We…read moresuspected the fireplace might not be in tip-top shape so wanted to get it checked out before using it. ProFix was very responsive when I was inquiring about their services, they offered a competitive quote, and scheduling was very straightforward. They came out today, did the inspection, and as suspected there were a bunch of issues that made the fireplace unusable - including cracks in the fireplace, not-fire safe paint, a missing cap, flue, and a hole in the base of the fireplace that shouldn't have been there. They explained everything to us in detail, gave us a quote and got started on the work right away. Afterwards, gave us a really great walkthrough of the work and explained how to best use the fireplace moving forward. They were also respectful of our home and cleaned up after themselves.
