Bought a used SUV from them in early April 2026, check engine light was on when test driving. They let us know it was the catalytic converters, and they would replace them before sale. We gave a deposit so they could save the car for us while they replaced the cats. Took them multiple days to "replace" the cats, and when we picked up the car, the check engine light was off. It came back on before we even got home. Turns out they lied and never changed the cats, instead they spent the time clearing the check engine light so they could sell. Ultimately they admitted they didn't do the work and offered to install the cats after all but we chose to do it ourselves to avoid any further back and forth. They gave us a pair of cats, but neither of them was the one that actually needed replacing, so we still had to go out and buy it ourselves. I purchased a 2011 GMC Acadia - test drove it with Dan (who appears to be a nice old man just trying to make. living BUT) buyers be aware. The next day the tire pressure light came on...no problem we don't know why it's on but let us take a look...without the car 2 days. Get it back...the next day the check engine light is on...without my car 3 days- NEEDED a catalytic converter. Get it back and then the whole car shaking and jerks if you try to accelerate. Send the car back up to the shop by my son in law and I go when I get off only to find out that they say they didn't feel anything wrong with car. Asked for my money back and got a spill about I bought it "As Is"...not their problem anymore. Talked to Dan (Salesman) who by the way the owner Mike does not acknowledge as being an employee said he would get me into something different and to give him a little bit. You have a ton of cars on your lot so why not trade me out...because they are LEMONS! The owner yesterday mentioned that they buy the cars from auction and pretty much put lipstick on them and sell them and long as you sign "AS IS" they could care less. He would not honor his own salesperson word or text messages to get me into a different car stating he is not an employee there just someone who comes around BUT yet you have him accessing your inventory and doing test drives. Eric a different employee stated he was his uncle...so many lies and they can't keep the story straight. So in the end "BUYER BE AWARE". The vehicle needed some mechanical adjustments, which he facilitated at their adjoining business as part of the purchase agreement. Where do I start!!! I had gone a test drove a 2014 FORD Explore, The front passenger side made a noise. I let Eric know he right away said oh ya my dad said it was making a noise he thinks its the strut. They were asking for $7,500 only line. When I seen the veh it had a sticker on there for $6,900. So we talk and Eric says my dad said he will take $6,800 as is. if we fix the problem, he wants $6,900 . So my husband and I leave. we have a conversation the next day we agree on that if Eric will take $6,500 and fix the problem then I will buy the veh. So I send Eric a message on fb and he says my dad said yes he will do that. So He asked me to put a down payment of $500 I do that they keep the veh for 2 days. i KEPT FOLLOWING UP. Erick said its ready and told me they replaced the strut and that was not it, they ended up replacing the links and that fixed it. So I go and make sure its all good, YES IT WAS FIXED!!! I pay the rest of the money and he gives me a written agreement that if anything goes wrong with the same problem it had they would fix it. Ok cool. Well I have did not even have the veh for 2 weeks an the tire light came on. Fixed that. no big deal. well a week later my light comes on that the engine was at a high temp. NOT OVER HEATNG but almost there. So I check and there is no coolant in the reservoir. Ok I add some well 2 days later samething so I look and no coolant again. So my husband then calls around to see if we can get it checked. a few shops said they would not even touch it because if its the water pump its 12 hrs of labor. you have to take the motor apart UGH! So we find a place and take in and yep they said its the water pump and it has been bad for a while they said. So they asked if we wanted the trimming belt changed because its recommended every 100,000 miles an this veh has 144,000 sice they already have the motor apart, they also go on to tell us the brakes are bad all the way around yep I figured because I made this comment to my husband a day after I got it. So now not only did I pay $6,500 for this veh that I thought was good from them saying its been looked over and everything is great! NOW I have to pay a shop $5,000 to fix the water pump and other things that they should have seen before then sold the veh. FROM WHAT I SEE THEY DO NOT LOOK OVER THERE VEH AND JUST SELL THEM TO WOM EVER THEY CAN AND