This place has became a family favorite. We get this every month and the same thing. The portions are huge. I love getting the com ga xa moi, with extra fried rice. HACK pour the soy sauce for the chicken over the rice as well. Service is quick. Lots of seating inside!

Saigon Jade is one of the few Vietnamese spots that serves a variety of dishes that Vietnamese people eat rather than what's most palatable/sellable to the masses. So, if you're looking for something authentic and different than what you'd normally find, then definitely come here. Onto the food I ordered this particular visit. I got the bún mọc noodle soup. The broth is light in flavor allowing the pork to shine. I love chà lụan and having it in this soup was comforting and satisfying. Their phở is very good too, but don't pass up on trying their banh hỏi. The service to get your order can be a little slow during peak times, but it's worth a little bit of wait for some solid Vietnamese food. It's your pretty typical restaurant inside with plenty of seating.

This location is on the NE corner of Broadway and Dobson facing East. The restaurant is a large open spaced seating. It was busy and that is always a good sign. We were a group of six and I found out at checkout that 20% is automatically added as tip. This is relevant for groups because I did not find out till I was told when checking out before I could add more, thankfully. There were various persons who were involved in our table service. Someone brought water and utensils. Someone else took our order. The menu is large and there are many options. The prices are reasonable and that is a big plus. The portions are appropriate to large for their price point comparatively. We decided to choose 7 items which may have confused the kitchen as one dish was delayed significantly longer than the others (10-15) mins. We had 2 fried rice dishes which were fantastic. The chilis, fish sauce, peppers and additions were a great way to add flavor or modify your dish. Next came our 3 Pho soups and those came with cilantro and onion, while standard basil, jalapeño, sprouts, and the additions are on the side. The broth tasted a bit lighter, but not heavily watered down. Still had oils visible, star anise and traditional flavors present with more of a sweeter profile. The duck soup was rich and flavorful with noodles and a surprising crunch to contrast texture. The pork arrived after we had to ask a passing waitress for help. She delivered and told us it was missed by the kitchen. The pork was flavorful and very tender. Sorry about the picture, couldn't wait. The place was busy and while I could have asked for a discount, I think they deserve full price and mixups happen and I do not need a discount as the restaurant already offers fair prices. This was my first time here and I would give it 3.5 stars. There are a few things to change to make this place exceptional. Meanwhile I will enjoy it as being under the radar and I plan to return and try more dishes. Their staff are not exceptional in their customer service, but respond quick when asked. As with many international restaurants, one must not expect 5 star service from paper napkin restaurants. They all are working and although the processes could use a bit more organization, the food options and additions will enhance you culinary experience.

Came here last night, as our fav Vietnamese rice place closed early. I got the combo rice plate and my s/o got the shaken beef rice plate. Our food arrived after 15 min or so, not too long in wait time. I did wish my soup came out first though, so I'd have something to sip on while waiting. The shaken beef came out first, there were move veggies on the plate than actual meat for almost $18. We both felt like it was a rip off. Then my combo plate came out and it looked way better than the shaken beef plate. Both tasted good, and plates were very colorful. If we were to come again we definitely wouldn't get the shaken beef again but would the combo plate. Service was sparse and they weren't busy. Had to go up the the counter for anything extra we needed, while there were only three other tables dining in. Also the random inventory everywhere was a bit off putting too, made me wonder how disorganized it might be in the BOH too.

I came to Saigon Jade in Mesa around 11am yesterday with some friend, and even though it was already starting to get busy, we were seated after only a short five minute wait. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone right away. We started things off with the Spring Rolls (I couldn't try them because of my pork allergy), but my friend said they were fresh, flavorful, and nicely wrapped. They ordered the special broken rice dish, he liked it but mentioned the chicken was a little overcooked. I went with the Pho Nam (well-done brisket pho). The broth could've used a bit more depth and the noodles were just slightly firm for my taste, but overall it hit the spot. By the time we were eating, the place was packed which clearly says something about how popular it is! It got so busy that tables took a bit longer to be cleaned, but the team was doing their best to keep up. Honestly, the energy in the room just made it feel like one of those local spots people really love. I definitely want to come back and try a few other dishes. Good service, solid food, and bustling vibe. Just come hungry and with a little patience it's worth it!

