few bites. Our server was super sweet and food came out pretty quick. They started getting really busy when we left around 9ish so I was happy we got there early. They started having someone take down names and tons of people were waiting outside. The only thing I didn't like were the cushion chairs that probably needs a good deep cleaning and some vacuuming of the crumbs, but otherwise everything was delicious and service was great. Will definitely come back again, EARLY to make sure I don't have to wait with an inpatient 6 year and 1 year old!

They also have beautiful garden seating. I ordered Turkish coffee, fresh grapefruit juice, Gurmanski dorucak, mini burek with spinach and cheese, and fruit cake. I love Turkish coffee and this was very good. The juice was tart and delicious. The breakfast platter was a showstopper. Two fried eggs, tomato, feta, two meat patties, and homemade bread. The flavors of the meat blew my mind. Who knew that Croatians make the most delicious burgers. This is a hearty and fantastic dish. Also, the burek was flaky and light and not very mini. I took home the cake and enjoyed it later. Light, delicate and not overly sweet, this was a star. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you should stop in for any meal. Seating is first-come, first-served, and guests are placed based on availability, which keeps things fair and efficient even during busy times. The tables for two are intimate and cozy, perfect for conversation, though they can become a bit tight when ordering several dishes at once. That said, the staff was attentive and checked in often enough to clear plates and make room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The dessert menu is separate, allowing guests to enjoy their meal at an unhurried pace before deciding on something sweet. Their beverage offerings are thoughtfully presented. Herbal tea options include green tea, chamomile, and English tea (Stash), and the tea is served in a container that provides two full servings. The cappuccino is well made and served with a sugar crystal stick, adding a distinct old-world charm that enhances the café's European feel. I regret not asking for an additional order of Turkish coffee so that's a regret . What we ordered: * Greek Salad - $18.50 * Cappuccino - $6.80 * Herbal Tea - $6.00 * Uštipci - $17.25 * Musaka - $22.95 * Šnicla (Cutlet Sandwich) - $20.75 * 2 Diet Cokes - $8.00 The musaka is a baked dish and does take about 25 minutes to prepare, as it's made fresh with baked eggs, seasoned beef, and sliced potatoes layered on top. The wait is well worth it, resulting in a hearty, comforting dish that tastes authentically homemade. The Šnicla (cutlet sandwich) arrived beautifully presented on a wooden board, adding a rustic, elevated touch that matched the restaurant's aesthetic. Mom felt it lacked in seasoning but she Didnt leave any crumbs . The Uštipci were a standout--served with feta and honey, generously portioned, and so plentiful that we happily took some home. We were too full for dessert this time, but it's absolutely on the list for a return visit. Due to winter weather, we couldn't explore the back of the restaurant, but even from the main dining area, the decor is undeniably charming and full of character. Overall, Cafe Bubamara offers authentic flavors, generous portions, attentive service, and a cozy, old-world atmosphere that makes it a place worth revisiting.

When we arrived after the ceremony, the manager on duty claimed he had no knowledge of the reservation and suggested we must have the wrong location. Even after being shown the confirmation, he offered no explanation. Once the wedding party arrived, he realized the mistake and asked for 20 minutes to prepare the room. That 20 minutes turned into nearly an hour. Fifteen formally dressed guests, including the bride and groom, were left standing outside in 90-degree heat waiting for a room that should have been ready before we arrived. When we were finally brought to the "private room," it appeared to be a hastily assembled space with tables and chairs thrown together and covered with tablecloths. It looked more like a storage area than a venue prepared for a wedding celebration. The setup was incomplete, with missing plates, utensils, napkins, and even serving utensils for the food. Service throughout the event was virtually nonexistent. To make matters worse, the food served to our group was bland, basic, and completely underwhelming for what was supposed to be a special occasion. Guests dining in the main restaurant appeared to be receiving far more appealing meals than what was provided to our private party. Mistakes happen. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of urgency, professionalism, or effort to make things right. No meaningful apology, no accommodation (they did reduce the bill after we addressed it with them ourselves) but even that reduction really should have been much more because mult guests left before they ate as it was a mid week wedding and they had limited time and there were also children in attendance), and no attempt to salvage what should have been a memorable first meal for a newly married couple and their families. This was an embarrassing and unacceptable experience. A wedding reception reservation is not something a restaurant should simply forget. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this establishment.

