What a lovely destination for a yoga and sound bath retreat. It was a location that only held my group and it was just far enough from LA to make me feel like I went away. It has a very welcoming decor and comfortable bedrooms. I stayed in the communal room with a few other people. In total the communal room can hold 6 people with one shared bathroom. Luckily since it was just our group, our friends offered to let us use their bathroom to wash up if we are all getting out of the pool at the same time. The site has a nice pool, hot tub, a couple of hiking trails, dining area indoor and outdoor. The main area we used was the yoga room. They have some props available for use as well including block, eye pillow, straps and blankets. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The chefs, Ricardo and Lulu, are amazing. Even though everything was vegetarian- they were always very appetizing and filling! It really inspired me to cook more vegetarian dishes. Can't wait to have another retreat here. Tip: On the weekdays, you can rent their space through Airbnb.

As many others, I hit a wall and couldn't get back up. I knew tools like yoga, meditation, nature could possibly help but didn't know I could motivate myself to participate in any of these. I stumbled upon Sagrada wellness center, like many others, via Google search. Lucky for me it was a close drive away! I connected with Scott who answered my 84995 questions which really comforted me to make the decision to attend. I connected with the most beautiful people who shared their stories and helped me find ways to heal in my own. Food: plant based delicious healthy meals. I was sooo full after each meal! It was lovely to not have to cook or clean and just be fed :) THANK YOU! Location: quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Clean spacious pool, hot tub, two hiking trails. Room: I was in the communal which contained 5 queen beds, a small partition and then the 6th bed. Two sinks, one shower and one toilet. Cubbies for storage if needed, a nightstand and nightlight. We all became friends and it felt like a slumber party. Most of all it was clean - bathrooms cleaned daily. There is a fan, gets chilly at night so bring warm pjs. No complaints! Instructor: Nicole was so gentle, calming and healing. She made me feel like she was genuinely humbled to be chosen in our "break", "healing" or "relaxation". Personally I loved her style of yoga and Pilates. It def made me fall in love with yoga again. I also experienced restorative yoga for the first time - o my what a treat!!! Schedule: not too busy. Plenty of me time. We went into SLO one day to grab some cake from Madonna inn, coffee and then wine from local winery. Look at pictures for schedule that we had. I know I'm biased because I met such amazing people but it really did give me the kick start I needed. My body felt happy - it said thank you in a way for finally giving it attention. Also - great way to ease back into society after Covid. Feeling comfortable around strangers can be difficult now but after some hours - I felt safe.

I booked Sagrada based on a recommendation from a friend. I really didn't read much online, I basically just took her word for it. Well, I can tell you her recommendation did not disappoint! This space lives up to the name, Sagrada, or sacred. I felt so taken care of this weekend on the yoga wine and chocolate retreat. From the yoga classes with Victoria, to the meals made with love by Lourdes, the salt water pool and the wine tastings, this was the weekend I had been waiting for. I was able to engage with new friends and digitally detox from the the world outside of sagrada and it felt amazing! The beds are comfortable and the showers are like waterfalls. I was beyond impressed! I am blessed to have had an experience at Sagrada and so thankful for the staff that took excellent care of us. Thank you Scott, Eva, Lourdes, Ricardo and Victoria, the weekend was incredible!!!

The gorgeous surroundings, delicious dinners cooked by Scott and Eva, combined with the well-planned schedule and amazing yoga teacher Victoria make this place perfect for those searching for a yoga retreat. The communal room was tidy and my "roommates" and I became quite close and truly enjoyed the space. A wonderful experience that left me feeling nourished, peaceful, and whole.

Wonderful grounds with so much beauty and opportunities to find your place to relax. Amazing staff who are super friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Accommodations were very clean, comfortable and set up for all sorts of different types of guests. The food was truly beautiful and delicious! I highly recommend coming here for a retreat.

As I pause here for a moment of reflection about my time at Sagrada Wellness Retreat, my heart is full and filled with gratitude. From the moment we pulled up and set foot on the property we knew it was going to be special. We stayed in the king suite with the most comfortable bed in a spacious well designed building it had all the features you could ask for. Our patio opened up near the saltwater pool with a perfect spot to star gazing! Our retreat class focus was Myofascial & yoga by Jahara which was completely amazing! The group of 10 were all surrendering with joy and love for the practice, intent & appreciation for the 3 days we were together. There were visitors from around the world and friendships were formed to last a lifetime. I am filled with so many blessing I can't wait to return. Namaste

The weekend yoga & meditation retreat left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Natalie created a peaceful, safe environment for our group of about 12 people.... she even played her guitar and sang original songs during our sessions. My friend and I shared the Communal Room with other women and it was very comfortable. The only feedback for the organizers? Name tags for each person on the first day of the retreat (Friday afternoon) would have been helpful; I tried to learn everybody's name, but it was difficult without a "visual aid"