The restaurant is spacious and clean. Menu has many authentic Viet dishes which I like. It was hard for me to choose due to variety of options. I had bún mắm 5/5 which was fragrant and fermented. The toppings were abundant with roasted pork, fish, shrimp, fishcake, eggplants and a bed of various veggies Overall experience was great. Service was fast and attentive.

This is the first pho place I've been too that the soup itself came out hot and stayed hot the entire time.. I saw that there are a lot of dishes here that no other pho places I've seen had. I can't wait to come back here and try them.

I broke out into an itchy rash immediately after leaving the restaurant!!! I went home and drank an immunity drink hoping it would help. They forgot about our table for quite sometime after sitting down, despite the restaurant being fairly empty. They finally served us water - which we had no idea the bits floating around in it were infused oranges, lemons and pineapple, until we asked. There are a couple of standard dishes. I usually like to try - appetizers and they're great for sharing. The eggrolls (Cha Gio) were delicious. They were served with small bits of lettuce, but there was no mint on the plate. I'm glad that I asked for because the girl brought me the most beautiful mint I've almost ever seen! The nguoc mam sauce was plain with no carrots or chilies in it, which was surprising? It was very sweet. Then we tried the spring rolls wrapped in rice paper (goi cuon), shrimp. They were good, there was a very small bit of vermicelli noodles in them, and a lot of lettuce inside of course shrimp as well and a thin slice of pork. We dipped them in the peanut sauce that was given to us, and there was some fried crisps on top of the sauce. The sauce was tasty!!! The main dish we shared was a Pho with chicken. Um, Not gonna lie it was Not my favorite. Could have used more broth, and the broth was so really light in flavor missing the depth of spice that I would've expected. The chicken pieces tasted really old and were dry even within the soup. They forgot about our additions plate, consisting of basil (very beautiful basil), bean sprouts, lime/lemon so we had to ask for that. The Pho definitely needed it. Took a few bites.... Never again. It's quiet inside, nothing on the walls. It's an interesting place that as we were leaving filled up people rather quickly!!!

Came to Saigon Jade to celebrate a friend's birthday. The place is pretty spacious with high ceilings, great for a group dinner. At first, one of the servers tried to take our order, but he didn't speak much English and couldn't answer some of our questions (like one friend's shrimp allergy). Luckily, another guy came over and helped us out, very helpful! All the food came out fast and everything was really tasty. There are still a bunch of dishes I want to try, so I'll definitely be back!

Best vietnamese egg rolls I've had for sure, and I could have drank the fish sauce dipping sauce. Pho was solid, very beef forward though and not a lot of aromatic flavor. We came around closing and were served very quickly. Restaurant is pretty spacious and clean.

The pho here was pretty good. They give you so much noodles that usually I'm able to finish my bowl but this time, it felt like it was never ending! I liked their vegetarian spring rolls too. The best part was their orange infused water. It was actually very refreshing and surprising that they had this. Service was okay- there's not a lot of workers but the space is so large we had to wait to flag down the workers before realizing that you pay up front.

