Our friends recommended Venetian Flooring to us because they used them for their home remodel, and we also had a great experience with them from beginning to end! Plus their two big advantages over other vendors is: 1) their quote is all-inclusive - they don't nickle and dime you and what's in your contract is what you get. We called about 10 flooring vendors and got quotes from 5. Venetian Flooring Systems wasn't the cheapest (however, still very reasonable) ... but it was clear from the moment we reached out that Eric and his team would take good care of us. Eric came out to our home to explain their process and take measurements. Then we went into his Lake Forest office to look at a number of samples. He had us take several home so that we could look at them in our lighting throughout different points of the day to get a true sense of what the flooring would be like. When we were ready to sign the contract, he came back to our home for another walk-through to ensure nothing was missed. We are currently doing a large renovation job, and we scheduled a date that we thought would work with the rest of our renovation. When our cabinets were delayed, Eric was more than accommodating to find a new date that would work. The new flooring was installed today, and we are amazed! Eric came out to our home this morning at 7:30am to do a walk-through and review what would happen today. Chris was the Project Manager, and I can't say enough great things about him. Our family was looking to replace our flooring on the second floor and had been shopping around the local big box stores and flooring supply stores locally. With a few quotations, recommendations and varied timelines, we were ready to go with one of our quotes. On a coworkers recommendation and positive reviews on Yelp, we called Venetian Flooring. Actually before calling, I tried stopping by their showroom and just letting you know, you do have to call ahead of time to arrange an appointment. We meet with Eric the following weekend at the showroom and they had more than enough samples to choose from. It may not be the fanciest showroom that I've been to but does have the variety of samples that you may be looking for. In the showroom we picked out a few samples to take home to see in different conditions (time of day, lighting, and contrast with our current color scheme). Eric then came out to measure and quoted us a no nonsense best price possible upfront. Venetian Flooring was not the cheapest but within reason. We were impressed with our coworkers results so we went with them. We were promised a start time of 0730 and they showed up at 0730. The crew was punctual, reliable, and courteous. There was a section of the staircase that I wanted to paint prior to the new flooring being laid. The crew made the accommodations so that I could get in their during their workflow to paint and touch up various areas. The second day went without a hiccup and was comprised mostly of finishing up the baseboards and touch up painting. At one of the last inspections, Chris the foreman/manager of the crew found a slight scratch in one of the planks. Instead of trying to fix just the single plank, he has the crew remove the flooring in the entire room to get to the single plank. Chris wanted everything to be perfect and indeed it is! The crew are absolute craftsmen in this trade. They were courteous and efficient. Who the heck can complete a job that is approximately 1500-1700 square feet with replacement of baseboards in just two days?! Venetian can! This is a little delayed, but back in July, we contracted Eric and Venetian Flooring Systems to remove all the carpet, travertine, and marble from the ground floor. Replacing it with Provenza's Pompeii Lapiri wood. Everybody else quoted weeks, Eric stated that he could have it done in 3 1/2 to 4 weeks. ut they actually only took a day in a half from start to finish. He had a gap, so he dedicated two teams to our job. They started on time Friday morning, and finished by midday Saturday. We even had a glue issue, which he resolved on Sunday morning. Amazing work. From start to finish, working with Eric and the rest of the Venetian Flooring team was a fantastic experience. I called Eric out for a quote. He arrived on time, worked quickly, gave a thorough breakdown of their process and pricing, which was very fair. We met Eric a few days later at his showroom to pick out the flooring that we wanted. He had a very good idea of the type of floor that we were looking for and guided us towards the perfect match, despite us initially wanting to go with something that was a bit more expensive. My experience with Venetian Flooring was great from start to finish. Early on, T and I got quotes from two different companies. We would have gotten more quotes, but we decided pretty quickly on Venetian Flooring! When we met with Eric, we felt really comfortable with him. He explained himself well, answered all our questions, and even brought up things we hadn't