The retreat center is a family run center so has all the warmth of visiting a family friend without the coldness of a corporate run faculty. The latter I would put Esalen and 1440. We were welcomed by the owner Scott and the yoga/meditation leader Aaron upon arrival. They gave us the lay of the land and Scott showed us our room, the loft, and helped my co-retreated with her bag due to her mobility issues. The place was very clean and tidy and gave one the feel that the place is managed with a lot of heart. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were very thick and absorbent. Eva, the co-owner makes her own tea concoctions daily and had ready for us a nice mixture of flavor. It was so good that by late afternoon, the 8 retreat participants drank it all. The yoga was of a Vinyasa variety that pretty much followed the same flow each class. This was useful in that half of the participants were not regular practitioners or did not typically do vinyasa. Aaron's explanation at each transition was thorough. By the end of the weekend, I felt stronger in my poses. The food was all vegan and prepared by the retreat staff, Lourdes and Richie who were very gracious and sensitive to individual needs. Very tasty and I'd rate the food a 5. The yoga room was lovely and peaceful and all the requisite props with exception of yoga chairs. The room had adequate space for the eight of us, but would likely hold 20-25 retreaters with mats carefully placed. The loft was cute and cozy but tiny. Little space to place luggage but hooks and hangers were useful to optimize storage. Also the antique chest gave us more storage. Be aware though that you will not have access to the loft if there are planned activities in the yoga room as the loft is part of the yoga room. Communal room had double beds, a nice shower/toilet area and plenty of storage space for retreaters. Guests did mention that the beds made squeaking noises. Only reason my entire review is not a 5...had to request towels upon arrival and washcloth in the morning which were quickly provided, hot tub was lovely but set to 99 degrees first night but was again resolved for next night. The grounds were very beautiful and peaceful. Suggest: Request for tips should be provided in each of the rooms with a note and envelope. Provide a walking map...you may have done so but I missed that.

I was welcomed to Sagrada by Aaron. He showed me around the place and got me settled into my room. My Dr. had suggested the place as a way to reset body and soul! I was not disappointed. Our yoga instruction from lovely Leslie was thoughtfully wonderful. Her setting the scene for the entire weekend made everyone feel comfortable! The food and grounds were terrific as was the hot tub after a couple of yoga sessions..:) Hikes and beautiful scenery were easily fit into the retreat schedules! I would highly recommend Sagrada. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated! Thank you Sagrada

when my partner and I decided to join the hiking and yoga retreat at Sagrada in December, we didn't know we were about to have one of the most magical and memorable experiences of our lives. the retreat was led by Aaron and hosted by Kendall, who both set the tone with their kind, calm, and welcoming presences. The days usually started with meditation and gentle movement, followed by a beautiful hike in the mountains nearby, where we focused on mindfulness and connecting with nature. Aaron had a wealth of knowledge that he graciously shared about the wilderness and history in the area. Another yoga and meditation session took place in the afternoons before dinner. The sessions were accommodating to people of all levels. There was plenty of free time to spend in solitude or with others, as we wished. The meals we all shared together, which helped to build a sense of community among all of us. Speaking of meals, the food was absolutely delicious. Healthy, fresh ingredients were used in the all-vegetarian dishes we were served three times a day. This retreat is a gift that keeps giving. We will definitely be coming back again to deepen our mindfulness practice and spend more time in this beautiful place.

After working really hard (and nearly nonstop) for 2 years - I found myself in serious need of a getaway where I could relax, rejuvenate, turn off any form of electronics - I needed a serious break from my computer, the internet and social media - of which I had no idea I'd have such a close relationship with when I started my business... Can you say #digitaldetox?? I'm adventurous, outdoorsy and a free spirit at heart. Luckily, a quick search turned up EXACTLY what I was looking for (and didn't even know it). Lo and behold there was one spot waiting just for me at Sagrada Wellness' Yoga, Hiking, Wine and Chocolate Retreat in San Luis Obispo, CA - I mean, could a gal like me ask for anything better?? I just don't think so! But that wasn't all, we also enjoyed some meditation classes and I tried my first sessions of qi gong and transformative acupuncture too. I'm thankful I had the opportunity to enjoy this retreat and I definitely plan to visit again as soon as possible! I felt so well nourished by all of the delicious, fresh (and mostly vegan) cuisine we enjoyed throughout our entire stay, and adored every last loving detail and all of the wonderful cozy design elements combining rustic woods and metals - one of my personal favorite styles! My experience was peaceful, positive, intimate and restorative. I was able to rest my mind, reconnect with myself and learn a thing or two about who I am becoming. I also took a step back to appreciate how far my business has come as well as gain clarity on the direction it's going. It's so important to simplify and have those friendly reminders that baby steps are good things and better than BIG leaps sometimes (which is how I tend to travel through life)... Thank you for a wonderful experience Sagrada! - Recovering Overachiever (a.k.a. Angie Capri)

What a lovely place! I don't do yoga so I hesitated to come but I felt very welcomed. The food is incredible; so flavorful. Some folks brought their own cooked chicken, or avocado, and wine to share. I skipped the hike on Saturday with the group and instead let Griz, the resident dog, take me up to a lookout spot with chairs and he waited patiently while I did morning meditation. I can't say enough about how wonderful yoga is with live music. I am staying in the communal room because it was all that was available. Whatever concerns I may have had were unfounded. No shampoo, conditioner or hair dryer in room. Specialty services this weekend, body work/massage or astrology readings, were $150. I had the pleasure of body work by Anjuli (contactyoga.org). Very enjoyable weekend!

I would say overall my time spent at the studio was time well spent! Most of the classes have a gentle/restorative vibe and they were accessible for every level and age group. Yoga Village would have gotten a 5 star review from me if some of the classes were a little more strengthening/power style yoga (is there a name for that?) Being able to sample all the classes with the great introductory deal was very cool...I was able to quickly determine which classes would be best for me and to see if I would connect with the instructor. Connie's classes were by far the most organized and clearly taught, I knew she had been teaching for a while because her classes were so well attended and she kept a very nice flow and is very knowledgeable and kind. I also enjoyed the Pilates classes and the Monday night Hatha class. Everyone I met at the studio was kind and respectful of your practice. The overall vibe was very nice. The studio is a little tucked away in a newer/office type building and is close to Alphys Broiler.