SAY AS IS HERE YOU GO!!!! I have reached out to Eric and asked them to give me some of the money like $1,500 or $2,000 back to help wth this bill and he told me bring the car here we will fix it and charge you only $2,000 but we can not give you money back as we are a SOLD AS IS... I gave him the opportunity to help me before I made this review. I could have made a great one because Eric is a very nice guy, BUT the company is not!!! So here is my review DO NOT BUY FROM HER UNLESS U TAKE UR OWN PPL TO LOOK OVER THE VEH VERY WELL.!!!! I will NEVER buy from here again. I have spent almost $2000 just to keep it running every system in this car is failing I realize it's a used car but it's ridiculous that I have to do this if I wanted to spend that kind of money I would've bought a better car, I should've listen to the other reviews, they have been discredited from the Better Business Bureau for not only not being a qualified business, but advertising that they are, and they have been revoked. we bought two cars from this place. first car no issues but someone hit us and the car ended up being totaled... we went and got another car from them that was supposed to have been well Inspected. Well on the drive home after buying the AC went out. I contacted them right alway and set an appointment to come bring the car back to get it checked out, as the salesman assured me he would take care of it no problem. Brought the car to the appointment and spent hours there while the guy checked it out, he couldn't get it working so he had the shop next door check it out. turns out it was the compressor that was no good. He then tells me he's gonna order the part and let me know when it comes in. Weeks went by, I didn't pester him because I figured the part might take time to arrive, honestly forgot about it because I was trusting him to get back to me and it wasn't hot out yet so we didn't need the AC yet. Messaged him and he had forgotten to order the part from the looks of it because he asked me what was wrong with it again as he had forgotten. He strung me along for another month!! finally comes back and says hey since it's been so long and you never came to your appointment my boss doesn't want me to take care of it.... like WTF?! I have text proof that I was waiting on HIM! Then ignored my messages... Anyone thinking of buying a car from this place RUN RUN RUN!!!!!! Bought a little sportscar 1/21/2023- a model I had been looking for. The interior of the car was filthy, when asked if someone smoked in it was told no but the amount of ashes in the trunk told a different story. Steering column motor (1 of 2) was out, which is typical of these cars so negotiated the price down for at least some of the repair. Walked out with the paperwork (or what I thought was all the paperwork) between two different people, lots of confusion and 6 other customers. Got home to realize I did not have title, just my receipt for payment, invoice of the cost, and temporary use permit. 1/22/2023 - Texted the son about the title - received response that "forgot to tell you every car we sell, 2-3 days later we get the title in and then we call the customer and you can either pick it up from us in person or I can mail it." Responded asking him to mail it. 1/25/2023 - got low coolant level notice. Had not driven the car very much due to waiting for the title. 1/28/2023 - texted son again that I had not received the title. 1/29/2023 - son responds over 24 hours later "so sorry, tomorrow right when I get in to work around 11 am I'll look and let you know asap". Never heard anything. 1/30/2023 - have hardly driven car, another low coolant level warning. 2/13/2023 - texted son again regarding the title and took the car into my imports mechanic and there is a hole in the radiator. Price of buying as-is but not being able to get the title to the car I paid cash for is getting ridiculous. read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They were not truthful from the get go. We saw a vehicle listed on Craigslist and called about it. We were told it was at the auto shop next door getting a part fixed on it. They told to come on down and look at it and it would be finished by the time we got there. When we arrived it was not even in the shop. The vehicle needed new tires, had a chip on the side mirror, a automatic door that wasn't working, and a couple other things we would have to pay for so we got them to come down in price $400. They said it would be finished in the auto shop the next day and we could come and get it. Eric told us that he promised he WOULD NOT sell it to anybody else! We ran the car fax on the vehicle (they do not provide) and found out the vehicle had 2 previous owners when they listed it was only 1. The next day comes, I heard nothing and had to call and text all day just to stay