DO NOT COME HERE! THIS IS A SCAM! Never in my life have I ever felt the need to write a review on any website but Safelite did it for me. If I could give a 0 stars, I would. I have wasted time and time again trying to get my vehicle fixed but Safelite kept delaying my appointments while claiming multiple excuses as to why they were not ready. I literally have scheduled appointments in my emails for certain dates to show up, just to be told either the glass was not ordered in stock yet or I never received approval to get my vehicle fixed. At one point, I even had the receptionist assure me that my vehicle would be fixed that day (3rd time showing up) just to be told it couldn't be done after leaving it in the shop for 5 HOURS. In addition, they were pushy with their time schedule, so I compromised to their schedule just for my time to be wasted. The worst part? They fixed the WRONG part of my vehicle. It's like they don't know how to check for things that are not damaged nor know how to contact people regarding their situation. It's been months and I am still trying to resolve this issue. Staff here is VERY incompetent and don't know how to provide proper service. There have been numerous instances where I would have to call 5+ times in a 30 minute window because there is no receptionist sitting at the front. I have even seen it before as I have waited INSIDE the building and watched and NO ONE came to pick up the phone that was ringing multiple times. Every time they are called out on a mistake, they don't even apologize or try to fix it. Don't bother coming here. It's not worth your time, money, or sanity. It's sad to see other people were having the same issues and nothing has changed. EDIT (Response to Safelite Customer Service): Help would be great. First to say something positive - the technician for my vehicle is great and seems to have done a quality job. Why I will never return. The office manager at this Fullerton location is awful. I read these negative reviews while waiting for my car, of previous customers and people that used to work at this location. Something felt immediately wrong with the check-in and this manager. This is where customer service died. Business must be so good from the contract you have with my insurance company that treating me disrespectfully is not anyones concern. When he pissed me off with his outlandish display of bullying me in front of everyone, his follow-up is "good", that I should not be a returning customer. Looking back at his performance, none of his technicians looked surprised at him having a loud outburst at a customer. This location is where customer service died. I have had my windows repaired in the past. By other companies and the work was excellent. Could barely see a blemish. However with safelight the repairs are poor in quality. Both repairs are visible and one began to expand. Won't use them again. Safelight. Please train your technicians Better. My cracks should have been repaired better. read more

I wanted to provide an update that there was an additional issue with our car that needed to be fixed that they could not fix. I am not sure why it impacted their work but if that's their policy that's fine. I would just appreciate in the future to be notified they can't do the work soon than after leaving the car for over 5 hours. I appreciate the company's response. read more

This review is for a windshield replacement. The good: the new windshield is exactly as the original manufacturer part. Same design, cut-outs and features. The installation was quicker than expected and Alejandro, the technician was courteous and gave me all the info regarding warranty, after care instructions and processed my payment. Good job on that. The bad: the front office personnel has poor communication skills or just doesn't understand customer service. At first I wanted the windshield replaced with the factory part (Infiniti). I went in on a Saturday after having it scheduled only to be told I wasn't on the schedule for the day. The lady at the front desk, Estela, said she would find out what was going on and give me a call on Monday. Monday came and went with no call. The phone number she gave me, 714 385-9435, never picks up. Maybe a bogus number. I always had to call my insurance adjuster, AAA, just so that they can get in touch with them to find out what was going on. On a subsequent call, they managed to get a hold of the manager, Fernando, which called me back and told me that the windshield would be in in about a week and a half. That week and a half came and went and no communication from either Estella or from Fernando. I would've liked to call even if it was to keep me updated on the status of the windshield. Again, I had to call my insurance adjuster just to get an update on my windshield. This is very poor communication service. Since I am at the end of my car lease, I decided to purchase the car from the end of the lease and therefore didn't need an OEM windshield any longer so I decided to go with the aftermarket windshield. I would've liked for the front office at the Fullerton store to keep me updated regularly even if it would be to tell me that the windshield was still on order with Infiniti, but that was never the case. So I give the Fullerton store an A for workmanship, but an F to the front office for poor communication. They are either scared or don't know how to speak to customers. read more

Never had an issue with this company until going to this location. I paid cash, not an insurance claim. The technician promised me pictures of my windshield, in order to demonstrate a previous patch job. When the job was completed, I asked for the pictures to be emailed to me. The receptionist/cashier refused. I asked to speak to the manager. Waited for 30 minutes while she made no attempt to contact the manager. When I gave up and left, I asked her to have the manager call me. Still waiting for him/ her to call. read more

