I have been a client of Saf Keep Fremont since mid 2011. As a convenience factor, I opted for the auto billing feature for my account so I didn't visit the facility often. However it was the recent need for a second unit and the stellar customer service that prompted this review. Being both a customer and a businessman, I know the importance of customer review, positive and negative. I don't often take the time to write reviews but when someone continues to meet your needs and shows you that they truly value their customers. Back in 2011 I was on the hunt for a good storage facility. The knowledge and the professionalism of the employee PLUS the free move in truck at Saf Keep sold me. The first day I showed up I could tell that the facility was newer. I was taken on a tour where I was shown the extensive security features that made me feel even more confident about my decision. The units all have alarm systems, as well as the elevators.There's even someone who lives on the site which provides 24/7 security. The storage units are clean, an unlike other facilities I have used there are concrete floors and walls. On my last visit for my second unit, I saw that they now have a free Ebay web garage designed to help customers sell unwanted items plus an actual on site consignment store where you can buy or sell items/furniture. You truly get what you pat for with Saf Keep, so if you ever find yourself researching storage I would recommend starting with Saf Keep! read more

We have been storing our stuff at Saf Keep Storage in Fremont for close to 10 years. The original storage units that were located on the otherside of the freeway was nice. However, the newer storage units are so much better. I feel that our belongings are more secure in the newer internal units. Our unit is actually filled close to the ceiling. The only negative is that the automatic lights go off too soon and one has to make some movement in the hallway to turn them back on. This makes it more difficult to 'hunt' through our belongs for any period of time longer than a minute while inside the unit. We miss the light system that ran on manual timers from the older storage location where If we needed 30 minutes of light we could dial it in and if only a few minutes were needed, that too could be selected. The new automatic lights are great for when you first arrive at your unit. It would be nice if the automatic light timer was set for 10 minute on-times before automatically turning off. This would mean fewer times to wave hands in the hallway to turn them back on. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. We feel that Saf Keep Storage in Fremont is the best place to store all of those items that just don't fit in your own home. Thanks Saf Keep! read more

I got caught off guard when my house sold and the closing date was less than a couple weeks away. I needed a place very quickly to store excess furniture during an extremely hectic and stressful move. Michael and Tracey and the staff at Saf Keep were wonderful and efficient to deal with, and helped me reserve a unit just right for my needs. They run a very secure, spotlessly clean and convenient facility, with free load-in help, dollies and blankets, and a free truck (with limited mileage range) that you can use for picking up and dropping off your items for a refundable deposit. The entire facility is gated, and has nice extended hours, closing at 8:45 in the evening. I found the prices to be very compatible with most other storage places in the area. Not cheap, but then again you get what you pay for. If security, cleanliness, great friendly staff, help loading in, an available truck, air-cooled indoor lockers, large capacity elevators, all in a gated security coded facility, fully monitored by a network of cameras - then this place is for you. I would definitely use Saf Keep again for any future moving or storage needs. read more

Being a person who required security, safety and cleanliness, Saf Keep Storage gets 5-stars in all my requirements!! They have state of the art security systems, require coding in to all access areas and have monitoring of all units 24/7 on big screens right in their office. You can see what is happening at all times and that makes me feel safe with my belongings in their property. If you are looking for a very clean, modern safe facility they are the best that I have found... and we looked at quite a few locations before securing our unit at Saf Keep. Have NEVER had any sort of attitude problems with the staff, as others have reported, and think that they have gone out of their way to ensure that we, as customers, were happy and felt good about leaving our items in their possession. I would refer anyone looking for a place to store to go directly to Saf Keep.... why waste your time on other places... They are a 5-STAR team and facility!! read more

It's taken me a couple of weeks to write this review, but I'm so jazzed about the customer service here that I need to share. I was scheduled to move in to a medium-sized unit on November 30. When I arrived (after a 9-hour drive from Las Vegas), Jessica and Michael were quick to walk me through the paperwork and get me into my unit before the office closed. Tino was nice enough to help with unloading the truck (I'm sure he spent longer than the 30 minutes they offer you on move-in). Unfortunately, I discovered that the unit I had rented was too small for all of my stuff. When I returned the next morning, Michael and Jessica (via phone on her day off!) worked to get me into a larger unit on the same floor as my original unit. I was able to switch units and get all of my stuff moved in. Reyes was kind enough to help with this second move-in. Thanks to Jessica, Michael, Tino and Reyes for a great experience. read more

Joyce C. I have been with them over a month now. I am very please with how clean they are, the grounds, units and bathroom. They are very accomodating to their customers. They have elavators, carts, the lights automatically comes on, even inside the unit, temperture control, real state of art. They are very helpful, they offer to help me for a half hour as long as i make arrangement in advance, being an older women i thought that was very thoughtful as it turn out i didn't need them. I have used two other Storage Company in my life, one Company roof leaked and the water destroyed two boxes of my books, the other Company united had holes, really bad construction. Saf Keep Storage is the only storage i will ever use, i have no desire to ever check out another Storage Company ever. I wished i had known about them, i could have saved myself a lot of stress. I was kind of short on time, just wanted to get in, sign up and get out. The gentleman at the front was super thorough, very kind and helpful and answered all my questions and was definitely quick on his feet helping me to get set up quickly. The facility is super secure and roomy and someone is on the premises 24/7. I loved spinning the wheel on my way out and the prizes are great. Money off next months rent, gift cards, etc. Super helpful in today economy. I reserved my unit on the internet and rec'd a phone call within minutes confirming my reservation and pricing. It was a great experience and I would recommend Saf Keep to anyone. read more

What is so special this storage place! First of all the customer service was awesome, so helpful, friendly and patient!!! I got all I needed, not more than necessary nor less. :-) The storage itself is so clean and the environment is safe due to the security cameras but also there are always someone who are working and every single people there was very helpful and attentive. I want to thank you to Michael who helped me out and the manager Tracy :-) and every single people who works there, sorry I forgot their names but they all were prompt and helpful. My daughter and I were warmly greeted by Michael and Jessica as we entered the office. What I thought would be a difficult and long process was quick and easy. Michael walked us through the process, gave us a tour, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We were ready to go within an hour. One of their employees helped us with loading boxes and supplies into our vehicle. He was very nice and courteous. The facility is safe and clean with easy access. This storage place is Awesome! The office staff are Awesome! Anytime we have ever had a question or needed help with anything the office were willing to help. So much better than the other place we rented from. This storage has an elevator that people can ride in. the other place you could only send your stuff up and you had to walk the stairs. This storage place is very impressive. The whole facility is exceptionally clean, in and out of the building (including the rest room). The staff members who we dealt with (Michael, Jessica, Reyes) were courteous, polite , patient and very helpful. My boyfriend and I started storing here last month and the customer service was awesome. We walked in, got to see a few units and then signed up and moved things in the same day. Everyone in the office was pleasant and helpful. We have never stored before so we needed a bit of help with the logistics and they were happy to help. All the rules and hours were clearly explained, paid for the first month signed the contact, unloaded my truck and I was on my way in a very short time.