on top of everything. We were told the shop didn't get it in. Next day, I called first thing in the morning. We were told it would be in the shop by 2 and it would be finished in an hour. Eric said he'd get back to me and never did. My mom then stopped by to check since she was passing by the shop on her way home since we weren't getting anywhere on the phone. They sold the vehicle out from underneath us. It was listed for $7900 and agreed to sell it to us for $7500. Eric told us his father sold it to someone else for $8200. So not only did they screw us. He screwed someone else and was unfair to them on the listing price. And they never once called me to let me know that they sold it to someone else. I had to find out from my mother as we were sitting around waiting to see when we could go pick up our new vehicle. I text them and called and got no answer or text back. Don't waste your time or money on this dishonest family owned business. So many empty promises were given. Bought a used car for my elderly mother. Found them through Craigslist. Loved that the price I saw was the price I paid. (No worrying about sales tax or other fees.) We took the car out for a test drive and determined a few things needed to be fixed. Drove back and talked to them. They promised to check all the fluids and replace the burnt out bulbs. Next day, went to pick up the car and asked about a spare tire. They brought the mechanic out to show us where the spare should be. Promised to order us a spare tire and have it here within a week. (Didn't even have to ask!) I felt good about buying mom's car from them. They obviously take pride in ensuring the cars work and are dependable. In fact, when we asked about another car on the lot, the guy shook his head and said it was still under-going review. They won't sell it unless it's been cleared by the mechanic. (I have never had a big car dealership hesitate to sell me a car that they haven't even looked over!) Yes, it's a small shop but it's definitely worth a look if you are looking for a reasonably priced, clean, dependable car. read more

We were sold a vehicle with NON ACCURATE Mileage warning on title. Now that we have an attorney and are suing, we can see that this warning goes back to at least the title when Saguaro Motors purchased the vehicle. Advertised and sold as with accurate mileage. Transmission failed 30 days later, which would have been covered by maufacturer's warranty, but that warranty cannot be honored because of the Odometer warning on the title. THIS IS A FELONY, as ODOMOTER FRAUD is covered by FEDERAL LAW, and is punishable by prison time, but the owner actually tried to blame us and hung up on us when we called him - after we'd gone into the dealership and asked to have him call us. We will be without the vehicle until the lawsuit is settled - possibly months. To resolve this issue, we asked only for a LEGAL title that was clean and clear, and reflects the accurate mileage (the mileage that was listed in the ad and is written in all the paper work/documentation that we have). Of course Saguaro Motors can't do this because the NOT ACCURATE MILEAGE warning has followed this title for several transfers, and they still sold and advertised it as with actual miles. The owner will reply with a snide comment, I'm sure, but we have enough proof to file a lawsuit and open a case with the AZ attorney general. We were also told it came with 2 year emissions - NOT TRUE. Was a hassle to get the title. Only gave one star because you have to in order to post SPEND THE $40 and get your own CARFAX (Eric told us they'd done one and everything was fine) READ ALL REVIEWS, and take all of them into consideration. Would not recommend this place to anyone, and I would rate it 0 stars if possible. Bought a car from them at the end of January, and have done nothing but replace parts on it. The passenger side window did not work when i looked at it, the tires were worn and cupping, the car was dirty, and the A/C didn't work. They replaced the window motor, and agreed to replace the A/C compressor if I paid half of the cost. 4 months later the compressor went bad and they claim theres no parts warranty due to the discount they receive on parts. I've had to replace the tires, struts, valve cover gasket, spark plugs, oil feed line, and now the A/C compressor again. Was told that the emissions were good on the car for 2 years, ended up having to get that done so I could register the car. The interior was dirty(sunflower seed shells between the seats), and the salesman that helped me didn't even know the window was broken. For the price I paid for the car, I don't think I should've had to replace so many parts in 4 months of ownership. For a place that claims to care about their customers, and especially service members, they sure don't act like it once they have your money. Would not have bought the car if i wasn't in dire need of a second vehicle. read more