We've visited this establishment numerous times. Upon arrival for dinner tonight with no reservations, my partner and I were greeted by the host and got a booth by the window. The table was set exactly to our expectations. The bread plate was correctly placed to the right of the silverware, and the napkin was centered with the menu laid neatly on top. The eclectic menu of around 150 items offers extraordinary variety and selection, with flavor profiles ranging from Thai, Malaysian, and Caribbean to classic American and European specialties. We decided on Mini Cheeseburgers, Fresh Grilled Salmon accompanied by Sweet Potato Fries and Steamed Broccoli. We even saved room for dessert and opted for Chocolate Deep Dark Fudge Cake. Complimentary hot sourdough bread with olive oil and butter started our meal. Our food was absolutely amazing, using the freshest ingredients, the right portion size, and a beautifully done presentation. The price was comparable to the area. Our server Juan Pablo was amazing, friendly, and always checked on us. Another great dining experience!

With over 180 wing flavors to choose from, the only problem you will have is deciding because you will want to explore this seemingly never ending list. These are a couple of the wings I explored: Peanut Butter & Jelly Wings: These wings were smothered in creamy peanut butter with a heaping mound of jelly. At first I was reluctant to explore this unusual combination, but as soon as I gave it a try, it was love at first bite. Feel free to smear or dip; the choice is yours. S'mores Wings: This is another unique, but unbelievably savory combination. These dessert style wings were smothered in marshmallow cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup, and sprinkled with crushed pieces of graham crackers. It was a sight for sore eyes. If you need additional chocolate sauce don't be afraid to ask for "s'more." And make sure you request "s'more" napkins because you will certainly need them! In addition to the wings, I also explored one of the main courses. Blue 42 Burger: Named after the restaurant, this burger is topped with mozzarella sticks, blue cheese crumble and bacon. The Blue 42 char on top of the bun has a nice decorative touch. If you are a fan of the Green Bay Packers, you have come to the right spot. The interior is decorated with Packers memorabilia, which even includes wall art on the ceiling. All fans are still welcome even if you aren't an aficionado of the Packers. The restaurant staff also supports New Jersey's finest, New Jersey's bravest, the ambulance corp, and the armed forces. I truly enjoyed dining at this local bar and I see why their wings are high profile. #blue42 #wingman #wingmanblue42 #blue42elmwoodpark #blue42burger #smoreswings #smores #peanutbutterandjelly #peanutbutterandjellywings #pbj #pbjwings #elmwoodparknj #GreenBayPackersFans #njfinest #njbravest #AmbulanceCorp #armedforces

Do all possible combinations truly have value? At what point does variety become a little ridiculous? That said, the bones -- so to speak -- are very good. They brought a bill with a total after taxes of $82 something, and I handed over my card. They took the card and came back with a credit slip that showed a total of $86 something after taxes - and didn't bring the itemized bill back (which is standard practice at every restaurant I have ever been to) -- obviously so that I wouldn't notice the discrepancy. I added a tip and paid thinking I had misread the original bill, but then realized I was pretty sure I hadn't, so I requested a copy of the bill (which they should have given me for my records in the first place. Sure enough, the amount on the bill was $82 not $86. I pointed this out and they tried to gaslight me, saying I must' be mistaken about the credit slip. Only after I insisted that they show me the credit slip I had signed did they say "oh yes, we charge extra for using a credit card." I know some places do that these days, but (1) if there was fine print on the menu indicating they do this it certainly wasn't prominent enough (2) the bill should have had a notice there was an extra charge for paying with card (3) not returning the bill with the credit slip shows that they were counting on my not noticing (4) gaslighting me that I must have been wrong about the credit slip instead of simply saying "oh, that's the credit card charge" is really sleazy (5) the actual discrepancy was more than the 3% they claimed was the charge for using a credit card. I wouldn't really care that much about the fee if they were straightforward about it, but I really object to this kind of underhanded behavior. It left a bad taste in my mouth. We won't be back.
