Saddleback Carpet and Flooring is simply the best for flooring! Jerry, the owner, spent hours helping me find flooring that would match my existing LVP floor. He made a trip out to my home and took measurements - he was the most honest retail vendor I have met in years. He told me my floors looked great, and he would not replace them. They would last another 20-30 years. He continued to help me explore options for the renovated spaces and educated me along the way on the advantages and disadvantages of different flooring types. I elected to use textured tile planks that looked similar in design, rather than attempting to match the color. The tiles were for the bathroom areas and look great! (Photos below.) Eli the professional who installed the tile planks was so respectful, knowledgeable, skilled, and considerate! He asked about arriving early and as an early riser and remote worker, this was great. He arrived at 7 a.m., demoed the existing 50-year-old tile that was difficult to remove, and laid the entire new floor by 3 p.m. He came back the next day to grout the floor. When he first arrived, he recognized that the primary bedroom had a sliding door to the patio that led around my home, and he could access the bathroom via this route. He said it would keep him from walking back and forth through my home. He was even able to cut the tile on the patio and he hung a heavy tarp between the bedroom and the bathroom to contain the dust. He asked me about pattern and grout color before doing the work. He cleaned everything up before he left. He truly was amazing! If I do decide to replace my LVP, I will use Jerry and Saddleback Carpet and Flooring. The price is fair, the products are great, and the workmanship is extraordinary! read more

I had a disappointing experience with this business due to unprofessional conduct from the owner. When he had trouble locating the property to assess the issue, he simply called and started yelling at me- I shared the exact correct address which I have always shared with everyone coming to this property. I understand that it was raining and he had trouble finding it for 10 mins, he mentioned that I sent him in circles the first time he called to speak to me. He didn't give me a chance to explain. He was extremely rude and said that I didn't even know my address, which is simply not true! He may be an expert at what he does but being professional is also equally important! I attached the OC tax bill that clearly has the 109 rockwood address with #31, so does our property deed. This is the exact address I texted you. It was your mistake to go to 31 Rockwood. We can go argue with the county if you feel it is still wrong but that doesn't mean you can call yelling at me without knowing the facts! I was also on the call when you were talking about me to my tenant. Again, with all due respect, I reached out to you simply based on all the great reviews on your work, I asked for an assessment of the floors and didn't mention any specific repairs. I didn't appreciate the way you spoke to me and I do not stand to gain anything by lying. I didn't specify the repairs that you mentioned in your response to this review. So my wife and I walked into Saddleback Carpet back in November to look at Carpet, We worked with Jerry the Sales Person there and he went over several different styles of carpet with us, explaining all the benefits and warranties ,My wife and I informed him that we did visit another showroom near him and we did find a carpet that we liked called Mohawk Jerry told us that though he doesn't showcase the Mohawk Carpet that he could get it. Well we left Jerry's showroom with a couple of sample boards he gave us to take home, After a few days my wife and I decided the Mohawk carpet was a better fit for our new home, Well we signed a contract with Saddleback Carpet and the new carpet was installed on Dec 20 just in time before we moved our family into our new home. Fast forward to this Tuesday when I sent some pictures to Saddleback Carpet letting them know that we feel there's something wrong with our new carpet, That same day we received a call from Jerry asking when he can come out and look at the issues we're having. I'm attaching pics so you can see that there's definitely something wrong with our carpet So Jerry came out today and took a bunch more pics and went thru the entire claim process and what we should be expecting from Mohawk This is not our first home so we've had many experiences with contractors and they weren't all pleasant for my wife and I. Though we don't know what the outcome will be with Mohawk Jerry told my wife and I that he agrees after coming out and seeing the carpet in person that there's something wrong for sure. Seeing everything that Jerry's team did - there is NO way that I would have done even half as well. Jerry was recommended to us by our relator. He was great to work with and genuinely cares. We got quotes from Costco (expensive!!) and HomeDepot (confusing to work with!!). Jerry's team was great and finished in half the time I was quoted from the other 2 places. He also walked us through the different flooring options and what would work best for our home and budget. We were in a hurry since we needed to finish the job before an an appraisal inspection the following week. Jerry was quick to answer, and his crew started work in a couple of days.