Bought a Used 2007 Jeep Liberty last summer (7/2/2018) from Saguaro Motors Inc., The Owner, Mike Jonas appeared to be a nice guy and really wanted to make the sale. He even put new tires on, fixed the windows that did not work properly and installed a radio/cd player. I asked him if this jeep was in good running shape like he advertised "Excellent Condition" on Craigslist. I asked him if it had any problems that we should know about such as the engine. His answer was "no", I check out all the cars I buy and this is a good one! ONLY 2,810 miles later the engine ceased.... grant it this is almost a year later to the date but we only took it out on weekends and it was parked in the driveway most of the time. I called Saguaro Motors this week to let the Owner, Mike know about the lemon he sold us and his spoke to his Nephew, Eric. Eric expressed his sympathy and that they will try to do whatever they can to help us and his Uncle Mike would call me the next day. This was 3 days ago and I have not heard a word from them. I was told it was safe for my family and that they do a full check on the car mechanically and make sure it is in great running condition. Overpriced cars with hidden problems, this is a Lemon lot! He buys dealer trade ins that are fraught with issues and then sells em for inflated prices. I bought a car from them and within days it began having major problems. I had to replace a coil pack, the check engine light came on, the transmission and engine began having major problems. It would cost about $8,000 to repair. They promised to warranty it but later said the sale was as-is. They refused to do anything to help. However, every vehicle regardless if claimed to be sold as-is, is covered by Arizona's 15 day 500 mile implied warranty law ARS 44-1267. This law requires them to either make repairs or return the vehicle. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from here . They are slimey car salesmen. I bought a car from them and the next day come to find out the clockspring and transmission are bad. I asked them to fix these things and they only fixed the clockspring not the transmission. They also tried to tell me that it was normal for the car to jolt when in reverse. This is not the the only issue with the car when in reverse sometimes the car doesn't doesnt catch reverse at all. But according to them these things are so called normal. They claimed to have had a conversation with the mechanic shop next door and claimed that they too said it was normal. Its interesting how this conversation was had right after I had left the car with them . Why is it that these things weren't said while I was there? when I asked for my money back I was told no because at the time of sale they said cars are sold as is. I find it interesting these details were conveniently left out of the conversation before and during the time of sale. But then again according to Eric things slip past them and they're only human. That was his response when I asked him if the issues wrong with the car were my fault or their's. Then when asked if I could exchange the vehicle for anything similar my options were they take the rogue plus another grand or more on on top of that in exchange for another vehicle. Horrible excuse of a Dealership... Nothing more than a SCAM ARTIST with their own personal junk yard!! Purchased a vehicle and literally less than 24 hours after driving it off of the lot, the transfer case cracks, and destroys the car. At first, Saguaro Motors acted like they were going to do the right thing and take care of it. However, after they had the car towed from where it had broke down, I was informed that their mechanic told them that the incident was my fault and that I must have switched the car into park while driving. This is TOTALLY and completely FALSE. The car broke down on a residential road, and was only going about 5mph, but there is no way that the car was put into park at all. So, they expect me to just eat the $5,000K car, plus the $80 they spent on towing. I am so infuriated I can't see straight!!! LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!! ANYONE WHO CHOOSES TO EVEN CONSIDER BUYING FROM THESE GUYS WOULD BE BETTER OFF JUST THROWING THEIR MONEY STRAIGHT INTO THE TRASHCAN. I drove out to look at a vehicle that they had advertised in "excellent condition" and that was a waste of time. I took a mechanic with me and he found numerous issues with the vehicle. The car was listed as "no accidents" but if you looked at it in the sunlight you can clearly see where the side had been repainted. Not all accidents show up on carfax unless they are reported. The vehicle also had a lot of scratches, etc...Buyer beware... read more
