Food was good. A little bit pricey. Didn't have the rice sheet rolls that we wanted so had to pivot since we were already there. The night we went it was ran/staffed by mostly young adult males that weren't organized and not as friendly - kept asking if we had ordered and what we ordered. Took about 20 mins for our togo order. We ordered the grilled pork skewers with rice noodles, veggies, and rice paper wrapper (missing the rice paper wrappers and fish sauce we requested), noodles with veggies, boiled pork, and fried tofu (deliciously stinky btw), lotus root salad (lotus root was tough - could have been sliced thinner), and the nem cuon (yummy and appreciate individually wrapped with plastic to extend freshness and prevent from sticking). read more

Cozy little family owned restaurant in the Mesa Community College neighborhood. Friendly owners, delicious authentic Vietnamese food. I had the rice vermicelli with shrimps and egg rolls, it was delicious! I will definitely comeback to try something different next time. Thank you! read more

Just finished eating here. The food is tasty and the place is clean. The atmosphere is so so but I find that a lot in restaurants in strip malls. I would recommend eating here for the great tasting dishes. The service was good too! read more

I think this place should have the highest compliment of all Vietnamese restaurants in Arizona. I have tried more than 10 different dishes and they are all from 7 to 9 (sr I'm kinda picky, 10 is hard lol). Even though the price may be a bit high, still it's worth the flavor Adding new items is a plus point and I love fresh Pho noodle so Saigon Jade definitely deserves the love from customers read more

I usually bring my lunch to work but today our microwave crashed and so my husband came to meet me for lunch. without a ton of time we saw great reviews for Saigon Jade (which is mins from my work too) Walked in to a quaint little restaurant with a open kitchen; plus it was clearly family owned which I LOVE! We got an order of egg rolls to start - amazing! and the dipping sauce made in house was soooo good - try adding some of the dark chili sauce to it if you like spice. We both ordered 6.3 - Vermicelli with pork - so fresh! so tasty!!! and a very generous portion for only $10! We also loved the nice fruit infused water - great touch! I was craving Viet food as power food before my graduation :P Luckily Saigon Jade opens at 10am, does NOT have a wait, and exceeded my expectations Parking: giant lot in a pretty quiet strip mall. It was hard to find at first because the 1800 flowers building covers its view from the street. It's across from Target and the flowers building, standing on its own. Ambience: not much, if you're looking for a cute trendy hipster date night restaurant, this is not the place for you. It's simple, down to earth, mom-and-pop feels (literally I think the mom is the chef and the waiter is her son) FOOD: yumz, I was impressed with some of the AUTHENTIC options on menu like banh canh, hu tieu, BUN MAM??? Woah too legit to quit. They even have freshly chopped chili serve with our food... yumz and spicy... Hu tieu kho (phom phei noodles) with soup on the side 4.5/5: flavors were great, portion is solid. I was missing the more authentic meat like liver/ quail egg but over all they packed a lot of great meat in the bowl. Bun thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli noodles with eggrolls and grilled pork): my fiance devoured his food so quick I didn't get a chance to try it... but presentation was great, very solid portion as well! If I could give them 10 stars , I would. The food is beyond excellent. They were so good before the expansion and now with the wide variety of food in their menus, it's like icing on the cake. There are many dishes that aren't available, just yet. But the dishes that they have on their menus, I have not yet found any that aren't good. Do not pass on Banh Canh Cua - Vietnamese Udon Crab Soup! I would say this is one of their specialty dishes. I never really liked it as a dish before, until I had it here. I'm in love! Bun Dau Mam Tom and Com Ga Xoi Mo are another good ones as well. Service is awesome, however they do get really busy so, be patient with the speed of the service. read more

Very good Vietnamese, not pricey compared to other Vietnamese cuisine with same quality. The Restaurant can do a better job of keeping the bathrooms and dining area clean. We always order the vermicelli bowls of beef, veggie egg roll and chicken. read more

Excellent food and service, I think I found my new loves. I ordered two chicken pad Thai and it was ready as promised. An elderly man outside had answered the phone and knew my order was ready before I had my car door opened. The only thing I would change was more spice. I got a generous helping and two dinners 20 dollars. Good food and great service, I will return. I did drive by it three times before I found them. They're located in the building with a christen center, closest to target. It's the first store front you see . Excellent. Update : try and use their direct line . They have no CONTRACTS with beyond menu or grubhub and even though I put I was getting take out they still charge you . Price for two meals this time was doubled ! read more

Saigon Jade is my backup for pho when my favorite pho restaurant is closed. The food is ok -- the broth isn't as rich as I'd expect. The chicken in the pho ga is often dry. I ordered the shrimp pho once and the shrimp was slightly undercooked (to be fair, I ordered it to-go, so the broth wasn't hot enough to properly heat through the shrimp once it got home). The Vietnamese rolls are also mostly lettuce. read more

Great food and service! My only complaint is that they brought out cold water for the rice paper which took a while to soften the paper to be able to wrap the rest of the food. I'm used to using hot/warm water to help minimize the time to soften the rice paper. read more

Super cute family owned shop. Friendly staff, very clean, has limited seating. If you are thinking about going over there during a main dinner turn, go a bit earlier. Thai iced tea is bomb, curry is delicious, and authentic tasting. Order the potstickers, you won't be disappointed. Pad Thai is a bit sweeter then I'm used to, but I countered that with extra spice. LOVE SAIGON JADE! I called and asked if it would be alright if I brought my pup and they set up a table especially for us right outside and consistently checked on us to make sure we were okay:) Not only is the service great but the food is flavorful and well portioned! I have had pho and plenty of places and judge it very critically, I love this place for their curry noodle and their bun bo hue! Also if you love Thai tea and coconut order their Thai tea with coconut milk and you won't regret it! Oh and I love their water! You'll see what I mean! read more

