After a full day of work, the last thing I wanted to do was drive across Miami in search of dinner…read more Fortunately, Miami Lakes has its own surprises. One of them is 1910 Restaurant & Bar, a Spanish-inspired restaurant that blends premium steaks, seafood, and a little theatrical flair without losing sight of flavor. The meal opened with an order of Cheese Balls, crisp golden spheres that reminded me of pão de queijo, except they skipped most of the bread and focused almost entirely on the cheese. The exterior shattered pleasantly, giving way to a molten, creamy center. Paired with a pineapple sauce, each bite balanced sweet and salty in exactly the right proportions. My wife ordered the Australian Wagyu Flap Sirloin, a 12-ounce cut grilled over charcoal and served with house-made chimichurri. It was everything you hope Wagyu will be, deeply beefy, wonderfully tender, and rich without becoming overwhelming. The chimichurri added brightness without stealing the spotlight. Then came the dish that first caught my attention. The La Reina de la Casa, or "Queen of the House." At first glance, it almost feels designed for social media, a cheese pizza crowned with an enormous grilled octopus. I would be lying if I said that presentation didn't influence my order. Fortunately, this wasn't style over substance. The pizza itself stood on its own with a crisp crust and generous layer of bubbling cheese. The octopus, however, was the reason to order it. It was expertly grilled, tender without a hint of chewiness, and seasoned with a spice blend the server politely described as the chef's secret. Whatever was in that seasoning deserved to remain a secret, because it transformed an already well-cooked octopus into something memorable. Dessert brought things back to the classics with a crème brûlée. The sugar crust cracked cleanly beneath the spoon, revealing a silky vanilla custard underneath. Simple, elegant, and exactly the ending the meal needed. 1910 could have leaned heavily on flashy presentations and premium ingredients. Instead, it paired both with thoughtful execution. That's a far more difficult trick to pull off. Some restaurants earn attention because they're photogenic. The best ones earn repeat visits because the food is every bit as impressive as the photos.

She simply approached the table and immediately asked what type of water we wanted, which set an impersonal tone for the evening. The food arrived only room temperature. The grouper dish was overwhelmed by tomatoes and Parmesan cheese, making up what felt like half the plate. It was soggy, underseasoned, and lacked any standout flavors. The steak and risotto dish was similarly disappointing. The rice was slightly undercooked, and while the steak itself was cooked properly, it was bland and lackluster. Nothing we ordered felt exceptional or justified the cost. The biggest issue came when we discovered a long piece of hair in our side of fried plantains. To the restaurant's credit, they apologized and provided a complimentary dessert, which was appreciated and is the reason this review receives one star instead of none. Overall, the service was uninspired, the food was underwhelming, and the quality did not match the prices. We won't be returning.

The food was really good, the service was attentive, and the seafood prices were reasonable. The kids' menu had good choices and was priced well. We almost didn't go because some of the reviews weren't great, but I'm glad we ignored them and gave it a try. My husband and I are pretty picky when it comes to restaurants, and we both enjoyed everything. Honestly, some of the reviews we read didn't match our experience at all. The service at the bar was great too. I brought balloons for the celebration, and the staff helped get everything set up, which was very nice of them. We had a great dinner and would definitely recommend giving Adrian Fish Seafood a try.

From the moment we walked in, I had a feeling there might be issues. There were only three other families in the restaurant, yet it still took quite a while for the hostess to seat our party of four. After being seated, we waited nearly 20 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us. Once we placed our order, the food took a long time to arrive, only for my husband's surf and turf and side of fries to come out cold. We sent the meal back, but when it returned, the steak was overcooked and the same lobster tails appeared to have simply been reheated, leaving them overcooked as well. The waitress brought over the manager, but unfortunately he was not helpful. He seemed surprised the food came out poorly a second time and simply offered my husband a sandwich instead. Overall, the service and food quality were extremely disappointing, especially given how empty the restaurant was.

This place has great drinks! Crafted by great mixologists. I got the peachy lychee from the seasonal menu. Sweet but not too sweet. Hunger struck randomly so I decided to browse the menu. They had several apps I was interested in. Tip - the buns and empanadas comes with 3 per order. I decided to get the short rib and mash potatoes. The gravy that came with the mash was so good! I wish the dish would've had a different veggie. The broccoli was very small. There was a lot of potatoes. Wish it was a little more portioned but it was good.

Both had cilantro aioli but that did little make either of them tasty. While the short rib meat was tender, it was boring and flavorless. The Churassco was super fatty and chewy, if there was onion jam on the sliders, well I couldn't tell. The atmosphere is chill and the outdoor seating does have greenery that provides a bit of privacy for the patio seating, but I was underwhelmed. Service was nonexistent and food was bland.