4/14/25: We came back to this restaurant to give it another chance. This time, we came at lunch time on Friday. We came with a larger party again. On this visit, I started out with Egg Rolls. They were tasty and full of meat. We also had the Combination Plate, Regular Pho, and Pho with Beef Bone. The service was much more prompt on this visit. The food was tasty. The atmosphere is very casual since it is located in a strip mall. We will visit again when we come back to Phoenix. 4/10/25:I am not sure what happened on our visit. We had read the wonderful reviews. I was excited to come here since my wife is Vietnamese and we recommended this restaurant to some friends based on reviews. When we arrived, we asked for a table for 5 adults, 3 kids, and 1 infant. We ordered Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls for appetizers. We also placed our orders for entrees. After this, things went south. One of the people in our party orders grilled pork which came with a fried egg. When the plate arrived, the egg was not there. Were they trying to save money for because of the price eggs? We complained and the fried egg came out 10 minutes later. We also ordered thin noodles for the kids. While the kids looked on to the adults who got their food, they sat in their seats waiting for their food to arrive. On top of that, the Pho came out 15 minutes later than the rest of the entrees. How does Pho come out 15 minutes late at a Vietnamese restaurant? I complained several times to the waitress. She explained that 1 cook had left and another cook had taken over. At the end of the meal, they must have known the service was bad because they added the tip on before we could close out. It is a shame because even though the food came out in a staggered manner, it was actually tasty. The atmosphere is a casual restaurant in a strip mall. Our service was terrible. The food was tasty. Based on our experience, we would not come back. But, my wife would like us to return to this business to give it another chance. I am hoping they can do better next time

Local Vietnamese restaurant serving great food. I had a little bit of a language problem on the phone, I wanted to see if they can save a table of 12 for a birthday celebration. I got one of my friends to call and speak to them in Vietnamese. They saved us a table and were ready for us when we got there! I have to say during my visit, I see that they had a huge amount of take out orders. They have a good size restaurant to larger parties. We ordered and shared a lot of the appetizers and then our own main dish. We got a lot of food to try: fried egg rolls, Pho with Beef Bones, Fine Thin Rice Vermicelli with grilled pork skewers and spring roll wrappers, Fine Thin Rice Vermicelli with roasted pork belly and spring roll wrappers, shrimp chips, etc. The food was delicious! The service was good but they out of a lot of things this visit.

If I could give them 10 stars , I would. The food is beyond excellent. They were so good before the expansion and now with the wide variety of food in their menus, it's like icing on the cake. There are many dishes that aren't available, just yet. But the dishes that they have on their menus, I have not yet found any that aren't good. Do not pass on Banh Canh Cua - Vietnamese Udon Crab Soup! I would say this is one of their specialty dishes. I never really liked it as a dish before, until I had it here. I'm in love! Bun Dau Mam Tom and Com Ga Xoi Mo are another good ones as well. Service is awesome, however they do get really busy so, be patient with the speed of the service. read more

I Ordered mì nam vang lack of meat tastes too bland Mi Nam vang supposed to have liver, heart,squid, . There Only a few slices of bbq pork , little bit of minced pork and 2 quail eggs plus tiny shrimps. Pho , the noodle is over cooked Disappointed ! Excellent food and service, I think I found my new loves. I ordered two chicken pad Thai and it was ready as promised. An elderly man outside had answered the phone and knew my order was ready before I had my car door opened. The only thing I would change was more spice. I got a generous helping and two dinners 20 dollars. Good food and great service, I will return. I did drive by it three times before I found them. They're located in the building with a christen center, closest to target. It's the first store front you see . Excellent. Update : try and use their direct line . They have no CONTRACTS with beyond menu or grubhub and even though I put I was getting take out they still charge you . Price for two meals this time was doubled ! read more

Saigon Jade is my backup for pho when my favorite pho restaurant is closed. The food is ok -- the broth isn't as rich as I'd expect. The chicken in the pho ga is often dry. I ordered the shrimp pho once and the shrimp was slightly undercooked (to be fair, I ordered it to-go, so the broth wasn't hot enough to properly heat through the shrimp once it got home). The Vietnamese rolls are also mostly lettuce. read more

Great food and service! My only complaint is that they brought out cold water for the rice paper which took a while to soften the paper to be able to wrap the rest of the food. I'm used to using hot/warm water to help minimize the time to soften the rice paper. read more

Super cute family owned shop. Friendly staff, very clean, has limited seating. If you are thinking about going over there during a main dinner turn, go a bit earlier. Thai iced tea is bomb, curry is delicious, and authentic tasting. Order the potstickers, you won't be disappointed. Pad Thai is a bit sweeter then I'm used to, but I countered that with extra spice. I will be a regular in this awesome find! read more

