    Bánh canh

This is hands down one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've been to--not just in Denver, but anywhere! And I have the glowing praise from my Vietnamese mom to back that up! We tried two different types of bánh canh (Vietnamese "udon" noodle soup), and both broths were incredibly rich and flavorful. My mom had the roasted duck noodle soup, and she couldn't stop raving about it--from the perfectly cooked duck to the depth of the broth. She's a tough critic, so that says a lot! My sister and mom also got durian and soursop smoothies, respectively, and both were big fans of their drinks! The herb plate was generous, to say the least. We actually had to ask the server to take some away because there was no way we could finish it all. But beyond the quantity, the quality was on point--10/10. I didn't spot a single brown leaf or any imperfections. Everything was fresh and vibrant. As for the service, it was equally top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, making us feel like we were part of their family the whole time we were there. My mom's already planning a family outing here to try even more dishes from their extensive menu. Can't wait to come back!

This is a solid spot for Vietnamese cuisine with a large, varied menu. Prices are reasonable, especially considering today's economy. We tried the pho, which was decent--the broth could've used a bit more depth, but they did serve it with plenty of fresh herbs and bean sprouts. We also had a flavorful duck entrée with mushrooms and veggies. The flavors were great, though the duck itself was a bit on the lean side.

The Vietnamese food here is so authentic like my mom's home cooking, that I was craving while visiting Colorado! The Guo Cuon was enough to feed our table of 8, they brought out 3 full bags of rice paper, and we had almost a full bag to take home. The pork and crab was SO good! The salads were SO good, we ordered the pork, shrimp, and seafood one that had squid! Everything was so yummy but the jellyfish on top was quite salty. The mussels were so good, I'd recommend not adding the extra salt and pepper, just the leaf that comes with. We also ordered the bun Bo hue, the spicy beef noodle, but it wasn't up to my standard. The broth was not spicy and the noodles were too soft. The bun lemongrass, the noodle bowl, had an overwhelming amount of noodles. It was ok at best. The beef was good but not what I expected. We also ordered flat noodles, which was fried and stir fried again, very crispy and soft at the same time. I have never had it like that, but it was good. The veggies and meat on top soften the noodles. The Com Dac Biet, the rice dish with the pork, chicken and beef with veggies and egg, was good. Exactly what you'd expect. The pork was the best! Overall, such a good spot to try so much food! The service was good, with a large party. The food came out quick. The ambience was good, not modern but had large TVs. The waiter turned on the soccer game for visitors who asked for it. There is also a large VIP room with karaoke in the back! I'd definitely come back when I visit again!

This place is so freaking good! My bf and I each got what we always do at Vietnamese restaurants- a combination bun bowl for me and pho with rare steak and brisket for him. Mine was so flavorful and had the cucumbers with the serrated edges which I love! They gave me plenty of fish sauce and it was perfect. The noodles seemed like a different kind than the traditional vermicelli but it didn't affect the flavor or experience at all- just an observation. The pork was super fatty so I could t each much of it- that is the picture of the pho spoon with meat bits in it, to show how much fat I tore off. A note about the pho spoons in general: they don't have the curve at the top end to be able to lean it on the side of the bowl so my bf's spoon kept falling in his pho. He said the broth was really good, not too salty and very umami. He said he got better the more he ate as well. Service was good but what really took it a step above was that they boxed my leftovers for me. That's never an expectation but definitely a bonus. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend.

8 tiny fatty pieces of meat. For $19. Sad.

This was disappointing at best. The meat portions were so small and the brisket was mostly fat. The noodles were so hard they looked like they were a day or two old. We had to reheat the broth twice to even get it warm enough to make the raw steak edible. Highly Do Not Recommend. The Boba was ok, but again for the portion, very disappointing. Find another place for pho for sure.

We arrived early for an event so we decided to have an early brunch. Heard about this restaurant so we went in. Greeted and seated right away. We ordered and of course I ended up with a no soup bowl of noodles. Sigh. I always forget to look closely. I ordered the grilled shrimp rice noodle bowl and he ordered the Pho Dac Biet. It's combo meats in a beef flavored rice noodle soup. Because it was cold the soup was lovely. I took some and spooned it into my noodle bowl. He liked his dish and ate it all. The grilled shrimp in my dish was delish. Tasty and well seasoned and not over cooked. Just not a fan of the dry noodles. If I had one complaint it would be that the server didn't refill my water and I ran out. They were busy chatting with each other. Would we come back? I'm not sure.

I was craving snails and Saigon Bowl was one of the few places in Denver that serves up just the way I like them! They came out sizzling hot and packed with flavor! My soup was also good. Service was a little slow but overall a good experience.

After looking at two I still didn't know how much hot sake was or the sizes offered and if they had other kinds -- absolutely no transparency on price when it's not on a menu anywhere. They have Lucky Buddha bottles all over the place but no idea how much those were, either. Mixers? I see bottles but no prices cause nothin is listed in any drink menus. So weird. The pho is very good and other meals have always been. I think it's on the pricier side here for everything. It gets so expensive to go out when a modest meal/drink set ya back $50. It's just pho! And a basic adult drink like super cheap house sake or tap beer. But anywho, this is our world now. Just going out less & less than I used to! They don't have any deals like happy hour. Service was incredibly slow for how empty the restaurant was. After more than 30 minutes of waiting and no sign of our server, another server finally came to check on us and realized none of our order tickets made it to the kitchen. This could have easily been recognized by the original server had he even showed up to check on us during this time. I wish I could say the food was worth the wait. The pork egg rolls we got had just 1 piece of lettuce and barely pickled veggies to accompany it. I was confused that my house pho with beef short rib came with the meat on the side, which was sadly very cold and chewy. The broth itself was fine, but the chili oil pooled so much and was too greasy to be palatable. Our server did at least remove the apps from our bill as an apology for the service and I did at least find the food edible. For a $20 bowl of pho though I am still left feeling offended and full of regret that I didn't just wait it out for Noodles by Nina. We all left agreeing that the only enjoyable part of our meal was the 2010s hits playlist.

It came with steamed bean sprouts, cucumber, and fish sauce to dip the dumplings or just pour over the dish.