considered. The pricing Eric gives is an out the door price (included flooring, demolition, removal of carpet, upgraded baseboards, etc.). Our final price I think would be hard to beat. All we had to do was choose our flooring and provide the paint! We went to the store location to look at flooring samples. They do offer laminate, waterproof laminate, hardwood. We love the flooring that we chose. On the morning of, Eric arrived early, ready to work. We just had to meet with him for a quick consultation to make sure we were all on the same page, and his guys got to work! Eric also provided updates for any changes in status. They were able to finish the job in one day! Our flooring looks great. It is exactly how we wanted it. I noticed some sticky adhesive on the flooring that I couldn't remove. All I had to do was call Eric, and he came over within a couple days to remove the adhesive for me. Eric is all about 100% customer satisfaction. I really recommend Venetian Flooring to someone who wants Quality Installation, Fast Installation, and Great Customer Service with a reasonable price. Also I hired my painter, Xenak Painting and they like Venetian better. Xenak painting said Venetian is the best in Orange County. Also I was more comfortable with Venetian such as communication and friendly service. For materials, I selected Provenza Ash (Engineering Wood) for my whole house(1632 sqft) except bathroom and laundry. The salesman, Eric is very responsive and professional, also friendly. He has 18 years of experience in flooring industry. Also Eric has great crews in the house, meaning they're not hiring anyone from a third party. I've met Chris and Andrew on job site first day with Eric's introduction. I talked with Chris and he is very professional and friendly too. When I saw Chris, I felt very positive and relief. They finished my house for 2 days and half day. I was surprised with their speed and finish quality. Eric said before May is good season to install flooring. From May, they will be very busy and a lot of people are asking for job...then you may wait in line. We talked to a few different flooring company's and had quotes for laminate floors. Eric definitely came in at a reasonable price for high quality materials. Plus, he's a super nice guy and gives a lot of detail without being pushy. Throughout the installation process, he remained available and our main contact even though he was not the supervisor of the instal. His guys were hard working and the were FAST! My experience from the consult to the installation was a great one. A professional, consistently successful and dependable company is hard to find, but Venetian has this all nailed down. I don't know if Eric sleeps since it seems he is the area rep for OC and was always available via text or phone. He came to the house to measure the 3 bedrooms we had done, wrote up a competitive quote and even encouraged me to get other quotes! We then made an appt to pick some samples at their warehouse. It was smaller than I expected, but plenty of samples from floor to ceiling. I was having a tough time choosing between 3 of them and he said "Take them home!" -- I'm glad I did -- the decision was easy after seeing it in the room's lighting and against the other flooring. So Eric came to the house, again -- to pick up the samples and schedule the installation -- they were booked a few weeks out, so plan ahead. On the day of installation, Chris' team was awesome, Eric was there as well (i'm telling you, this guy is super at customer service). They completed the 3 rooms from 8am-3pm in ONE day, talk about not disruptive. They cut the wood outside on the driveway, painted the baseboards there too. They were in constant contact with me and they were there every step of the way. They helped with suggestions that I did not consider. Once installed, they were also easy to reconnect with. Backstory: We were in escrow for our house when the sellers came home from vacation to find a water leak badly damaged the hardwood floors downstairs. Thankfully this was before closing so we had a credit to fix the floors. My husband called Eric to set up the home consultation. He was early and actually got to the house before we did! He walked through, surveyed the first floor, took some measurements and gave us a price. Then we had him price out redoing the 2nd floor that was already laminate. He gave us the quote all included (supplies, labor, tear down, tax, etc). I could really appreciate that... He gave me an out the door price which meant I wouldn't be nickle and diming it later. He first quoted us 2 days of labor but after he made some calls he said he could get 2 crews out to finish it all in 1 day. Bingo! Eric helped us look through the samples and decide on hardwood vs laminate. He's certainly not out to take your money but to really make sure you're satisfied. He told me they would do a good job and make it look nice. This past Saturday Eric called to confirm and let us know he'd be here