LOVE SAIGON JADE! I called and asked if it would be alright if I brought my pup and they set up a table especially for us right outside and consistently checked on us to make sure we were okay:) Not only is the service great but the food is flavorful and well portioned! I have had pho and plenty of places and judge it very critically, I love this place for their curry noodle and their bun bo hue! Also if you love Thai tea and coconut order their Thai tea with coconut milk and you won't regret it! Oh and I love their water! You'll see what I mean! read more

We have a house divided. I'm an omnivore and my better half is vegetarian, but tries to eat mostly vegan. Having been born and raised in the Bay Area, we were spoiled with all the awesome Vietnamese and other Asian restaurants they have to offer. Luckily we found Saigon Jade. I can't fully express how great their customer service is, you have to see it for yourself. Their menu is amazing, which includes a full vegan menu for those who eat vegan or for those who like to have non-meat options occasionally. The food is amazing! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a bowl of tasty pho, but Saigon Jade is so much more than just a pho shop. They do have pho, and it is delicious, but there's so much more than just pho and spring rolls (also incredibly well done). Their garlic crab meat fried noodle plate is amazing. Lots of crab meat, vermicelli noodles cooked to perfection. The beef stew is very hearty, meat is great (not stringy or chewy). Their Vietnamese curry is great, too. You can order it with rice or bread. We went with bread which is great to soak up the curry in the bowl. From the vegan menu, my gf swears by the vermicelli with vegan pork. She always gets extra vegan pork because it's so good. She's a light eater so she'll scarf down the first half and reheat the rest later. According to her it still tastes great reheated (I can back that up, as I usually steal a bite or two). She's also ordered the vegan pad Thai and loved it. Their attention to detail is really what makes this place shine. Even the dipping sauces for the wontons is insanely better than any other restaurant we've been to. It feels like you've made a close friend with a Vietnamese person who's invited you over for some epic family meal. I would definitely recommend checking them out! read more

I'm probably a little biased, due to only eating pho from Unphogettable (which I enjoy), but... This pho is much more authentic-like. The beef was fantastic as it was fresh, melt-off-the-bone steak. Nice family run restaurant. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Def look forward to eating there again. read more

This place has completely exceeded my expectations! My sister and I are both vegan and were looking for a place to eat for dinner and saw this place just opened up with a full vegan menu!! (They also serve non-vegan options and they deliver) It's a cute, small, family-owned business in a great spot; located about 5 minutes from the freeway and within walking distance to Mesa Community College. There's plenty of places to park as well. We were greeted by our lovely waiter as soon as we walked through the door and were sat immediately. The place is very clean and the bathroom was clean as well. We were given two menus; one with all the food and the other with all the drinks and desserts. I started off with a refreshing, ice cold water infused with oranges and mint and my sister got a thai ice tea with coconut cream which I took a sip of and it's fantastic. We browsed the vegan menu for a bit and decided to get spring rolls, vegan pho, and later we ordered sticky mango rice and fried banana rolls. The food, drinks, and dessert were fairly priced and the portion sizes were huge! My sister ended up having to take her entree and dessert to go. On taste critique, the spring rolls were fantastic. Nice and light while filling you up. The same goes for the vegan pho. It came with a variety of vegetables like bok choy and mushrooms, to name a few, and tofu! The broth was airy and fresh. To finish both desserts were tasty and felt healthy as the fried banana rolls were not too oily and the sticky mango rice had a lighter, not too intense sweet taste. I love this restaurant's emphasis on not only great tasting food, but their dedication to fresh ingredients and no MSG. The service was excellent as well, as we were visited multiple times to fill up on water and ask about the food. All in all, I wish I could give this place higher than 5 stars. They hit it out of the park on every aspect; location, cleanliness, service, and food. If I lived closer, I'd be here all the time! My advice is to start coming before word spreads and this place gets packed!!! read more