Don't give this place any type of business. A few weeks back I made an appointment to get my windshield replaced, in which all information of my car was given. Unfortunately I showed up on time and ready to get my windshield fixed and they did not have the right glass. I was extremely gracious and understanding miss haps happens. Today I came back for my makeup appointment after receiving my new appointment because I was informed they had the right glass... and shocker once again they did not have the right glass after being informed they did. All I received was "sorry you have to come back again". This location is extremely unprofessional and the reason why their overall rating is so low. When coming back from Sin City our KN Sportage front windshield was damaged by semi truck rock. Great fully our auto insurance coverage could be used on putting gel to remove cracks. So I called the nationwide call center and made a appointment that can be fixed ASAP. And call center person told me this place. I made appointment but I was busy with other work and arrived about 40 minutes late. But they excepted me and repaired in less than 1 hour. The repaired person told me all the procedure and of wrost things that could happen if what gel didn't cover the crack and what would be cost. During the repair you could see what they are repairing from inside clean waiting room. Even post messages when your service is finished. After it was to done I saw what was repaired. To my surprise you can't see any cracks from outside but from inside there was light little thin line crack if you don't pay attention then you wouldn't noticed it. So job well done guys for near perfect repair and super fast service these days. Will be back in future with same problems and tell family and friends. read more

Garbage location, I made an appointment with them at 1:30, and was told it would take only 3 hours. I later get a call the day of in the morning telling me I need to take the car at 9:30 in the morning and the installment will take a whole day. I also forgot to bring a key card, but told them I can add the technicians phone so that he can unlock and control the car. They looked at me dumbfounded and told me they can on reschedule. This was back in June, I showed up for the install in Fullerton, one person said the new windshield was damaged and couldn't be installed, another person said it never arrived due to a shortage. Regardless, someone should have told me prior to driving out there, and obviously someone was lying/misinformed. In addition, I was told that same day they would reach out to me the following Monday (two days later), to setup a new appointment and no one did. I called 7 times over two weeks, no one picked up the call. I called corporate, they told me they left a message with the location (because they couldn't reach them either) and I would get a call back, that never happened either. Absolutely HORRIBLE service and communication. read more

Impossible to get a hold of. My insurance company had to get involved just for SafeLite to call me back a couple days later. Told my glass was not in stock- no problem. Get a call back that they actually have one and set up an appointment. Got a call a few days later to remind me of appointment. 3 days before appointment I got another call that glass was never ordered and will be 6-8 weeks. This is already a month later and the piece hasn't even been ordered. No thanks. read more

Had an appointment, dropped the car off first thing in the morning, I mentioned to them that I would like the car completed sooner then later because I have a function to attend. They close at 5 o'clock, never heard from the so I showed up at 4:30, pressed for time, come to find out that they didn't start work on my car til 4pm and the car won't be ready til after 5:30. read more

While traveling in CA my car was broken into both windows smashed on the passenger side of the vehicle. It rained the next two days and Safelite does not do repairs in the rain. Three days later, they arrived 40 minutes later than the appointment with the wrong replacement window. They committed to return the next day with the right window only to call me the night before and indicate it would take 4 days to get the replacement (2 days after my scheduled departure) The window was repaired locally quickly and at a lower price. read more

The repair was very poor and hazy looks worse than the way it was before I wanted to try safelite because of been a big company and what a big mistake I've done they are overprice and the quality where super bad I'm so unhappy with the results. I don't recommend this place. read more

I made an appointment on Tuesday for Friday, three days later. I received three reminder texts, including one this morning, the day of the appointment. I drove 20 minutes to get there and had my wife head down there to pick me up, only to find out they did not have my windshield in. Unbelievable. Did not even have the courtesy to check to see if my part was in this morning before I came down. What a poor way to run a business. read more

I had Safelite replace my windshield after the chip I had for months spidered out. I arranged for them to do the replacement in my office's parking lot, which was convenient for me. The tech arrived, nice guy, but unfortunately during the replacement the windshield cracked. I had to have him return a week later and replace the windshield again. This time he was able to successfully replace the windshield. Unfortunately after a few days the windshield cracked again around the edges of the glass. I made sure to follow all the aftercare requirements as explained by the service technician so I do not believe that it was due to that. I just think that the glass being used was not very reliable and that Safelite should use higher quality material. The replacement glass that was used was the exact same brand as the first, so maybe its that brand but I could not believe that I was going to have to schedule a third appointment for the same job. I just ended up going through OC Windshields Auto Glass & Tint. They charged me half the price that Safelite tried charging me, ridiculous. read more

Workmanship, quality, customer service is terrible. They will do and say anything not to guarantee their warranty. You will be disregarded if you come back with any issues with their work. I will not be returning nor do I recommend to anyone. Find another location. read more

I came here to get my window done and it took 4 hrs which wasn't my problem but I watched as 4 different people were touching all over my car and eating pizzas at the same time which left grease everywhere and the inside of my car was covered in black particles when I got in which wasn't fun to clean read more

I said no they called me asked me to come in early to find out they ordered the wrong windshield told me they're going to re-order and be first thing Friday morning 8 o'clock technician calls me at 11 tells me he's not gonna make it to one. My insurance company recommended Safelite in Fullerton, the closest one to me, and connected me to them and I set up an appointment. When I got to the location for my appointment they answered all my questions and got to work on the car right away. They used a Pilkington high quality windshield of same brand as the OEM brand Honda use on my vehicle. The installation looks very professional, and after a few days I have no complaints! read more