between 7 and 7:45 AM to review any last minute details, including the direction we wanted our new laminate laid. Imagine my surprise when I came downstairs to take the dog out at 6:45 AM and he was already parked outside. Talk about punctual!! We reviewed everything and he said the crews would be in about 8:30 AM to get started. Off to work I went... Waiting anxiously to see how my flooring would turn out. I was a little nervous throughout the day wondering did we chose the right colors or the right style? Would it really look that good?! I got home before they were done and it was already looking great. Eric was right... The color and style of flooring we chose looked great (and it wasn't even done). My husband and I had an exceptional experience with VFS and could not be happier with the outcome of our brand new floors! From the beginning, Eric was prompt in answering my initial questions via email and setting up a time to come measure our home. Upon gathering his measurements, he gave us an "out-the-door" price quote which included tearing out and disposing of the existing floors, cost of new materials, padding and laminate installation, and new 5" baseboards. He quoted us a range (dependent on the material we would choose). He was not pushy at all and encouraged us to shop around before committing to hire anyone. When I went in to visit the warehouse, Eric was great at helping me pick out the colors and materials for our laminate floor. I initially thought I was going to pick a dark walnut or grey color but I'm so glad I followed Eric's suggestion on a mid-tone natural wood (Santa Fe). The lighter color goes so well with our wall color and also makes the space seem much more spacious. Once I chose the material I wanted, Eric was able to give me an exact number quote (which was within the range we discussed originally). I put down a 10% deposit and locked in an installation date. On the day of installation, I met with Eric in the morning to do a walk through of the home before the crew arrived. He made sure to discuss which direction I'd like the laminate to be installed and he gave me an overview of what to expect that day. The crew came in at 9:30am and were cleaning up when I came back home at 7pm. Our condo is about 1200 square feet and they completed the job (living room, dining room, kitchen, hall, and three bedrooms) from start to finish in one day! Since we were in a time crunch trying to move in after the floors went in but before the end of the month, a quick job like this was much appreciated. Eric came back at the end of the day to do a final walk through to make sure we were happy with the job and also gave us advice on how to clean and maintain our new floors.We paid the remaining balance once the job was complete and there were absolutely no surprises. I've already received so many compliments about our floors from my family and friends who helped us move in. We could not find a single edge that was not perfectly measured and installed. The 5" baseboards throughout really highlight the floors and give it a clean, finished look. The crew even installed the new baseboards in the bathrooms even though we did not have new floors installed there! Overall, I could not be happier with the experience I've had with VFS. A company like this is what 5 star reviews are reserved for. Excellent service, prompt and honest communication, and delivering on their promise. Eric is -super duper friendly, honest, professional, knowledgeable and punctual (always show up early)! Never pushy and always looks out the best for his customer. Due to the severe water damage, we need to remove the entire carpet on upstairs floor. We were planning to replace the old carpet with laminate flooring. I don't know where to start. This review is long overdue. I first met Eric in late September of last year. He guided me through the whole process, and really knew his stuff. They were able to get me in very quickly for my laminate floor install in early October for my new home right after I got my keys. Although they have competitive pricing, I believe the biggest pro for Venetian Flooring is their customer service and quality of work. Eric was always quick to respond, to my texts and calls, and routinely called me throughout the day of the install to see how everything was going. Now to the install. He got everything done in 1 DAY! Other quotes I received said it would take 3 days. Instead of coming with a small crew, Andrew came with a crew of 5 other people. They worked quickly and efficiently, and did an amazing job. Andrew was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The guy doing the molding was really impressive to watch also! The precision and speed of his crew was top notch. My fiance and I love our new floors and perfectly complement our home. And the customer service doesn't stop. Just today I emailed Eric to ask him what to do with a tiny chip I have in my laminate and he called me back within minutes to discuss my options.