We have a house divided. I'm an omnivore and my better half is vegetarian, but tries to eat mostly vegan. Having been born and raised in the Bay Area, we were spoiled with all the awesome Vietnamese and other Asian restaurants they have to offer. Luckily we found Saigon Jade. I can't fully express how great their customer service is, you have to see it for yourself. Their menu is amazing, which includes a full vegan menu for those who eat vegan or for those who like to have non-meat options occasionally. The food is amazing! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a bowl of tasty pho, but Saigon Jade is so much more than just a pho shop. They do have pho, and it is delicious, but there's so much more than just pho and spring rolls (also incredibly well done). Their garlic crab meat fried noodle plate is amazing. Lots of crab meat, vermicelli noodles cooked to perfection. The beef stew is very hearty, meat is great (not stringy or chewy). Their Vietnamese curry is great, too. You can order it with rice or bread. We went with bread which is great to soak up the curry in the bowl. From the vegan menu, my gf swears by the vermicelli with vegan pork. She always gets extra vegan pork because it's so good. She's a light eater so she'll scarf down the first half and reheat the rest later. According to her it still tastes great reheated (I can back that up, as I usually steal a bite or two). She's also ordered the vegan pad Thai and loved it. Their attention to detail is really what makes this place shine. Even the dipping sauces for the wontons is insanely better than any other restaurant we've been to. It feels like you've made a close friend with a Vietnamese person who's invited you over for some epic family meal. I would definitely recommend checking them out! read more

I'm probably a little biased, due to only eating pho from Unphogettable (which I enjoy), but... This pho is much more authentic-like. The beef was fantastic as it was fresh, melt-off-the-bone steak. This place has completely exceeded my expectations! My sister and I are both vegan and were looking for a place to eat for dinner and saw this place just opened up with a full vegan menu!! (They also serve non-vegan options and they deliver) It's a cute, small, family-owned business in a great spot; located about 5 minutes from the freeway and within walking distance to Mesa Community College. There's plenty of places to park as well. We were greeted by our lovely waiter as soon as we walked through the door and were sat immediately. The place is very clean and the bathroom was clean as well. We were given two menus; one with all the food and the other with all the drinks and desserts. I started off with a refreshing, ice cold water infused with oranges and mint and my sister got a thai ice tea with coconut cream which I took a sip of and it's fantastic. We browsed the vegan menu for a bit and decided to get spring rolls, vegan pho, and later we ordered sticky mango rice and fried banana rolls. The food, drinks, and dessert were fairly priced and the portion sizes were huge! My sister ended up having to take her entree and dessert to go. On taste critique, the spring rolls were fantastic. Nice and light while filling you up. The same goes for the vegan pho. It came with a variety of vegetables like bok choy and mushrooms, to name a few, and tofu! The broth was airy and fresh. To finish both desserts were tasty and felt healthy as the fried banana rolls were not too oily and the sticky mango rice had a lighter, not too intense sweet taste. I love this restaurant's emphasis on not only great tasting food, but their dedication to fresh ingredients and no MSG. The service was excellent as well, as we were visited multiple times to fill up on water and ask about the food. All in all, I wish I could give this place higher than 5 stars. They hit it out of the park on every aspect; location, cleanliness, service, and food. If I lived closer, I'd be here all the time! Excellent first time ordering experience, the food was delivered ahead of schedule, so it was hot & delicious on arrival. I ordered the Ginger chicken, BBQ Pork sandwich & seafood pad Thai- everything was fantastic. The BBQ pork sandwich was packed with the veggies in a separate bag, so they were crisp & fresh, the baguette was crunchy on the outside and soft inside, the pork was tender and scrumptious! The seafood pad Thai included 3 shrimp, 4 large pieces of grilled squid, & a clam - doesn't sound like much but enough not to be overpowering yet incredibly flavorful. The ginger chicken was packed full of white meat chicken and veggies, a bit light on ginger but enough that you know it's there. Great food. Initial service was awesome. Here is why I'm giving them a two. The entire time i sat in the restaurant, a man that worked there just stood and stared in my direction the entire time. Water is infused with pieces of , served really cold in a glass cup, which makes a big difference, yes maybe I'm picky with my water hehehe. My husband and I were craving Vietnamese food. We found this restaurant on yelp and decided to give it a try, and I am so glad we did! The moment you walk in, you can smell the delicious spices in the broth from the pho soup. I decided on a pho, while my husband tried the thin rice vermicelli. The broth from my soup was salty, a bit sweet from the star anise, and had a very slight spice at the end from pepper. The combination of flavors was perfect and just what I hoped for. You can tell this soup has been simmered for hours and cooked with love If you have never tried pho, check this place out! Just ordered delivery from here and wow, I'm impressed. This is more a 4.5 but I'll round up due to finding a yummy Asian place. I ordered the seafood udon soup (this was good but a bit oily), the Tom yum soup (great flavor--so much better than the Thai places in Arizona), a sids of pho broth (tastes authentic), some steamed veggies (I mean how can you go wrong), and a yummy lime soda drink. I had also ordered some tendons, but they either ran out or decided not to include it so it was refunded. I was a little annoyed cuz I was making my own veggie pho with tendon so I wish they had called to ask if I want to replace with something else. But I have to say I was extremely please with the food and will definitely be going to the restaurant directly or ordering from them again! read more
