I was frequently feeling little particles hitting me in the face whenever I sat under any of our air vents, was having trouble breathing and kept getting sick (sinuses, tightness in the chest etc, constant coughing, nose going back and forth between running and stuffy, ears ringing, burning eyes, phlegm in the chest etc.), so I called Sadler's to come look at my AC unit. When they opened my unit and found "black mold" (yikes!), they removed the coil and fan and took them for a good, thorough cleaning, which they videoed. I appreciate that they took time to video the cleaning process, so I could see that they were actually doing what they said, even saying my name on the video, so I wouldn't think it was someone else's coil and fan they were cleaning. What a great way to built customer trust! When they returned from cleaning them, they took time to make sure I didn't have any mold in my ducts. They investigated my crawl space and found all my seals had worn out and the mounting screws where the ducts converged, had rusted. This issue had been allowing insulation to be sucked into the ducts and blown into our home through the vents. They fixed everything and presented me with before and after photos. Realizing I'd been breathing up insulation and black mold, sure shed new light on my health issues. Their fine work finally brought an end to my endless queries of "What in the world is this thick, yellow dust that keeps building up everywhere and why doesn't this cold ever go away?" Even though the file transfer didn't go through, they did try to send me the video of my coils and fan being cleaned (which I had already been shown in person). The video and photos were personal touches that I loved! SIDE NOTE: The black mold inside the unit could not be seen until they completely opened it up. Bottom line: Those of you suffering with what seems like a never-ending cold or chronic breathing issues of some kind, may simply need your AC coils and fan cleaned, a small price to pay for good breathing health. First thing to mention would be that I utilized Home Advisor to do a search for air conditioning repair services and Sadler's Air Conditioning Service was one of the providers that came up. My air conditioner unit stopped working Friday June 5, 2015 in the evening. On Saturday I called my normal provider and they were not open. So I filled out the Home Advisor search on Sunday and the owner from Sadler's Air contacted me immediately; but I did not initially schedule them. I took off from work today (June 10, 2015) because I scheduled an appointment with my normal provider (Kilpatrick) for 3:30 PM. At 3:46 PM, my appointment was still not here so I called to follow up. When I called I was advised that the technicians were running behind and they would "try to get me in today." Since I scheduled an appointment, I am lost as to why this would happen. CK with Sadler's had texted me earlier in the day to see if I still needed service. I did so I asked if they could make it happen. They did. CK scheduled the technician (Chris) to come by my place. First off; Chris knew his stuff. He was able to go straight into working on my air conditioning problem without missing a beat. He was professional, respectful, and obviously skilled (I still don't know how he squeezed into that unit). In the end, my compressor was dead. Not what I wanted to hear, but he had done three things to get it to work before delivering the news. To put it simple, Sadler's Air Conditioning Service came through where another established business failed miserably. To further help you out if you use this for making a decision, let me break down the review into a few simple key areas: 1) Professional and timely service. 2) Fair pricing 3) Great communication You can't beat that. Had a recurring issue with my upstairs unit. It gets entirely too hot to have to deal with this same issue every summer. I called my previous company, to no avail. I then searched for reviews on an excellent AC Repair company. I found it, called and dispatcher sent the best, Niko and Chance! There were sent out the following morning and were prompt! Not only did these young men locate my issue, they located several other "patched" areas that were holding on by threads, installed what was needed and all was good. Thankful for this company. On Sunday night I noticed that my AC unit was not cooling so I went outside and found that my fan was not working, I was hoping that the fan motor had not burned out and that it was the capacitor. I did some internet research Monday morning and settled on Sadlers. CK Sadler, the owner, came out and quickly diagnosed that the capacitor needed replacing. I had some AC repair work previously in the year and that companies tech told me to stop using the high end AC filters because they would harm my unit, I used the high end filters because my wife has terrible allergies. CK told me that the high end filters would not harm my unit and there are no issues with using them. Very impressed! I've been using Ellis AC for 10 years for my personal and rental properties. I have always been devoted to them. The last few times I used them I wasn't very happy and both times I was encouraged to replace the AC's and do repairs that still left me with no AC working. My husband and I are active duty military, stationed in another state. Our renter's recommended Sadler and we are not disappointed. When we got back from our family vacation Monday morning, wondering why the house is 87*, The wife called Sadler, was told someone would be over within the hour, and Michael did. Ran a diagnostic and found out our compressor went out. And think about it we never had it serviced. He gave us a quote, on a new one. And he & CK came out installed it and now it runs like a champ. They also mentioned changing the air filter 2x a month if you have pets, I was doing it 1x a month. So having your unit check yearly it will save you in the long run. Did their online request for service and received a call same day. Arranged for an appointment the next day for 2 pm. They called and came out an hour early. I requested their $90 special and it fixed my problem. My drain line was severely clogged. They also checked everything concerning my inside and outside units. They gave me tips and advice for better life of my system to alleviate little problems from occurring. Bottom line, very professional, reasonably priced, and very courteous. Our AC stopped working on the hottest day ever!!! We called Sadlers, JR, came the same day we called. He was quick, efficient and very polite.
