One of my most favorite Indian restaurants in the area! One of my favorite foods is paneer tikka masala, and their dish is exceptional! The service has been really good every time we've been. They are all super friendly and welcoming, if there's ever a wait, they are really good to apologize and get you in the quickest that they can. The atmosphere is super fun as well. This is part of the Saffron Valley chain with 4 other locations in the valley. Very beautiful and fancy inside, a big window to see into the kitchen. We went for the buffet and saw they do a tasting menu for lunch and dinner which is 4 courses. The buffet was small and very well put together with great tasting items. The server was very attentive and was so helpful with our questions. For sure will be back to try the tasting menu. read more

Seated a walk in group of six quickly so that's good, but: - they forgot to bring my wife's food out until I asked about it. - our waiter disappeared for over 30 minutes. I had to ask someone else to get him for us so we could pay and leave. - my salmon was cold. - they added a 35% tip without telling us. They just said "the tip is included" and never showed us an itemized receipt. I typically tip well (25% or so), but adding 35% and not showing the receipt is just being sneaky. I heard this place was good. Maybe it used to be, but I can't recommend it. read more

Oh my dear lord I had the shrimp Coconut Korma Curry and let me tell you, it is absolutely delicious paired with the Garlic naan it is fantastic, I am so impressed I might get back tonight with the boss of the house, my wife if you were wondering. We walked in on a Friday night and were immediately seated. Most of the tables were full, but they found a spot for us upstairs near the bar. It was fun to overlook the restaurant and enjoy the cool vibe. The décor is beautiful! We ordered the chicken tikka masala, pork tikka masala and regular naan. I also tried the rose water-which is nothing like it sounds. It's a pretty strong wine. Not that it was bad, I enjoyed the glass. The food was terrific. Everything came out piping hot and the flavor was on point. Mine was mild, my wife bumped hers up to medium spice and her eyes watered a couple of times. If you're into spice, they do it well! Our overall experience was great! Servers were friendly and understated. Not a lot of chit chat. At the end, we asked about our check and they told us to tell the front desk our table number and they would pull up our bill. Got a lot of different kinds of Dosa, probably one of my favorite spots for dosa! I love Indian food. The reason to why I'm giving 4 stars is because how long the wait is. And it's not the first time that the wait is so long. I waited 45 minutes for just 5 orders of Dosa and I was one of the first customers too this morning. My go-to Indian restaurant these days. The Malabar fish curry is bomb--so rich and flavorful--but really you can't go wrong with any of them and of course, any one of four or five varieties of naan. Carb it up. I like ending the meal with a mug of the Madras coffee, but I'd recommend ordering it first thing because it's going to take the whole meal before it has cooled down enough to drink. It's easy to drop over $50 here on date night before even tipping, but the meal is almost always a 10/10 in my book. read more

Wow. Rude service. We arrived at 2:45 on a Saturday, and before we were even seated, the Host/Waiter said, "You know we close at 3:30 today right?", I said, "Yes, we noticed." He took us to our seat, and handed us the menus, and then immediately wanted to take our order. We told him, "We haven't been here before, and we would like to look over the menu." He reminds us again that they close at 3:30. A minute goes by, and he's back to take our order...we order some drinks, and tell him we still haven't looked over the menu. He tells us that at 3:30 the kitchen is shutting down & they will not cook after that. We told him we understood. He comes back again...very quickly - and rushes us again to put in our order. So we hurried up and ordered. 20 minutes go by...no drinks. We see him walking past & ask him, "Are you working on our drinks?" He didn't say anything, he turned around and went into the kitchen. 10 minutes later he brings our drinks. Our food arrives at 3:20, and a few minutes later he shows up with Styrofoam containers, tinfoil, and paper bags for us to take our food. We asked him, "Are you trying to rush us out the door? Because THAT is how you are making us feel." He didn't say anything, and went back into the kitchen with the bags, containers, and foil. A family walked in the door at 3:24, and were rudely told, "We are closed"...but I looked at my watch and thought to myself, "They are supposed to be open for another 6 minutes." - In my opinion...if you are open until 3:30...if a family comes in before you close, yes it's annoying, but you should seat them, and take their order. Before 3:30, they turned off the lights, and the music...so we politely asked for our "to go containers", and when he brought the containers, he wanted us to pay right then. So we did. We are usually very generous with our tips, but in this case he got 15%. Here's my 2 cents: If you want to shut down the music, close the kitchen, and turn off the lights at 3:30...you should really close at 2:30, so those last minute customers can still be served, and not feel rushed - also, we weren't last minute...we came in 45 minutes before closing time. Our food was really good. And there are things on their menu that we haven't ever seen on an Indian menu before...so, ...a lot of things we would like to come back and try. We just need to remember to show up hours before they close. read more

The inside is gorgeous. The staff is beyond nice. The menu is well rounded and hard to choose just one thing because everything looks to die for. We went with the cilantro chicken and the SPICY! Chicken. The spicy one was awesome and our favorite. The cilantro was medium in heat, didn't have as much flavor as I hoped but it was still so good. Their naan was awesome. I wasn't sure if we were going to able to be seated with it being a Saturday, but the restaurant is larger than it appears from the outside and we were able to be seated immediately, which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately from that point on our experience was very lackluster. The girl who seated us said to let her know if we had any questions and then was never to be seen again, apparently she was not our waitress. Ok no big deal, however we were seated for a good 5-10 minutes before our waiter appeared. We weren't super pleased, but again not a huge deal. I think the topper to our lackluster experience was it took 30 minutes for us to receive our meal, which they tried to deliver to the wrong table. At first we were missing the kids rice, but thankfully it came shortly after, however another waiter told us to wait just to ensure we had the correct meal. I am sorry, but after waiting for 30 minutes I am not about to tell my overly hungry child that they cannot eat!! The food was quite delicious and had our experience been better I would probably have given 4/5 stars. The kids Dal Ghee rice was better than I anticipated as well as I throughly enjoyed the butter chicken. It took about half the meal for my husband to realize his Lamb Rohan Josh was spectacular when added to the top of his garlic naan... ha ha silly guy! read more

Saffron circle is a great Indian restaurant! It has authentic flavors and really good food. I have been there numerous times with different groups of people and everyone has loved it. We have tried biryani, tandoori, curries and the dosas my lunch mates have all had the meat dishes and I've had the vegetarian.) All are very good and would recommend any of them. This restaurant has great vegetarian options and I can always find something to eat here. (I did find 2 pieces of chicken in a curry I ordered that was supposed to have been just paneer, but they didn't charge me for that plate. I have had so many great meals at this place, that despite finding meat in my vegetarian dish, I will still go back again as I don't think this is indicative of poor processes on their part, but rather a one off mistake.) read more

We tried Saffron Circle for the first time last night. It was absolutely delicious. We started of with drinks, I had the Mango Lassi with rum, and my wife had the Mumbai Mule. Both were perfect. We ordered the tempura vegetables appetizer and a thing of garlic Naan. All of it was amazing. For entrees we had the Lamb Coconut Korma and the Paneer Saag. Both curries were super. It totally ruined the experience and the waiting staff were unprofessional with there approach and keeping tensions out of the main floor. I love trying new things, and I'm pleasantly surprised every time. This time we tried the samosa chaat, and it was awesome. This place is amazing. Best Garlic Naan we've had. We both got Tikka Masala, and the spice level was perfect. Can't comment on how busy this place gets - went on Easter and we were one of the only ones in the restaurant haha. But service was perfect and prompt and food came out quickly. One thing I will note is that my partners shrimp came with the tails still on which was very weird to find in the masala but other than that this place was super good. read more