Excellent first time ordering experience, the food was delivered ahead of schedule, so it was hot & delicious on arrival. I ordered the Ginger chicken, BBQ Pork sandwich & seafood pad Thai- everything was fantastic. The BBQ pork sandwich was packed with the veggies in a separate bag, so they were crisp & fresh, the baguette was crunchy on the outside and soft inside, the pork was tender and scrumptious! The seafood pad Thai included 3 shrimp, 4 large pieces of grilled squid, & a clam - doesn't sound like much but enough not to be overpowering yet incredibly flavorful. The ginger chicken was packed full of white meat chicken and veggies, a bit light on ginger but enough that you know it's there. Great delivery experience, will def try this place in person in the future. read more

Great food. Initial service was awesome. Here is why I'm giving them a two. The entire time i sat in the restaurant, a man that worked there just stood and stared in my direction the entire time. There were at least three other tables where people were sitting. Kind of creepy and extremely off putting. Since the food was great, I'll just get it to go next time. read more

Food is amazing! We got first the grilled pork rolls, then the #3.1 and #3.4 ( be sure that you like sweet and salty for this dish). Oohhhhh sooo good. Water is infused with pieces of , served really cold in a glass cup, which makes a big difference, yes maybe I'm picky with my water hehehe. Good. Not great. The beef soup was darker than I'm used to and greasy. They didn't skim the fat off the top like other places. I did enjoy the cold salad they made with pickled veggies, pork, and shrimp. Just a little heavy on the sugar. But it was refreshing on a hot day. read more

Just ordered delivery from here and wow, I'm impressed. This is more a 4.5 but I'll round up due to finding a yummy Asian place. I ordered the seafood udon soup (this was good but a bit oily), the Tom yum soup (great flavor--so much better than the Thai places in Arizona), a sids of pho broth (tastes authentic), some steamed veggies (I mean how can you go wrong), and a yummy lime soda drink. I had also ordered some tendons, but they either ran out or decided not to include it so it was refunded. I was a little annoyed cuz I was making my own veggie pho with tendon so I wish they had called to ask if I want to replace with something else. But I have to say I was extremely please with the food and will definitely be going to the restaurant directly or ordering from them again! read more

My husband and I were craving Vietnamese food. We found this restaurant on yelp and decided to give it a try, and I am so glad we did! The moment you walk in, you can smell the delicious spices in the broth from the pho soup. I decided on a pho, while my husband tried the thin rice vermicelli. The broth from my soup was salty, a bit sweet from the star anise, and had a very slight spice at the end from pepper. The combination of flavors was perfect and just what I hoped for. You can tell this soup has been simmered for hours and cooked with love If you have never tried pho, check this place out! Being from Montana it's hard to find good pho, so any time I travel I seek it out. Ordered from Saigon jade and was pretty disappointed. I ordered off their online menu, the person I ordered from didn't give me any pricing for any of my items, she said 20 minutes so went pick up my food. The prices have increased by at least 35 percent it took almost 45 minutes to get my food and the pho was ok. Mostly brisket fat, very little rare steak. I recommend finding a different place to anyone looking for good pho. read more

We are updating our review from 2 years ago to say Saigon Jade is still our favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the valley. They offer outstanding service and excellent, authentic food. The PHO broth is rich and extremely flavorful. Most other establishments do not take the time to do not this right. The appetizers are great along with all their entres. They are in a new location with high ceilings and very good air circulation. We eat here at least once a week. My name is Jade but of no relation. We just love authentic Vietnamese food! read more

The reason that I gave them 1 stars because it is overpriced. The Bun Dau Mam Tom it DID NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE ON THE MENU. Just few thin pork slices with few pieces tofu but charged us for 18 dollar?? Doesn't make any senses. NEVER COMEBACK even though customer service was nice. read more

Every time I've come here over the past year we've been seated immediately with a smile and some refreshing fruit infused water. The service is great and incredibly fast, any time you wait is well worth it, trust me. I personally am in love with their Mi Vit Tiem but I've also tried their pho and Bun rieu which are delicious also. They used to have a limited choice of appetizers but very recently they changed that up, I've now tried their egg rolls and fried tofu which are both incredibly flavorful. I highly recommend trying out this amazing little restaurant, they're as amazing as home cooked Vietnamese food! read more

Whenever my family and I crave for Pho this is where we go. (After being to 3 other different places) Not only that it's very delicious, clean and the prices are reasonable, but the staff is always polite, friendly and happy to answer our questions regards to the dishes that are on the menu. ( I think he's the cook and the owner?) It's always good to have dinner with the family with 2 small children in a restaurant that you feel comfortable and welcome. Been here twice now and I have been recommended this to our friends :) read more

Of course, had to wait for the hype to die down before checking it out. Once there, the server explained the process - basically you just place all your orders through the iPad that's on the table. Very convenient to scroll through the different categories and everything has pics to help you decide what to order. Once you have your selections in your cart, you just send your order to the kitchen. You can do this for multiple rounds, basically just small to medium sized orders until you feel like you're at a good stopping point. The first thing to select is the broths. You can choose 2 broths or 4 broths. For our group size, the server recommended 2 broths so everything can heat up and cook quickly. We got the tom yum soup and the three delicacies soup base (seafood, mushrooms, jujubes). We also got an assortment of meats, veggies, etc. The tom yum soup was by far our favorite. The other one was too bland. Honestly I didn't know what all meats we ordered, just that they were delicious. Some other highlights were: pork dumplings, potato noodles, etc. We also got the signature dancing noodle, which I thought was purely for show, but the noodle itself was really great - super chewy. I frequently had to flag down the waitress for a refill or help. If you're looking for a first hot pot experience, celebrating with kids, or want the novelty of the noodle show, you may enjoy it. But if you're already familiar with hot pot and are coming primarily for the food, you may find it hard to justify the price. For us, the experience was memorable (and only because it was our first time trying this place). The meal itself definitely wasn't.

Saigon Jade 1948 W Broadway Rd Ste 103, Mesa, AZ 85202 After a long day, I was excited to find a wonderful restaurant, and Saigon Jade immediately came to mind. Known for its great food and friendly staff, it was the perfect choice! I decided to try a few dishes: the Spring Roll, Duck Noodle Soup, and a beef dish. Spring Roll: When the spring rolls arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find two large rolls! They were not only generous in size but also incredibly fresh and delicious. Each bite was a delightful experience. Duck Noodle Soup: The duck noodle soup was a highlight of my meal. The soup was perfectly seasoned, and the flavors were simply delightful. The duck was tender and added a wonderful richness to the dish. Beef with Noodles: Although I was quite full by the time I reached the beef dish, I couldn't resist trying it. Everything was pretty good, as usual. The only thing we noticed was that the meat portion in the shaking beef stir-fry seemed smaller than usual, though the flavor was still really good. The main reason for the 3-star review was the service. From the moment we walked in, the guy who seated us seemed to have an attitude, which made things feel a little awkward. One of the girls who helped us was much kinder and had better energy, but the overall experience still felt a bit uncomfortable because of how he came across. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the restaurant was! It was an open layout and made the whole restaurant feel spacious. There wasn't a wait but they were fairly filled up. I got the seafood pho and thought it was delicious! It's not the traditional pho, but I did get to try my friends' Banh Canh Cua. That dish was super delicious and flavorful! Overall, the food was really good tasting and had a good amount of portion! The service was fairly reasonable and the people were really nice. Definitely a must come in the area! read more

This restaurant just open, but it literally have the best beef and noodle. Especially the spicy beef rice noodle will take your breath away. The most appetizer that is really good is Fine thin vermicelli is absolutely amazing. I just love it so much. Egg roll and the sweet fish sauce is whoooo. 10, 10,10 across the board people. If you guys need to this restaurant, you guys should try out some rice noddle. They make it so good. read more
